Once upon a time I worked for a woman that was getting divorced from her husband. They had quite an estate, worth a few million or so..
Anyway the main oil rig company they owned wasn't doing so well and maybe going bankrupt.
She was awarded half of whatever or whatever and put liens against all the properties in his name or however it went and pretty much she had her leans on everything first so it kindof saved all the assets from forfeiture I think..
I do not think that example was done on purpose..
But, could there be some scheme like that going on here? Mintsy did GOX just recently no?

Horus doesn't know anything about what's going on. He doesn't work in wallets and they never tell him anything. All he knows is it is some "technical problem". see... I have never had access to wallets or dev area.
I have tried my best to be respectful of everyone here and answer any questions that I have the answers to. I have never had access to wallets or dev stuff, so I just have info that has been passed down.

Do you by chance have link to the source code of the newest wallet? I can check against ours and see what's up.
Is that not THE definition of "wallets or dev stuff" So Horus... How could you work for a company in good conscience that doesn't tell you anything about such huge/scamlike/goxlike problems and just keep on trucking on doing your job as if it didn't exist? Or have you told them that you don't want to know so you can have your plausible deniability? Are you trying to assure your own plausible deniability about all this by "not knowin nothin"? Or are you just lying to everyone about not knowing what is going on? BTW I personally believe you and jshock and others know exactly what is going on and you are lying to us telling all of us you don't know because you "don't work in that department".. Ah yes, here it is... Thank you Spoetnik.. Marshall Long: Sure. So, you know, Final Hash, we're pretty diverse. But in China exclusively what we're doing is two things. We're helping tape out new chips because miners are feeling the crunch right now for power efficiency on their mining machines and these kind of things. We do a lot of chip tape outs. We do a lot of deployments. We help consultant make things automated for them. Because, I mean, the Chinese business model is let's throw something up and then just hire a bunch of guys to run through the aisles and turn machines off. You know, a lot of folks are feeling the financial squeeze and they're looking to save money on a bunch of different areas.
Since the difficulty is really high. So, we'll come in. We'll implement some software so they don't have to have 20 guys run up and down the aisles of the data center. We also just recently signed some contracts to move a rather large exchange to China. That's an exchange called Cryptsy. So, they're expanding to China to kind of serve this under-served population that's, you know, a billion and a half people that are hungry for something. So, in China I would say it's a lot of hardware stuff, a lot of financial stuff and a lot of folks have problems getting into China just because the economies of scale in China are very different than they are virtually anywhere else so. Marshall Long: It's interesting and this is a big primary pushing mechanism for Cryptsy going to China actually is. This is the first time in history that it's truly easy and openly accessible for anybody to do truly global commerce. So, if I wanted to order something from a US company and I'm in China, outside of customs, regulations and these kinds of things, you can physically order something real-time, instantaneously without having to go through any kind of regulatory roadblocks.
And from a country that's had a full history of full repression economically, financially totalitarianism is a great place to kind of see bitcoin take off. And that coupled with Xi Jinping being -- I'm not going to say an extremely laxed premier, but he's definitely more open to some new opportunities makes it -- outside of China just kind of chopping the internet from the outside.
It's a really interesting case study to see what happens when you suddenly give a totalitarian system and repressed population the open access to really interact with the whole world. Dear Mr. Long, would you care to explain WTF is going on with Cryptsy if you would be so kind? Since you are the CTO and co-founder, and by these statements seem to know things that have been hidden from all us poor folk, you would be of great service to set the record straight in this regard.. |

Be careful submitting an application to these guys, wouldn't it be about the FBI's wet dream to get you to submit a confession to them in the form of a resume?
Smells like cops, I hope not, but from my limited understanding it seems possible/probable..

If everyone is so confident that cryptsy is scamming/going GOX, or at the very least not to be trusted at this time, then why don't all the cryptsy employees BTCtalk profiles have a bunch of glaring red trust?
Did everyone in DT forget or something or do they simply not buy the whole cryptsy-GOX thing?

It's not so much that things are getting "stuck", they're just pending for there to be enough money in the wallet to actually make the transaction. https://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/BTC-e.comCompare that with another exchanges hot wallet, which is constantly being topped up with fresh money from the cold wallet as required and always has sufficient balance to cover even very large withdrawals with tens or hundreds of BTC on hand. So, why is the Cryptsy wallet never getting above dust levels of balance? It's only been above 1BTC a couple of times in the last week, and even then it is instantly drained by users trying to exit. A different takeaway of course is that this reveals that Cryptsy is running like 400 coin daemons on a single server, but that's probably less interesting. Very interesting.. |

It seems to me almost like the 777 and bitvest sig campaigns are suckering/scamming newbies into running around with there tags and then never getting payed.
The terms are that the person has to wear the advert at the time they apply for the position and continue to wear it in order to be admitable, but then they rarely, if ever, receive any sort of response to there application, and don't end up on the document. They advertise that they accept noobs but don't seem to actually accept noobs..
So pretty much they get tricked into advertising for free because it is the only way to hopefully get accepted, which they likely won't..
Or am I missing something here?
