ah, I made the mistake of using the Chinese Yen currency (0,12 EUR), but it's now a japanese company, so it's japanese Yen (0,01 EUR),
sounds already better, but it's still a very high fee (guess we're paying our Yubi-keys back after all...)

thanks for clearing that up,
but I still don't understand that setting it to EURO doesn't work, on Mt-Gox you can only sell your bitcoins for USD,
so what's the point of that EURO option, you would only need the setting INTERNATIONAL or USD.

anyone tried this way?

Also you can withdraw USD as redeem code and use the below link to convert USD to EUR and you can do SEPA withdrawal.

doesn't say which fees apply? Doesn't look very secure, what's the next step if you were to enter a Redeem code?

Thanks,
REgards,
M

well I tried that, I set up my European bank account (selected EURO), after a few days it was validated and I could transfer the USD funds,
after a few weeks I still didn't receive the money on my bankaccount,
I contacted mtgox who told me this:

Quote
Thank you for your email. On checking your account I see that you have added a bank account with the transfer type as EURO so you will not be able to withdraw via USD to this account. However you can add a bank account with the transfer type as international wire transfer and then you can try withdrawing your funds.

Also you can withdraw USD as redeem code and use the below link to convert USD to EUR and you can do SEPA withdrawal.

http://goxfx.binarycredit.com/

To generate a redeem code kindly follow the below steps.

- Log into your own Mt.Gox account.
- Go to funding option then click Withdraw funds.
- Choose Mt.Gox Redeemable Code.

If you have any further enquiries, please do not hesitate to contact Mt.Gox Support.

Thanks,

MtGox.com Team

so I checked how to register my bankaccount as INTERNATIONAL, but then it states 2000 ¥ fee, which is 240 EUR,
and my funds are only a bit over 500$ !?

I don't believe his advice, why would the selection of EURO not work, but International would...
  (I didn't receive any errors when I "transferred" the funds, I just never received them, they did reappear in my mtgox account.

Also very comforting way of instructing: "then you can try withdrawing your funds",
which sounds like: good luck trying...

It seems they rather make it hard or very expensive to transfer funds... for obvious reasons...
anyone have experience and success with USD to European bank accounts?

thank you for any help!

Kind regards,
Max

Dear Sir/M'dam,

I still can't reply out of here...

I wanted to alert the (worried) people in this thread...
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=80845.860
... Pyramining posted a status on his twitter account...
https://twitter.com/Pyramining
... saying that...
The #pyramining website is down. No estimate yet when it will be back up. #bitcoin

I sure hope everything is OK overthere, because the website gives a bad gateway error,
and I myself have also invested some of my BTC in Pyramining.com ...

but I'm afraid I can't share this info, because I'm still not whitelisted?
what do you need to know about me to change this?

Regards,

wowww tight rules around here,
but that means only quality content in the forum => I like Wink

Well, I've been mining some time now (max. hash rate: around 1,3 Ghash),
tried solo with no luck, so quickly went to pool mining!

Enjoying it ever since... creating & playing with Bitcoins is soooo much fun Cheesy

Thanks for this great forum!

Kind regards,
M

I've tried solo mining with 1,3 Ghash (couple of months ago, so difficulty was easier than now!), after one week I went back to pool mining.

It's like playing the lottery... if you get lucky you can find one right away, or it can take months...

Since my electricity isn't cheap, I rather go for steady incomes...

since I did see my hashing rate correctly, I assume all was set right.

Email address? Are you talking about the same pool?
Because at bitparking you only need to register a UserID & your wallet addresses (bitcoin/namecoin/...).

Thank you for your reply.

10  Other / Beginners & Help / Question regarding Bitparking mining - No balance visible... on: August 21, 2012, 07:53:51 PM
Hi everyone,

seem I can't post anywhere but here as a newby...

The entire last night I was mining for Bitparking,
in the stats it only showed my Hashing powers: around 1300 Mhash, which is correct,
but I still can't see any Balance stats...

so I don't see how many shares I've submitted (yet I know from Phoenix CMD that is was around 11.000 shares...
or does the balance take some time to appear?

I'm using Phoenix 2 miner:

[general]
backend = http://removed:x@mmpool.bitparking.com:15098
autodetect = +cl -cpu -cuda

[cl:0:0]
autoconfigure = False
kernel = phatk2
start_undetected = False
disabled = False
worksize = 128
vectors = True
vectors4 = False
bfi_int = True
fastloop = False
aggression = 5

is this normal or why can't I see my balance?

many thanks in advance for your help...

Best regards,
Max
