Hi everyone I'm really greatful I found this forum I'm more knowledgeable than I was when I impulsively bought this amazon gift card code with the promise of a transaction that would give me BTC at market price. A guy on Localbitcoins had set up a local transaction that he wouldn't escrow and kept insisiting that I just send him the claim code. After that I was contacted by JakeZ who I believe also tried to scam me. I told him I wanted to do the transaction with an escrow service he offered to go through BTCrow I received this email as "confirmation"

It looked suspicious to me I couldnt find a transaction ID to verify with BTCrow so I didnt send him the codes out of fear I was being scammed I now have a 350 dollar Amazon Gift Card physical card purchased legitimately no funny business would just like to get a  decent amount of BTC in return for it. If any senior members can help me out I'd appreciate it

I purchased an amazon gift card after talking with a guy on local bitcoins. After I purchased the card from a store he refused to escrow the transaction and only asked for the claim code which i thought was fishy. I was dealing with another member on here who offered to buy the card using the escrow service btcrow.com but the email I recieved in regards to the transaction had no Transaction ID # inside of it so I assume it was a spoof email. I have 350 dollars on this gift card and would hate to have to sell it for such a small amount of coin on local btc. Can any senior members on here offer me any advice? or maybe get me out of my bitcoin woes and give me a better amount of btc for the card? any help is appreciated I wish i had found these forums sooner

Sorry about having 2 threads it is a legitimately purchased physical card I got in a store. I purchased this card because i was trying to buy bitcoin from someone on local coins he offered me a rate lower than any other form of payment for btc So i put 350 on an amazon card. I quickly realized this guy was scamming me now im stuck with the card and no bitcoins if any members on here can hellp me out id appreciate it Another member on here tried to scam me out of the card by spoofing an email for escrow on btcrow  can a senior member please help me out?
