I am not that great with networking but I wanted to prevent this with my own VPN, so I wrote a small tutorial here:

3  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Inputs.io Security on: July 04, 2013, 03:33:08 PM
I have confirmed via HTTP recording they do send just a SHA256 hashed password over the network (with no salt). It would indeed be more secure to salt your pin code you entered in a way that would not be obvious to someone who was sniffing around.

None the less, hashing a password before it's sent in a POST is more secure most non-financial sites.

I can only hope they do some sort of unique salt when storing the password to their database.

I have received $1000 USD MtGox code and my situation is settled. If furrycoat confirms everything is good with him, I'll delete this post.

Update: I have filed a police report with my county sheriffs office. He seemed hopeful they can get a search warrant for comcast and to give up the IP information. Both his new and old IP (all your aliases on bitcoin-otc don't hide you). It takes a few days for me to get the report and then I will show mtgox.

Liberty Payout , it's not too late to pay back the money owed. Fraud charges on your record is not worth $1000. Think it through.

okay, this user, his name is Kirch123 on exchangemoneyforum.com. His name is also Joshua Murphy. His updated yahoo is verizon4824. i linked his ip and everything together

I will confirm with the forums owner, I have already noticed he had registered on it with "Liberty Payout" in the past and already sent an email a few hours ago. I also asked anyone who has ever had him on skype to let me know his skype too.

Edit:

Seems your information is wrong.

http://exchangemoneyforum.com/showthread.php/135359-Need-Buy-Moneypak-URGENT

Here is Kirch123 calling out someone with the verizon4824 yahoo name.

Also Kirch123 is involved with this thread: http://exchangemoneyforum.com/showthread.php/135967-Selling-Moneypak-with-receipts-and-without
In which an associate of Liberty Payout "moneypak" is trying to sell MP and Kirch123 is wary, and then later Liberty vouches for him, saying he made an account for moneypak just to vouch from him.  Then Kirch123 doubts Liberty Payouts vouch : http://cl.ly/image/0M370j3P0m30. If they were the same person why would he do that?  Later on though "Liberty Payout" calls moneypak a scammer on bitcointalk. None the less I added moneypak's skype to see if he will give up any information on Liberty Payout

Furthermore, Joshua Murphy seems to be : http://www.facebook.com/Joshuam319  which indicates he lives in North Carolina according to a lot of sites, thus cannot be Liberty Payout as he lives in the PA/NJ area.

Just to update, Liberty Reserve is a confirmed hacker https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=131703.0  and scammer: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=131107

If you have any information that can lead to his identity , please contact me.
11  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Liberty Payout ($1000) on: December 20, 2012, 11:08:21 AM
I have switched the topic to confirmed, albeit I know this means I might not ever get paid by him now unless I involve help, which I plan to do.

He has used the nick Azelphur_ trying to impersonate Azelphur, oddly enough someone he actually did a transaction on XOOM with (source: http://bitcoin-otc.com/viewratingdetail.php?nick=LRP)

Thus hopefully Azelphur can let me know any identifying information and I can bring him to justice. I know with great certainty his IP is 76.124.34.93 which indicates he is from the Philadelphia/new jersey area as the IP is a comcast IP from a NJ headquarter, and some results indicate PA or NJ from records. He has also indicated he lives in Philadelphia.

I have already contacted comcast but haven't got a reply but I think if I get a court order I can get his information from Comcast, or at least MtGox. MtGox has told me they will give me the details of his account if I got a court order as well.

It would make the court/police proceedings much easier if I just had a name and address to go with, instead of an IP address and internet handle, so hopefully one of his previous customers will raise up and let us know any information so we can proceed to get our money back.

Liberty,

Something needs to be done. You have logged in since many of these replies and I've sent you numerous PMs. There is still time to fix this and clear your name, and potential more business to be done with me but if I don't get anything in the next 24 hours I can only seem you are a scammer. I will delete this thread once you finish the transaction and there will be no stain on your record.
13  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Unsure: Liberty Payout ($1000) on: December 18, 2012, 07:26:14 PM
I will accept BTC if you send $1006 USD worth of BTC ($6 to cover my 0.06% mtgox fee to convert BTC to USD) at the going MtGox Instant 13.24 USD/BTC price (75.982 BTC). Please check the MtGox Rate at time of sending.

I am willing to accept no more than a $10 USD loss, so by the time MtGox gets the BTC in account and I do the instant conversation if I have less than $990 USD then I expect more BTC to be sent to make up for the difference. From sending to conversation takes 15-30 minutes and all you need is a 0.1 USD/BTC loss for it to lose $10 worth of value.

If that is acceptable, please check your PM for my direct MtGOx Deposit address and send ASAP.

All I want is $1000 USD MtGox back (not apparent $1000 USD worth of BTC) if the deal cannot go through.

Ill adress this when i get home.

Any update? You never addressed it.

Surely your Jewish partner has been around now. What is the hold up? I suggested 3 solutions to the problem and you took no action thus far.

I don't see this thread meeting it's goal, once numbers start to get unique enough you wont find images, IE: 245369 , not less anything with 1  million or beyond
16  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Unsure: Liberty Payout ($1000) on: December 17, 2012, 10:10:29 AM
Interestingly he took away his vouch thread from his signature, where I had made people aware of this situation. I understand no one wants a bad image but to hide a situation in which you are involved in that makes you look bad from your own fault seems very shady.

Liberty I need an ETA or a BTC compensation that would adjust for any exchange or mtgox fee I may occur. I either need the $990 in my BOA as discussed or $1000 USD in my MtGox account (by code or BTC that will convert to $1000 USD instantly on mtgox)
17  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Unsure: Liberty Payout ($1000) on: December 16, 2012, 11:30:00 PM
Just an update: I declined his BTC proposal, mostly because I dont want the mtgox fee and we are now waiting for his partner to get online and finish the transaction. I will adjust/delete this post accordingly after said transaction.

Recent transaction, possible scam: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=131107.0

I will delete this when dispute is settled. Until then DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS GUY. May be someone on his account. Unsure but not safe at the moment.

Liberty Payout
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=58854

Hey all, new to the forums here but I've done 3500+ USD from my newbie thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=105264.0

BCB No longer has ING so "Liberty Payout" Told me he can do BoA instant transfer. I checked his feedback from bitcoin-otc and posts on here and seems reliable. His replies were within 5 minutes while chatting and then he said he wanted the MTGOXUSD first, which as I am newer, I understood. I sent it in a PM and this time it took him 45 minutes to reply:

"Forwarded the code to my partner. If it's been used and you have not received payment yet it will definitely be credited within the hour. If not, I'll send you the difference in BTC."

At this point I started to get worried and I was going to write him if its not instant then forget it. I went to check on my code before his "partner" redeemed it but only seconds after that PM was sent it seemed to be used. It's been 3 hours since his last reply and I have still yet to get a reply from him, or anything in my bank account.

I thought this guy could be trusted? Granted I need to relax and give it time, but he did set himself a timeline (within 1 hour) and has not even replied to 2 PMs.
