4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This guy has lost 103 Bitcoins on: May 16, 2018, 04:21:33 PM
This guy has lost 103 bitcoins he mined back in 2011 and then lost his wallet dat file similar to what I have done but wow this guy must be gutted the amount of money he has lost compared to me

His Address    166BuLPWHUjqoqiYp5rGE3B5r5AmqgHpoL    Final Balance   103.20832384 BTC

So many people have the same problem and I wonder just how much Bitcoin is stuck not being able to be used Sad

He says "I used to mine Bitcoin back in 2011 and I lost my wallet.dat file (through several stupid moves on my part). It's got approx 103 BTC in it, anyone is welcome to it, I've given up trying."

In 2011 bitcoin wasn't valued maybe after mining he stop caring about his wallet, i can fell his pain since i am also involve with it. I had already lost my wallet with 2 btc on it.I  try to recover them but all in vain. Its become the greatest problem for every bitcoin users. They're losing their wallets and bitcoin which can affect on BTC, we all lose the 103 bitcoin since we don't have enough bitcoin left Only 20 Percent Of total Bitcoins Remain To Be Mined.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reputation of Bitcoin in the Philippines. on: May 16, 2018, 02:48:31 PM
I just watched a news about Bitcoin scam here in the Philippines a little while ago that aired on the national television. A couple scammed almost 1 Billion Php (19,260,000$) to 50 Filipinos by the use of pyramiding scheme. What will be the impact of this news to the Bitcoin investors in the Philippines? Will it decrease?

I think that it will have a big negative impact in the reputation of bitcoin in Philippines. Since it aired on the national television and almost all Filipinos can see it, some of the future investors will be frightened to invest in bitcoin. And that will decrease the potential bitcoin users worldwide.

http://cnnphilippines.com/news/2018/04/10/bitcoin-scam-pnp.html

It impact a lot, people can start hating bitcoin and it can ruined the reputation in Philippines. Not only bitcoin but other crypto currency are also in danger. This is huge amount and for the safety Philippines government can ban bitcoin which can impact bitcoin growth. Just for other careless people stop believing in bitcoins plus newbies will never take part after hearing false news that bitcoin is a scam.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Now and Forever on: May 14, 2018, 01:28:21 PM
I've been listening to lot's of talk people are indulging in these days about future of bitcoin and most of them assume there's no scope and hope for bitcoin.

Maybe, Umm Maybe they are right but strongly they are wrong based on the fact the world is moving.
Gaint's company and people who are running an organization would never support in the future of bitcoin because they feel powerless when they won't control the money, but because of the power and technology is being used behind this coin they might surrender.

Ok, I've been listening to some people saying "We won't be relying on money generated by electrcity" my point is what's the problem in this "Are we going back to the era where there will be no electricity? No Never".

As a normal person like you, I believe there' no bad in these coins although they are making our lives easy and saving us from crazy taxes. I'm not a millionaire I think for my every single $ like most people. There is the downside of these coins that I might not aware of but overall it's a good experience for me. Although during my trades I always lost my money never get profit. (I'm bad at my luck or not know how to play)

As a resident of Las Vegas, I can see a dramatic change in this cryptocurrency no matter if it's going down but surely will raise based on the growth and usage.

If you wear some cool unique dress and other peoples starting to wear the same dress and after sometimes that same dress starts selling on the shops at your city and in the world that means your dress was really awesome.

Same with this bitcoins It's been used all over the city. Let me give you some real facts.

Las Vegas is the city of tourist and we all know people all around of world came here and these people have good money.

Casinos and gambling are the heart of Vegas the moment you step into the airport you will see poker machines and now casino's are accepting bitcoin...

Gentlemen's Club in Vegas have started to accept bitcoin. However, not all of them but the point is they realized and started to accept this powerful thing.

If you walk to the restaurant and have NO Dollar that's fine you can use your bitcoin to pay for food as Restuarants accepting Bitcoin...

I know there are many other big places you will see bitcoin being used I just mentioned places which are most visited places in Vegas.

PS: No matter how much the value of coin goes down we still can't predict the future and hope this currency should grow...

Your expert thoughts are always welcome  Cool

Actually we are bitcoin investors may be that the reason we want for bitcoin bright future. But in fact, we are talking about future and no one is here in this world who has seen the future, but hope gives us life and about bitcoin i also have bright thinking like you.
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin a Bubble? on: May 09, 2018, 06:08:11 PM
Hello community,

I have heard some reports that 'someone' has put $1 million on Bitcoin being $50,000 before the end of 2018 and other conflicting reports that Bitcoin is a bubble that is going to burst. I understand this is very much a time will tell kind of question and some may argue that the press has said bitcoin is  going to burst/fail since it came out but look at it now... and I understand there may be at least a chance it could be worth $1 million in the future.

What I am asking is what are the big Bitcoin holders thoughts on this are they bailing or are they holding for the long hall, if they are holding can 'The Bitcoin Bubble' really still burst?

I have most of my eggs riding in this crazy but attractive world and would really appreciate inside feedback.

Thanks for reading  Shocked Cool Huh Undecided

Pump will not take bitcoin to 20,000$. It is a slow and steady process and it may take 4 to 5 months until we see 20,000$ again. During this time we may see increase in prices followed by decrease in prices. The prices can not always move in upward direction constantly.
8  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reasons why Bitcoin is droping: on: May 09, 2018, 05:50:36 PM

Reasons why #Bitcoin is droping:

- Not a single rebrand since 2009
- No "huge news" or "strategic partnerships"
- Not enough airdrops
- Not enough PhD graduates on the team
- Team not doing bounties...
- Logo is not cool
- Satoshi is not being communicative

This was tweeted by person named Crypto Rand, what do you think about his tweet . I think these reasons always exit but Bitcoin is still very expensive, I would like to know your thoughts on this

BTC will surely recover and when it will recover, all the alts will recover with it also. The problem is that currently we are in a bearish run and everything negative is turning up day by day. Its only matter of time when we will see whales again collect cheap coins and start a bull run.
Many people are leaving and selling bitcoins for cheap and we never know that whales are collecting them for cheap.
9  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin is still dropping ? on: May 09, 2018, 11:16:49 AM
bitcoin price is still dropping and now its $8000 within 3 months market is soo awful. What is the real reason for that

Yes, bitcoin is still down, but slowly like turtle's walking movement you will see in bitcoin, now bitcoin is above $9000. However hopefully we have good prediction about bitcoin that after 1 or 2 months we will see bitcoin give us big pump.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Google Wants to Ban ICO and Crypto Ads?! on: March 31, 2018, 03:43:26 AM
Many people are claiming this ad banning to be a positive thing but i disagree to some extent. The ads gives visibility of the new projects and by banning them on a large scale, wont be any good. It also gives a negative impact that investments in ICO is not legal and those who do will have to take risks. I think social media should be free and everyone should have the right to publish anything.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: stop listening to false news on: March 28, 2018, 05:23:40 PM
A lot of news is a special manipulation of the market, on which beginners lose a lot of money. In the near future I think there will be many more publications of fake information.

A false news may not be harmful in other cases but when it comes to bitcoin and crypto systems , this is even more important. As bitcoin prices moves up and down with the positive and negative news, any wrong news can severely damage bitcoin reputation and it always takes time to recover the prices , if they fall down considerably.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC experience for young people on: March 27, 2018, 02:36:46 AM
BTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTCBTC

Hey, I'm not old but I'm closer to old than young. I was fortunate to get into the stock market early and even a couple ipo's which led me into real estate etc. so now I'm in crypto, follow it, read it still trying to figure it out. Anyway, although everyone is now talking Bitcoin I think this story has sent a message about saving and investing to younger people. I don't think speculation is a good lesson but the ability to do more with ur money than spend it or gain no interest in a bank account is a good thing and I only learned it by listening to others as I was making my way.

When i started the journey of bitcoin it was the worst journey ever. What i was doing investing money without any knowledge and any experience. I start with bad investments and losing after losing my all money, i lift my heart from it. Later i thought to learn first i open google and start digging how to invest, When to buy, when to sell, and the especial thing doing trade with bitcoin and alt. In just short time i learn a lot. After that i start earning profit so now its going Good with bitcoin
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: see 11K soon ? on: March 23, 2018, 09:16:58 AM
Bitcoin born to increase. Its the only currency which never fall down. The thing which we can do is to hold more coin as much as we can. Price is around 9k it will increase soon since its the only currency which go up every year as compare to other altcoins. Every one is trying to join bitcoin which can increase his demand so not only 11k it will increase up to 50k this year all we have to do just wait and hold our coins.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be hacked? on: March 23, 2018, 06:31:29 AM
Bitcoins cant be hacked but we cant say anything
If it is on the network then it is vulnerable to attacks
Its next to impossible to hack bitcoins but the wallets can be

I think bitcoins can be hacked as it is available online and anything which is online is subject to hack if not properly taken care of. There are many hackers whom job is to get bitcoin hack so we need to be careful. Things like keep the private key safe and using 2fa for online wallets and exchanges are a few steps which can safeguard us from hackers.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to Signatum on: March 23, 2018, 05:25:01 AM

17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are they afraid of bitcoin? on: December 21, 2017, 02:57:47 PM
When one has been given the freedom in the economy, automatically the growth gets progressive around the country. In specific more the tax levied upon the citizens, more will be the corruption taking place. In majority of the countries corruption keeps the economy down, so similar issues can be sought with ease.

Things change with time and so is the currency. Remember the time we have taxi only and now Uber has given an altogether new ways of booking the taxi services without calling or leaving the home. Same is bitcoin doing with the fiat and giving people all together new ways of  payment. As always many people fear the change and these are those people who do not want the change and making people afraid of bitcoins.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: McDonalds to accept Bitcoin by 2018 on: December 19, 2017, 03:29:43 PM
Well it is a really great news that mcdonalds will accept bitcoin because the food will be cheaper and easier to buy. Bitcoins is a digital currency that's why it has a secured and fast transaction and it was really a good idea if bitcoins can be used on a fast food stall.
This is a great news for all the Mcdonalds lovers and also good for those who want to pay in bitcoins for their burgers. The only thing which I think will hurdle them is the transaction confirmations times. Sometimes customers might have to wait for long in order to confirm their payments through bitcoins which can make the queue a bit longer at their shop.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: short term investment or long term invesetment on: December 15, 2017, 02:43:26 PM
When it comes to the investment, many newcomers or people with frequent requirement find it difficult to invest for longer amount of time. Here by short investment i mean any investment which is less than year old. That investment has been cashed out within a year. And by long term investment I mean investment which will be kept for more than year ( ideally 10 years or so).
What do you think which is more beneficial short term investment or long term investment

Invest in what? If you're investing with trade i suggest you to do long term. Short-term trade won't gives any benefits. If you're looking for invest by holding your coins and low price and sell it to high then again i suggest you to do long term. Hold your coins for long term . I my self do long terms trading and investment for the profits.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Women in the cryptocurrency industry on: December 15, 2017, 07:07:28 AM
Every so often I run into an article that talks about how few women are involved in this industry compared to men. My suspicion is that there are more women involved than anyone realizes; they're just not putting their gender front and center.

What do you all think?

https://moneyish.com/ish/all-the-reasons-why-women-can-be-the-future-of-cryptocurrency/

Gender doesn't matter. Of course woman has all rights to use bitcoins at least they're human and containing a brain to use bitcoins . But I am wonder why woman are not putting there gender. Anyways i just dig more about it and found woman are more involve with bitcoin as compare to men and we are not aware of it as bitcoins is anonymous and we don't know who is behind the transactions, male or female.
