I am using electrum 1.01-e (windoze flatfly compact build, )
I was not able to connect to any server due to some reason(possibly firewall problem, note icon was red, blocks -1)
thomasv from IRC told me to manually change <connect to > field to
electrum.novit.ro:8081:h

it worked and network went green

now my question:

I didnt set any passwords with electrum client. I cannot change existing passwords (there are two pwd areas, one is python other is wallet encryption area)
are there some default passwords?

what happens if receiving wallet is disconnected and stays like that for some time. (lets say for 1 month)
does the sent BTCs bounce or be lost?
are they automatically received once receiving wallet is brought back online. (I mean bitclient with that particular wallet is connected to internet)

yesterday I downloaded bitcoin client (regular one) and started to syncronize to network. Blocks remaining was dropping very fast. Now nearly 12 hrs passed and now remaning block numbers decrease very slowly. (it didnt hang, changing)
why is that? any idea
