If I have rules setup for PING:

Never Buy UNDER X1
Never Buy OVER X2

and PONG:

Never Sell UNDER X3
Never Sell OVER X4

Once the PING is completed is there a way to force it to generate a PONG within the sell range, or can that only be done by adjusting the Gain setting?

Nevermind, I think I figured it out.  "When Limit Is Applied Adequate Price to Limit", correct?

Is there a detailed description of how the Buy/Sell Pool works anywhere?  I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around it by just reading the individual settings in the manual, and have not found a post that really goes into detail on it.

BSP is very simple, you will find a description with behaviour here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=507103.msg5590902#msg5590902 paragraph "- How Does a Ping-Pong Cycle Work?"

From the next Version, Buy Pool will be in PartnerCurrency (QTYXPRICE = TOTAL) and Sell pool will be in Market Currency (QTY)
In other words on a market LTC/BTC where you buy / sell LTC, you will have SELL Pool in LTC and Buy Pool in BTC

Thanks Sampey

I'm thinking of dedicating a PC to use only for C.A.T.  I would likely be using it on two exchanges with anywhere from 20 to 30 markets per exchange.  Could someone suggest minimum Hardware and memory for a  setup like this?   This would be on a Windows machine.

Also, would I get better performance from one PC per exchange instead of one?

Thanks!
7  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Bitmain Antminer U3 Setup [HD] on: January 09, 2016, 09:53:35 PM
Anyone know the dimensions, or maybe a McMaster-Carr part number for the screws that mount the heatsink to the U3?  I have the newer version with the wire cage.  This would be the screws that have the springs on them I'm referring to.

Thanks!

Can you please link me ? I can't seem to find anything about it by googling or by searching here : https://multibit.org/en/help/hd0.1/contents.html I don't think it's possible and I never heard of such feature before . Most of Desktop wallet have features related to Hardware wallets like Trezor but not with mobile wallets as you said .

It looks like either I can't find it now, or they may have made some changes to the site the past few days.  There was an area that had a (+) that when you clicked on it, it expanded and listed two wallets that were compatible.  But seems to be gone now.  I'm pretty sure it was right there on the home page when I originally saw it.

I read on the MultibitHD support site that Breadwallet is compatible with MultibitHD as a mobile option.

What exactly does this mean and how do I set it up?  Does it allow me to transact from both desktop and phone using the same wallet?  If using a hardware wallet as I am is it still possible to use Breadwallet?

Thanks for any insight on this.

KeepKey installation worked flawlessly with 0.1.4, very happy with the wallet.  Thanks!

I have one and am very happy with it, using it with MultibitHD.  Had no luck setting it up with Electrum on Windows 10.  The instructions to install Electrum you pretty much have to have experience with another operating system and I guess the step-by-step instructions I found were not step-by-step since it didn't work for me. Smiley

Setup with MultibitHD was straightforward.  The wallet detected it immediately and asked if I wanted to setup the hardware wallet.

Customer service at KeepKey seems to be very responsive as well.
12  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Has anyone use Kryonaut Thermal Compound on their ASIC's? on: November 26, 2015, 02:17:10 AM
I ended up using it on my S5.  Temperatures dropped about 3 to 4 degrees from whatever was being used on it previously.  I had one ASIC that was X'ing out.  It did it once after I applied the new compound but hasn't done it since.

Sorry I don't have more data, its my first miner and I was in a hurry to get it running. Smiley

Thanks everybody.  Traveling at the moment, but will install the newer version when I return at the end of the week.

I did get the old version working after my post with two of the U3's.  Haven't had them zombie once yet.

Hi All,

I've been reading through this long thread and haven't been able to find a clear answer.

I have a U3 working fine on cgminer using Windows 10.  I would like to have it work with two U3's at once.  Here is my current batch file, could someone please tell me what I need to modify to get it to work with two U3's?

Code:
cgminer.exe  --bmsc-options 115200:0.57 -o stratum+tcp://solo.ckpool.org:3333 -u 1DqnYDCu24ot7JKZwNEvNDMLRH8CTeSHaC.0 -p 123,123  --bmsc-voltage 0830  --bmsc-freq 0982

Would really appreciate any help provide.

Thanks!

I have two brand new units of this power supply.  I'm using one on an AntMiner S5.  I've read that voltage should never read below 12 volts for the AntMiner.  If I run it at default 350 Freq I am reading 11.97 volts at the DC connectors with the AntMiner running.  Is this close enough?  The reason I ask is that I tried the other new power supply on it and it has the exact same reading 11.97 volts.  If I drop the frequency to 300 both power supplies read 12.01 volts with the AntMiner running.

Here's the readings I'm getting:

AC input to power supply (with the Antminer running as the load) 119.6 volts  - Kill-A-Watt meter shows about 5amps AC being drawn and I believe about 600W.
DC Output at 350 Freq: 11.97v
DC Output at 300 Freq: 12.1v

So would the 11.97v be acceptable since both supplies give the same reading?  Or should I be looking for another PSU?

Thanks!

I've read some very good reviews on Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut thermal grease.  I have some on order to try on my used Antminer S5 that I recently purchased.  Curious if anyone had used it yet on their gear and what kind of results you saw on temperature?

How do you create a worker in Antpool?  I'm sure its probably been asked before but its not coming up for me in search.

I've made a sub-account.  When I click on the worker tab it shows the groups and there's a big red button to delete a group but don't see anything to create a worker.  Is there something additional I need to do other than create the sub-account?

Thanks!

Ok, I'm past the point of no return. Smiley

It would never get past 1 year and 12 weeks.  It is now at exactly 1 year and appears to be running very smoothly. It appears that Windows Defender was the issue here.  I'm going to mark this thread as solved!  Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction on this one!
