AndyRossy on the forums here does bank transfer for BTC - tell him I sent you   Cheesy
Not sure what the fees are currently but I think it depends on the order size...

I'll give him a pm now, and mention your name.

Hi Guys!

Was wondering if any of you can advise on the most simple way to get BTC in the UK? MtGox I find very irrating, and the forms of documentation they ask for to get verified (as I wish to do a bank transfer) I don't trust providing online.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers!  Smiley
3  Other / Beginners & Help / Is Intersango the best bitcoin exchange option in the UK? on: September 05, 2012, 07:35:49 PM
And are there any other options worth considering?

Thanks in advance for your help!  Smiley

If you're inside the US, the easiest/cheapest way is TangibleCryptography, as linked above, or Bitfloor.com

Both accept cash deposits at various banks (WF, Chase, BOA) that are credited close to instantly.

Tangible uses MtGox's exchange rate at time of deposit, sometimes with a discount. Bitfloor is a full exchange with an order book.

Both have excellent customer service.

Other services may charge exorbitant fees, so read the fine print before buying anywhere else.

Cheers jwzguy!

I am considering TC's service, it sounds great, but I'm not sure if I want to exchange as much as $500.

I am in the UK. Are there any good options here?

Thanks!  Smiley

Thank-you for all the help so far. Very informative stuff! Smiley

Like some of the other members have mentioned is there a way to purchase BTC's with PayPal?

Also what is Bitinstant?

Thanks for all the help!  Smiley

Hi Everyone!

I am very very new - Just joined a couple of mins ago Smiley

I love the BTC currency, everything it stands for, it's brilliant, I hope things get bigger and bigger, and one day, it will be treated like every other accepted currency in the world!

Just getting to grips with things, and hope some of you kind members will be able to give me some pointers in the right direction!

Have a lovely day and week everybody!

Hi all!

Thank-you for reading this although I am sure the points have been covered many times before!  Wink

1. How do I set up a BTC wallet and back it up?
2. Which trader is the best? MtGox, Intersango, other, I'm in the EU.
3. Is washing coins necessary? If so, how do you go about doing this?

Thank-you very much!
