1  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: *AMAZINGBIT - a brand NEW scam! NOT a PONZI! REAL RETURNS for OUR investors!* on: January 28, 2016, 04:03:37 PM
This one made me laugh, give the guy some props. He did put an effort with the typing, choosing the words and some story behind it. He's having fun obviously, not sure if there's anyone in the right mind who will deposit in those address. Or maybe someone did..

If anyone feels like like they got sufficient lols out of this to throw me a few satoshi, feel free as those are a few of my IRL wallet addresses in the OP (I mainly included "real" ones rather than randomizing so that if anyone had actually got a large enough credit line with the international bank of stupid and dumb to send me anything, I could at least refund them. That's right, like every other "investment scheme" on this site, this one was a total lie - we promised to scam you out of everything but actually we would have completely refunded you. What a rip off!).

That said I wasn't actually interested in making any money out of this. I just clearly have far too much time on my hands Tongue
2  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: *AMAZINGBIT - a brand NEW scam! NOT a PONZI! REAL RETURNS for OUR investors!* on: January 28, 2016, 01:23:26 PM
VERY SAD ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!

Due to circumstances beyond our control (a small monkey opened one of the hard to reach windows and, while unable to personally fit through the gap, was sided by two medium-sized parakeets who flew in and ate the hard disk containing the hotwallet) we will no longer be able to offer -600% ROI as the hotwallet is now empty/forms part of the nests of two medium sized parakeets. Rather than close down and leave our literally non-negative customer base without any recourse, we have decided to revise the ROI from -600% to 0%. This means that all new investors will receive their money back (minus a 99.8-100% transaction fee required to maintain server costs and buy drugs) for the foreseeable future. I can say without reservation that no one is more disappointed than we are apart from all the people who are in fact more disappointed.

On a related note if anyone has a good way of baiting/luring/catching parakeets and then training them to reassemble a hard disk* then please let us know as we would like to resume normal service as swiftly as possible. We have called animal services but they just laugh and laugh, sometimes for several hours without pausing, and with calls to their number cost three dollars a minute this has pushed us further into financial difficulties.

*For security reasons, rather than using a physical hard disk we just got a guy to write down all of the relevant ones and zeroes on a big pad of paper. He assured us that the order wasn't important and could be changed later so our hard disk was essentially just several hundred thousand ones followed by a roughly similar number of zeroes. The good news is that Gary tells us that the parakeet break-in and hard-disk nest misappropriation has probably actually brought the contents of the pad closer to accuracy, increasing the integrity of the hard disk (if it weren't spread across the branches of two very tall trees inhabited by birds who can actually bite much harder than you'd think an animal that size could. Again, though, it's not all bad news: I may have lost a thumb and most of my index finger but I gained three surprisingly delicious eggs and a piece of paper which ultimately turned out to contain nuclear launch codes for one of the dozen or so nuke-capable states, we think probably France as the penmanship was quite exquisite.)

Again, our apologies and we will update you as soon as the site is once again a fully functioning scam. Until then please do not stop sending donations - many of us have children, drug habits and children with drug habits, all of which present a substantial overhead that can only be covered by your feckless naivety.

First of all 600% in 18hours really?. Do you think we are fools .
Actually, before this thread, I didn't think that many of you were fools but this has been a real learning curve.
4  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: *AMAZINGBIT - a brand NEW scam! NOT a PONZI! REAL RETURNS for OUR investors!* on: January 26, 2016, 11:06:18 PM
I'm sorry I can't tell if all this is sarcasm or not.

Usually I can tell when a thread is fake or not and when people are joking around but this one is interesting. Of course I would never, ever send my money here but I am getting mixed signals as to whether the admin is serious or not based on his comments.

Anyone else feel the same way?

I think you are going to look back at this post with a huge amount of regret in a few weeks. I will admit this can't be sustainable for the long term - not with the number of subscribers we are getting, and the rate of reinvestment (I have been somewhat disingenuous in that I was a at a CC convention last week and let people there into the secret during a private lecture - some of the guys from there are on their 4th or 5th runthrough. I don't need to tell you that -500 to the power of 5 = -3125% of what they started out with!).

Luckily we have a strong system in place which not only copes with people coming back for more, but actually relies on it - the volatility alone can be enough to keep things ticking over. But we do need new subscribers, we dropped under 20kBTC today for a little while which was scary!

Because we want to give back to the BITCOIN community from whom we have taken so, so much.

And the only way to ensure the people we reward are true bitcoiners is by having them send us huge amounts of Bitcoin.

AMAZINGBTCIT - INCREDIBLE RETURNS: -600% IN JUST 18 HOURS!!

PLAY AS MANY TIMES AS YOU WANT!!!

NO MINIMUM DEPOSIT!

NO MAXIMUM DEPOSIT - Give US as much of YOUR money as YOU want and watch it GO OVERNIGHT!

JUST follow these five simple STEPS and MAKE internet **MILLIONAIRES** overNIGHT!!!

Step 1:

Choose YOUR investment level - our minimum investment level starts at just 0.0000001 BTC our maximum is 124,467,725.0000000 BTC - YOU choose how much of YOUR money to SEND US!

Step 2:

Send YOUR initial investment - however big or small - to:

1MgTKvd1bNM573QBeHNHDvDmX6Q7y7DAT

You could start with as little as 100 BTC, 10 BTC or just 1 BTC - but remember, in just 18 short hours you will have made a -600% ROI - these kind of returns can ONLY be found at AMAZINGBTCIT!!!!!!!!!1!!

Step 3:

Now for the hard part - this is what makes our investment platform so unique. For step 3, wait 6 hours. Many of our most successful investors spend this time counting their toes (can YOU count them all?) or staring at a clock on the wall, beads of sweat GLISTENING on their forehead as the seconds seem to move somehow ever slower.

Once the six hours is up take the same amount of Bitcoin you chose in step one, double it and send it to:

1Nj3kLeFEgJUVVqv7BVzu2RoGaBEVnqpxe

Write this number down - you'll need it for the final step

Congratulations, Big Shot! You just made -300% ROI in just 6 hours!

Step 4:

This step really sorts the men from the boys, also the women from the girls and the humans from any animals that may have wandered off the street*.

After spending another 6 hours staring intently at a crack in the wall (is it growing?) or up into the endless skies, watching the clouds roll over your indifferent form, get ready for some serious math!

Take the number you chose in step one, then add it to the number you wrote down in step 3. You will probably need to use an abacus to help you with this - most convenience stores will rent you one for just a few hundred dollars, or you can try the online abacus here: http://www.online-calculator.com/online-abacus/

Check your calculations thoroughly. I like to run mine through the Tianhe-2 supercomputer hidden deep inside China's ministry of defence. It's usually running simulated nuclear tests of the effect of surprise atomic attacks on US cities, but you can quit these programs by turning the machine off and on again at the wall.

Once you're sure the number is accurate, send the bitcoins to:

17mJ81zQ3fb8aJ6m9YtBxtuLcFNo8n9Wia[

You did it champ - you made -600% ROI in just a few hours! What a pro!

*Accurate sorting of gender, age and livestock not guaranteed. AMAZINGBTC takes no responsibility for misplaced pets, children or elderly relatives

Step 5:

Finally, spend another 6 hours thinking about your life. Think about all the people you let down and the mistakes you made. Remember the person you felt yourself falling in love with all those years ago, but were too afraid to do anything about? I wonder what they're doing now. I wonder if they're happy. Do you hope they are?

Hey sport, time's up! Now go back to step one and keep the cash rolling in - you'll have made a millionaire in no time!

FAQ

1.) How can AMAZINGBTC afford such incredible ROIs for their investors? It seems too good to be true!

First of all, AMAZINGBTC saves a huge amount on overhead by not hiring developers or having any kind of site at all - and those savings go right into investors profits! But wait, there's more!

While we can't give away all our secrets, the AmazingBTC system relies on a state of the art scripting system that exploits a core weakness in the Bitcoin system - specifically the Significant Cumulous Avarice of Many (SCAM) bug, which causes irrational flocking behaviour amongst those attempting to make money from the... uh never mind. We use bots. It's all done with bots.

2.) If your bots are so amazing, why do you need our money?

We don't! We're just really generous and want to spread the wealth.

3.) Then why not just send us the money, or give it to the poor?

Shut up.

I hope this answers any questions you have about AMAZINGBTC. We guarantee some people are going to make an absolute fortune from this system!
10  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: CoinDouble | Double your BTC in 100 hours | Instant Payments | Ref. system 10% on: December 27, 2015, 04:43:46 AM
Yup, mine stopped paying too... just a few payments away from profit too. Still at least that means minimal loss (on a minimal investment). Obvious ponzi but there's sometimes money to be made i you get in early enough. Looks like I didn't  Sad
11  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: DoubleBot.com - The only one place to double your BTC with a 100% guarantee. on: November 21, 2015, 09:54:05 AM
Hmm, it all sounds a little suspect to me. I'm guessing you can only cash out when it hits 100%?

Anyone here have that happen, how much did they invest, what did they get back and how long did it take?
12  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: DoubleBot.com - The only one place to double your BTC with a 100% guarantee. on: November 21, 2015, 08:50:09 AM
It sounds like returns are highly variable and dependent on initial investment. I expect there has been an answer to this *somewhere* in the 50 or so pages of thread available here, but is there a sweet spot for investment? If so, what is it? And what is the current expected ROI?

Also I saw on another part of the site that doublebot is listed as "saturated"... does that mean it's about to close? or what's the deal?

Thanks in advance, sorry if this is common knowledge but I tried searching for an answer to no avail Sad
13  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: ▶[170k+ Paid] Cryptex.io Investment Wallet - 0.5%-0.8% Hourly + 10% Affiliate ◀ on: November 21, 2015, 03:30:35 AM

You still don't get the situation here i guess. Most of the sites on this sub-section (Investor-based games), are probably owned by a few serial scammers. It's not hard to notice from their speech context and the way they compose the OP thread and giveaways , etc. This has now been going on for a very very long-time. I didn't scream scam at first, as you can see i only tagged OPs profile recently when the amounts of issues started to pile up.

They are all a ponzi scheme, if its not, why would he need to sell his script to recover ? If they're legitimately making an income , then they wont come up with this hacked and other utter nonsense of an excuse to keep stalling payments
Look up what a ponzi scheme actually is. If these guys were, as you claim, professional, experienced scam artists they wouldn't make so many rookie mistakes. I have never and will never run a ponzi scheme, and I would have made 10x the amount of cash these guys have.

As for them selling the script: if one of my major developers had just defrauded me I'd be trying to sell my script before he did too. It's going to end up out there anyway, so why not sell it (hey, by all means show how they're selling it etc. - hell I have the money, I'll buy it).

A real scam wouldn't suddenly stop *all* payments like this - scammer or not it'd cost the operators $$$. There are a million better ways to run both a scam and a legit investment platform - the one and only reason for this kind of behaviour is technical fault and/or insider malfeasance. Otherwise it's A.) not worth the risk/reward ratio (unless these guys were like living on the streets before B.) a terrible way to run a scam. The site still links here - here! - a place where everyone is smugly calling a site with a few problems a ponzi scheme. The admin would at least come online to try and reassure people - a few hundred words of prose could mean a huge amount of extra cash. Instead he is probably off somewhere 1.) furiously trying to plug the holes in the actual site 2.) having a minor nervous breakdown as s/he watches several months of work fall apart because of a few bad apples.

Ironically, the admin does badly need to get on here and explain what's taking so long - even though the very fact they haven't is proof positive to me they aren't a professional level scammer. That and rookie stuff like *all* payments suddenly stopping (you'd have to be stupid to run a scam that ended like that - it's just too obvious and awful timing, right when people like me are building the confidence to invest big money!).

Once they've got their wallet and security issues sorted they'll start paying again. Again, just my opinion, and one I'm not backing up with my crypto till I see my money on the table (3 hours BTW and still 'pending' - I'll let you know when it changes and I reinvest).

Edit: If the situation hasn't changed within the next 72 hours I'm going to take my 6.5 BTC and put it somewhere else. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good investment platform? I am sick of my money gathering dust in cold storage.
14  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: ▶[170k+ Paid] Cryptex.io Investment Wallet - 0.5%-0.8% Hourly + 10% Affiliate ◀ on: November 21, 2015, 12:59:58 AM

Firstly, the insider part was just a part of the scheme to slow things down and gain sympathy.

Owners of sites like this will disappear immediately when they see that much coins in their wallet. Some even flee with 1btc. So yeah, end of the day everyone knows the risk so RIP cryptex.io lol
Roll Eyes Again, do the math - it's just not worth it for them to walk away with such a small amount, particularly when the site was growing *exponentially* prior to this!

But, as I say, I'm smart enough to do due diligence - I've now made my withdrawl, as of about 30 minutes ago. It's pending. I'm going on holiday tomorrow - will check back regularly to see if this TX works. At the moment there has been a 24 hour delay since the last withdrawal but people are acting like they haven't been paying out for weeks. If I was the admin I'd be tearing my hear out trying to get the problems fixed so that people stop saying things that have the potential to ruin a platform I spent weeks working on.

I just get the feeling people on here don't understand how A.) Web development or B.) Ponzi schemes work. You don't engage in a criminal enterprise of this magnitude then run just when people were starting to invest larger and larger sums. It just doesn't make financial or temporal sense. In code terms they'd be working for less than minimum wage, and risking their livelihoods and freedom to do so. It'd be like spending 36 hours robbing a 7/11 for loose change!

Will the site ever pay out again? Maybe not. But if it doesn't, there's a decent chance that it'll be because people like you took one look at an introductory offer (0.8% an hour) and screamed "scam!", making the site unworkable because they were likely paying 90% + of their profits out as ROI with these introductory offers.

Cryptocurrencies (like all currencies) require trust in order to work. I agree with everyone else on here - wait till they've been paying out for a day or two before investing anything more. But a 24 hour blip does not = Ponzi scheme!
15  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: ▶[170k+ Paid] Cryptex.io Investment Wallet - 0.5%-0.8% Hourly + 10% Affiliate ◀ on: November 20, 2015, 10:52:28 PM
Really frustrated at the moment. To me it's fairly obvious what has happened:

The site got scammed by an insider. They are having to review every payment manually which is causing huge delays. I had planned on making a pretty big investment (6.5 BTC) the day they stopped paying out. I've written to the admins explaining the situation and, well, as I've said before: if they are scammers they are doing it pretty badly. I think it's more likely that the site has experienced technical and security issues and, the moment they begin paying out again (not the moment someone posts "I got a payout!" on here, but the moment I've confirmed it personally) I'll be reinvesting everything + my other capital. I've had

What's not helping is everybody screaming "Ponzi! Ponzi!" like fire in a crowded theatre. It's basically created the equivalent of a bank run - they can't pay out everyone all at once, a lot of the money is tied up in ongoing transactions, so the admins are scared & slowing down payouts until things stabilise.

Am I worried about my BTC? Sure. But I'm also not as panicky as a lot of people on this forum - I invested a small fraction of my capital, have gotten most of it back and am itching to reinvest. However, the current security issues (some of which are actually being exacerbated by the rush to judgement on here) are crippling the platform.

I'll say it one more time: if it's a scam, it's a terrible one. The amount "stolen" is a pittance compared to what a developer of this caliber could make doing "honest" work, without the risk of ending up in jail. Actually sit down and do the math - even if the withdrawals are overstated (either due to bad coding or deliberately) the site runners have walked away with a couple of grand at most - before you factor in their time, dividing the spoils etc. etc.

Am I depositing any more in Cryptex? Not until I've seen people getting paid out (myself included). I don't advise anyone else to either. I'll be making my withdrawal within the next 24 hours - after that I'm on holiday. If I get paid, I'm reinvesting. If not, well, I was careful to only invest a tiny fraction of my capital anyway, so I'll just get on with life.

Either way I'll report back here with the outcome. My expectation? Next time I report back to you I'll be the biggest investor on the site, and a week after that I will have made thousands in returns. Until then, stay safe out there Smiley
16  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Deposit bonuses @ Cryptex! Up to 10% on top of your investment on: November 18, 2015, 04:08:07 PM
GUYS it appears that you missed the post that the site is not currently paying, so why are you still depositing and asking for the bonus ?  Mindless sheep.

Deposits include re-investment of ROI, so there's actually no risk if that's what you're doing.

Either A.): It's a scam, you're not getting that ROI back anyway, it doesn't matter whether you reinvest.
or
B.) It's not a scam, so you get the bonus.

While I wouldn't recommend making new deposits until we know for sure what's going on (the problem started at around 1 AM if you live in California, so there's a decent chance the admins didn't know about it until very recently because people sleep) I'm waiting to at least hear from an admin. As I said before if this is their way of scamming, they're doing it pretty badly - withdrawls aren't showing up at all (rather than showing up as "pending" which is what a sensible scammer would do). It's also kind of early for it - a lot of time (which = money) went into the website and the deposit amounts have been increasing steadily. If you sit down and look at how much they actually have to "steal" I don't see it being particularly worth their while, but if anyone has information to the contrary please feel free to post evidence.

Edit: (for BTC) Total deposits - total withdrawls leaves them with about 3 BTC. That's a whopping £700 in UK money. Yes, they've collected LTC and Doge etc. etc. but the ratios are about the same (and obviously those currencies are worth far less). IMHO you don't spend a large amount of time and money on a project (and risk potential lawsuits and/or criminal charges) for those kind of returns.

Prove me wrong, kids. Prove me wrong.

As for all the people crying "scam" - well, it looks as though the last withdrawl was at about 9 AM this morning, GMT. That's certainly cause for concern - would love to hear from one of the admins as to why withdrawls aren't working at the moment.

What I will say is that if this is *is* a scam it seems very odd/foolish to include a link on the main page to a site which will immediately warn you about that (particularly when the bonuses could have been made automatic - including this extra layer only makes sense if you care whether people redeem their bonus, which you wouldn't do if you're not going to pay up anyway!)
