3  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BitInstant Unresponsive, have had my money for a week. on: December 05, 2012, 06:34:04 PM
Hi Sharp,

I'm really sorry you had a bad experience with support. I recall your username and remember responding to all of your emails last week and forwarding your order info over to tech support. Most of our team WAS travelling abroad last week so its very possible that the time difference and travelling has caused a delay. If you'd like to resend me your order information to my direct email: rachel@bitinstant.com, I'd be happy to research your order and personally follow up with our technical support regarding your missing coinapult link.

Best,

Rachel

11  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Welcome Rachel - BitInstant's newest team member on: August 31, 2012, 10:08:21 PM
Thanks for the warm welcomes! Especially 556j!
Let me take some time to address your questions one at a time:

1) I won’t discuss issues of salary other than to say you have your figures wrong and I'm a US citizen so no green card necessary.

2) You don’t seem to know what that word “literally” nor “slave” means. When used correctly "slave" means a person entirely under the domination of some influence or person" For example, "He was a slave to his own insecurities." According to its dictionary definition, "literally" means "exactly, virtually, without exaggeration or inaccuracy" For example, "556j's dick was literally the size of a peanut."

3) I was hired because I was exactly the type of person BitInstant wanted for the role. I have experience both in tech startups, finance, customer service and foreign translation. I also have a sense of humor and a thick skin when it comes from getting flack from haters. And, while my gender wasn't a factor in the hiring process, I happen to have awesome tits.

4) On the Pirate situation: Obvious scam is obvious. New technology should make people's lives easier but people still need to use their brains and common sense.

5) On CoinBase: I’m not aware of their long-term business strategy, but it’s almost certainly better than pirate’s.

6) I think I know what I got involved with. It’s basically PayPal for non-statists, right?

Also, if you’re rude again, don’t expect an answer. Let's keep it classy.

Hi Bitcoiners!

I'm totally delighted to join the BitCoin community and thrilled about becoming part of the BitInstant team! We have some really exciting new projects in the pipeline and I'm looking forward to discussing them here on the forum and answering any upcoming questions you might have. I recently purchased my own bitcoins and I'm really excited to see how this currency and its surrounding technology evolve in the short and long term. I have a background global media, romance languages and communications so I'm looking forward to meeting other Bitcoin enthusiasts around the world. Maybe I'll even get to meet some of you in-person at one of the upcoming BitCoin meetups here in NYC. Looking forward to having some interesting  (if not controversial Wink) discussions here on the Bitcointalk forum and getting involved in the community!
