Its time we revealed what all these Pirate investment programs really are. The inner workings of BS&T may* have been leaked in what appears to be an botched attempted audit by pirate. There is immense work load maintaining these investment strategies. In the following weeks many more people will be coming out of the woodwork attempting to emulate BS&T and it looks like they will make the same mistakes.

A Little background on me; I do financial analysis for a small family owned investment firm. I have a M.S. in Forensic Accounting from University of Albany. I also do contract work with P.I’s as well.*

It appears Pirate actually kept very good records; And I have to admit a lot of what he was doing is rather clever. He is using some intrinsic principles of bitcoin and applying them to highly specialized markets. However by attempting to maintain his interest payouts in such a dynamic system he was making payments when he really had no idea on his standings.  It is true he was making between 2 and 18pct and his proof of work is sound; on average would this would make his 7pct payouts profitable. However these workings are arbitrage strategies and cannot scale.
Recently we have the black pearl attempting to push the payouts even higher.  The pirate trading techniques™ are simply applying Disciplined hedge fund principles in a rather clever way.

I want to put this to rest, and I will do it by showing a proof of work. I will be running a similar program and at the end of a solid 30day period I will be releasing my entire transaction history with a rather lengthy write up appropriately titled “Pirate investment strategies” at the end of 30days I will be transferring full control of all the accounts to the largest account holder.  Any account holding over 10btc will be a partner and entitled to an Annual Financial statement. The future of the holdings will be in the hands of the new Caption.

The most important part, I will be making Interest payments at the end of each investment not on a constant basis. You will see how much is coming in and be able to make decisions off that data.  This can be multiple times a week or none at all. It could be as low as 2pct of your investment or as high at 22pct.
Now the cool part; I allow donations under 10btc to go into a slush pool. Large account holders get the majority of my time; but if at any time I’m short I will be using this slush fund and 80pct of interest  will get paid right back out to them.

It is worth noting that my software does organize these from high to low. Therefore accounts that are smaller will get filled last. Although there will be times I will need everything I can get. Accounts under 10btc can expect small payouts of interest a couple times a week. Simply donate money into the slushfund and I will make payments back to the sent address. Watch your coins on the blockchain and you can finding out a lot of what is going will demonstrate how this all works.

I will keep people informed Via PM if you are the largest account holder. The first Mate
TL;DR Investment fund; The only promise is ill reveal  exactly how I spent the money. I accept all donations and payout interest randomly.

PM or email for your private deposits.

*may, or may not be of factually basis. Investors beware

hmm, well you made me take a second look. History of the Ninja – Sun Tzu

"The ninja were fundamentally intelligence spies, not warriors, and carried out most of their activities during peacetime. Even if there were no major wars going on, the rulers always needed to have reliable intelligence because there were always conflicts in the court and among local monarchs. In approximately the 6th century A.D."

James Bond was bad ass, but still worked for the government.

Satoshi Nakamoto was clearly a pirate. Ninja's work for the government while Satoshi clearly wanted to take down the government

"    Yes, [we will not find a solution to political problems in cryptography,] but we can win a major battle in the arms race and gain a new territory of freedom for several years.

Governments are good at cutting off the heads of a centrally controlled networks like Napster, but pure P2P networks like Gnutella and Tor seem to be holding their own.[4]

It's very attractive to the libertarian viewpoint if we can explain it properly. I'm better with code than with words though."

5  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Debit Card! on: August 30, 2012, 08:19:17 PM
This trick in BTC dept cards more vendors don't want Bitcoin. Bitinstant.com wants to do this at market rate on each transaction. There is also going to be fee's but this is understandable due to the risks involved. Especially due to the charge back problem of using MasterCard.

getting bitcoin to put MasterCard out of business is going to be next step. Its going to take the ability for vendors to get dollars into there bank account without all these fee's.

ie. Transaction goes on the network and instantly some one buys up those coins and deposits cash into vendors account.
