Hallo allen, Bitcoin inspireert ook mij. Maar ik heb deze prangende vraag:
Zit er met bitcoin niet het one-size-fits-all-risico in, zoals je nu met de euro hebt; De EU, een lappendenken van te veel van elkaar verschillende landen, met dezelfde munt?
En een andere kritiek op de euro: Het slimme geld (euro’s) verlaat bijvoorbeeld Griekenland, waar het geld juist geïnvesteerd zou moeten worden. Het lijkt mij dat dit, natuurlijk ook in een bitcoin-economie kan gebeuren.

En als ik het goed heb begrepen, kunnen er op de bitcoin-blockchain ook apps worden gelanceerd. Dus mogelijk ook lokale munten? Of is Ethereum daar dan een geschiktere blockchain voor?

Are there already such applications for Eos, Tron, and Ada?

Today I sold at Binance all of my Iota (for Eos). In the trade-screen, I choose 100% to sell. But 0.0562 Iota stays at the balance; I can't sell it. Why is that?

I regestered an account on Binance, and choose tot receive 2FA authentication per SMS. But I also saw the option to activate the API code. I know I need that, to install Google Authenticator at a new phone.

My question: Do I also need it with 2FA authentication per SMS?

Today I saw this article 'Being cash-free puts us at risk of attack': Swedes turn against cashlessness.

My question: Will it be possible to create a hybrid coin? NOT centralized like Ripple, Euros, British Ponds, Dollars, ectc, but decentralized. Plus: We have also cash money in our wallet.

Or do I have to ask my question in a different way; It's logical, it's possible. But will the bankers cooperate, to loose their monopoly of creating money from thin air?

Iota-transactions are free. Now I like to send my Iota's from Bitfinex to Binance. I can do that without any costs?
No, I guess that's too good to be true... I guess Bitfinex will charge me for a (minimal) amount? How high will this amount be, Bitfinex will charge me?

Since a few months I’m buying crypto-coins at Bittrex. I’ve also enabled Two Factor Authentication.

Past week, there was this news: '$60 MILLION' Bitcoin theft: Hackers steal huge haul as value of the cryptocurrency soars to record high of $15,000'

Logging in with 2FA at Bittrex, I feel safe. But what other ways do hackers have to steal wallets?

The safest way off course is an usb- or desktop-wallet. I like it, that the Exodus-wallet gives me the opportunity for having multiple coins. But except for Litecoin, I don’t buy the other coins. (I have Stratis, Waves, Stellar Lumen, and soon also Iota.)

My question: Off course Bittrex (and other exchange-sites) has (have) a high security-level.
But ‘waterproof’ doesn’t exist.

Who can tell me; What does Bittrex -except for 2FA- to get (close) to waterproof security?

About estimating the hack-risk: I’ve reasonable PC-basic-knowledge. But things ‘under the hood’ are sometimes too technical for me.

Sinds een paar maanden ben ik op Bittrex crypto-muntjes aan het kopen. Ik heb ook Two Factor Authentication aangezet.

Afgelopen week was er dit nieuws: ‘Bitcoins met totale waarde van 70 miljoen dollar gestolen bij hack NiceHash’

Met het 2FA inloggen op Bittrex zit het wel goed. Maar welke andere manieren hebben hackers nog, om de wallets op bv BIttrex leeg te halen?
Het veiligst is natuurlijk een usb- of desktop-wallet. Met Exodus zou ik een wallet voor meerdere muntjes hebben. Maar behalve Litecoin, dan weer net niet voor die muntjes die ik ook aanhoud (Stratis, Waves, Stellar Lumen, en binnenkort waarschijnlijk ook Iota).

M'n vraag: Natuurlijk doet Bittrex er alles aan, om hackers buiten de deur te houden. Maar toch; 'Waterdicht' bestaat niet. Wie kan mij vertellen, wat Bittrex -behalve 2FA- zoal aan security doet?

Over het hack-risico inschatten; Ik heb een redelijk goede pc-basis-kennis. Maar alles onder de motorkap, wordt me net even te technisch.

I want to pay with the bitcoins at my Bittrex-wallet.
And now I have a few questions about the payment details:

1) Card number: I guess that's the Bittrex bitcoin wallet-code.

2) Security code: Those are the 3 last numbers at a credit card. Well, I'm not paying with a creditcard, but from my Bittrex bitcoin wallet-code.

How to solve this? Where do I find the security code at my Bittrex bitcoin wallet?

Crypto currencies hebben ook m'n aandacht.
Ik wou binnenkort wat Nextcoin (NXT, € 0.007552) en Ripple (XTR, € 0.004934) aanschaffen. Hierover lees en hoor (*) ik dat dezen innovatiever zijn dan Bitcoin; Ze hebben de potentie om door te breken.

De prijzen zoals bovengenoemd zijn natuurlijk heel aantrekkelijk.
Maar nu lees ik op BesteBank.org - Altcoins en echte vrijheid het advies, dat ik als beginner beter met bv Peercoin zou kunnen beginnen.

M'n vraag is, tegen welke obstakels kan ik met Nextcoin en Ripple aanlopen? De afwezigheid van een hardware wallet? (Ja, online je coins bewaren is natuurlijk minder safe.)
En natuurlijk interesseer ik me ook voor Bitcoin. Maar... ik vind de prijs op dit moment vrij hoog staan.

Doel is voor mij niet speculeren. Maar het veilig weg zetten van een deel van m'n spaargeld.
Graag hoor ik jullie advies.
