Are we to the point yet where a small enough percentage of owed BTC is enough to pay off the lawyers/investigators? If not, when will that be? $1000/BTC?

Things have been a bit, um, quiet for BTC Multiplier, but we did survive a few days with a couple thousand plays and the site performed beautifully -- as we knew it would. We now have a (large) page with a flat listing of all our addresses at: http://btcmultiplier.com/games.phpWith this in place we could finally populate our addresses in the blockchain.info tags list. You can see that the vast majority of the tagged addresses on blockchain.info are BTC Multiplier addresses, oops. There's no way around that we can see... http://blockchain.info/tags

I agree, you should not use any kind of random function to generate the game values -- there's plenty of entropy in just the txid+secret combination (the secret can be whatever length you want). Besides, your users will need a deterministic way to prove to themselves that the game is fair -- just like the other sites.

Get crackin' and make your own satoshi dice variable or some other gambling game If only it were that simple. Making the game is only the first step

Made a deposit. Dwolla took the usual week, but Mt Gox processed the Dwolla deposit in only 3 minutes. This was on the order of 10^3 USD

A couple new things for BTC Multiplier since the last update: - Filter the recent game list by address or tx id (useful with custom address from last update)
- We wised up and now use the player's coins to generate their prize transaction
- Clearer status/outcomes listed for games (because folks have been making bets smaller than the tx fee which are obviously not being refunded)
- Our minimum bet remains at 0.01 BTC

my bad... i was doing both .001 and .003 bets lol i think i made something like 3000 bets in the last 48 hours... wasn't doing to terrible either didn't reali ze it was gonna break satoshidice When you play with such small amounts, aren't the transaction fees prohibitively large? Even multiplying those bets by 10 would greatly reduce the percentage of your money going to tx fees.

Custom prize address support has just been added. To use a custom prize address, just add the address as as second recipient in each bet transaction, by sending it 0.00012345 BTC. Using a custom address will help guarantee all your wins count toward your leaderboard standings

Alright, what's the backstory here? This is a fairly common event...

Bitcoind provides a "time" and "timereceived" field for each transaction, even before the block clears... I thought.

While we don't have a full-fledged links section, we did add a link to your site at the bottom of all of our pages on BTCMultiplier. Good idea!

I was using bitcoind to send directly to the address. I can't verify all of the games until more than 24 hours has passed, since the site uses the time of processing to choose the secret used (which it shouldn't, it should use the time recorded in the block chain for the transaction).
I don't know what you mean by "independent," I lost 21 games consecutively. If we round the <32k game to 50% chance of winning, it's like a coin flip, where the chance of flipping heads is 1/2^1, or 1/2. The chance of flipping 2 heads in a row is 1/2^2, or 1/4. That would make my run of 21 losses about a 1/2^21 chance, or 1/2097152.

I've lost the last 21 times I've played the less than 32000 game on BTCDice. I cannot believe that is legitimately possible. What are the odds?

I see the new page up, but you still have "Lorem Ipsum" in the hover text for the column names in the tables at the bottom.

Sorry it's confusing, but for the "Pick 1 B" game, you get a prize if you match 0 digits only. The prizes for each game are listed in the table on the right side of the page.
So if you pick 1 digit, and then click the A, B, and C versions, you see that:
for A: win if you match 1 digit for B: win if you match 0 digits for C: big prize for matching 1 digit, small refund for matching 0 digits

Changes since the last post: - Bigger prizes, up to 50BTC
- Smaller house fee
- Leaderboard display
- Refresh recents/leaders without reloading the whole page
- Slim version of the page
- slightly faster response payments (it was pretty fast already)
If the slim version looks broken, it's just because you're awesome and have previously visited the page. You'll need to clear your browser's cached CSS file (<ctrl-F5>). Thanks!

Dunno about changing your address, but someone posted a full history of GLBSE trades, don't know if it was useful though.
