1  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~700 Gh/s Mining Pool] INSTANT PAYOUT,+1% with LP! +0.8% for no failed blocks! on: May 15, 2011, 06:05:24 PM
I getting this problem also. I tried a few times.
Did you check your SPAM folder?
I have two deepbit accounts.The new security solution worked fine for the first. Not working at all for the second. Tried with firefox and internet explorer, emptied cache, clicked on confirm  link from e-mail client and tried to paste it to the address field in the browser, the adress to which funds are to be sent is still blank. Probably just a minor flaw in the code that Tycho made.
I just added some bugfix, try once more please.

It worked for me now. Clicking the link in the email now adds my bitcoin address.

I entered in a new bitcoin address then hit save, and confirmed it via email.
The address box is still blank.  Is this normal???
No. Can you please try again and if it's not working - send me a PM with your login ?

3  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: python OpenCL bitcoin miner on: March 26, 2011, 07:45:13 AM
New version is up. All changes are pool related.

- long polling is slightly better in preventing stales to escape to server;
- miner now supports 'time rolling' whenever there is 'X-Roll-NTime' header in HTTP response;
- improved check for end of current task

Working much better for me now. Before this update, I had the miner restart if it threw a RPCError in getwork.
Now I see a bunch of "warning: job finished, miner is idle," but it keeps chugging along.
I haven't looked at the new code yet, but would some pre-fetching help?

... I set my timeout to 15 ...

What are your command line options? How do you set the timeout?
python poclbm.py -d0 --host=deepbit.net --port=8332 --user=xxxxxxx --pass=xxxxxx -v -w 128 --verbose
I also lowered the clocks on my card to minimums to see if that was making things strange.
I also removed the frames flag.

I set the timeout in the python fileBitcoinMiner.py TIMEOUT = 15, I did that after having problems, and I'm still getting problems.
I have the latest git pull from a day ago.

17/03/2011 08:56:34, Stale hash. To reduce stales, use long polling, e.g. latest m0mchil's python miner

I am...

Repeates about every 30 seconds:

I run find for a bit and then get these "errors" and it stops submitting new blocks. I set my timeout to 15. Any ideas?
