1  Economy / Currency exchange / Looking to buy 10 BitCoins with my CAD on: September 05, 2012, 02:42:15 AM
Hi everyone, I am somewhat new to the BitCoin world and I am in need of purchasing 10 BitCoins with my Canadian currency. I do not have the time/will power to mine, or go through one of the website's like MtGox's registration procedure. If anyone around here is willing to do business with me please SEND ME A PRIVATE MESSAGE!
Thanks.

PM me and we can work something out...I am kind of new to using BitCoins so I do not feel like going through a whole mining procedure nor do I want to waste my time trying to find a trusted BitCoin site (or waste my time signing up on MtGox). Anyways if you can help me just send me a private message.
Thanks.

I am looking for a trusted buyer with whom I can exchange Canadian Dollars for BitCoins.

I recently responded in another thread:

You can deposit cash at Royal Bank, Bank of Montreal or ScotiaBank, and it will be credited to your account at CA VirtEx, generally same day I believe.

I heard you can use VirWox to buy linden dollars with a credit card and convert it to bitcoins, can anyone confirm this and/or tell me how?

That is possible, but that method too is not immediate.  I believe there is at least a 1-day delay after the payment is processed before the SLLs are received.

There is one method that might work.  BitcoinNordic accepts funds using CashU.  CashU funds can be purchased online in Canada from a couple online merchants:

Apparently, KashU funds can be purchased in Canada as well.  KashU is another funding method for use in paying for a CashU transaction:

I don't know those methods well, so I'm not sure if it is a fast transaction.  The fees aren't necessarily pretty either.

You might also find a local trade:

There are multiple options:

I've looked at those sites on en.bitcoin.it and either it is WAY to much effort to register on sites like MtGox, or it is a scam. Thanks for the insight though I will look further into your suggestions.

Very few users accept Paypal from new users without feedback. If you find a Bitcoin seller that accepts Paypal, you will likely have to pay a higher cost due to the risk of chargebacks.

well im not looking to pay for someone else's rude actions, if i can provide any evidence that i can be trusted, i will gladly do my best in order to gain someone's trust. unfortunately, when the motto is "trust no one" it's hard to get started when you don't have any will power to mine or go through a whole process of signing up on MtGox.
