1  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoins safe? on: February 22, 2016, 02:22:28 PM
Bitcoin is absolutely the safest and pseudo-anonymous currency so far related to your FIAT currency. Looking at your op I feel that you have some intentions of trading illegal goods since you are highly concerned with FBI freezing your accounts. If thats your intention then I would suggest you to stop doing that in first place. Because just like any regular transaction can be tracked, bitcoin transactions can also be tracked if you scan your savings address on walletexplorer.com
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving Party 2016 on: February 22, 2016, 02:21:49 PM
I think the price will increase if there's demand that is not met really, halving will impact other areas but not sure if it will translate quite literally like you said...  Grin
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: February 22, 2016, 02:20:58 PM
I believe storing them in my computer in an ordinary bitcoin core wallet, I don't think it is more vulnerably as long as the computer and my connection is kept secure enough both physically from eavesdropping or from Trojans etc...
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: United we stand, divided we fall - the coming rise of cryptofiat on: February 19, 2016, 11:29:06 AM
With the current fiat system the government can not only monitor the flow of money but they do not necessarily need to tell a suspect of a crime the extent of the evidence against him (or what the government may be able to uncover in the future) which would give a suspect an incentive to confess if they have committed a financial crime. Bitcoin takes that possibility and this is really an important thing to be considered.
5  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: February 19, 2016, 11:27:50 AM
I think Bitcoin without regulations make it unsafe when you compare with banking system. But 2008 - 2011 crises show us nowhere is safe. At this point I have seen more Bank failures then bitcoin. Money stored in Banks are not 100% yours to begin with. Citizens of Cyprus and Greece learned this truth the hard way.I don't want to be another victim of approaching economic crisis when my money will be grabbed to fix national economy or something. And crisis  will come, sooner or later and hit harder than the last one in 2009. That is for sure.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: February 18, 2016, 01:00:25 PM
Weel, many people have cash that they need.  Some people do not even know what Bitcoins.  Anda lot of businesses need the credit or lending from the bank, whitout bank a lot of businesses would not exist. Sad but true, most of the people in almost every country  is still dependent on fiat and they know what to do with it and how to run it, but bitcoins, they may know this, but still they are more interested on fiat, so they really need the bank. Actually this has always been the way. the traditional ways of living are hard to change, people tend to stick to those familiar ways and not be willing to change it unless something really beneficial comes along that makes it easy to switch. but bitcoin is not at that stage yet...  Lips sealed

Online wallets like block chain or coinbase are safe only but still hackers are scamming in online wallets. Better you would go ahead with offline wallets, paper or cold storage to keep it safe. That is the thing i know online wallets can be unsafe but i have had a small amount in blockchain.info since i started here. I say small but we are talking a couple of btc. If you have just a small amount then as you say they are safe enough. When you get to 5 and above btc that is when send to cold storage just to be sure. If you have good security and dont surf and download from dodgy sites all will be ok. I only leave on exchanges what i could lose, they could run at anytime..

If the answers for the above post are positive, how many accouts would you give for a full member with neutral trust and good post history? How many accounts of which pot. rank?
9  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [A huge library books] Invitation MyAnonamouse for 10$ on: February 12, 2016, 11:07:37 AM
Just a heads up, invites to MyAnonamouse are very easy to be found anywhere, so you should try and sell it a little cheaper if you really want to do it. Waffles invites are sold here for as low as 3$.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How big is a bitcoin? on: February 12, 2016, 11:04:58 AM

analogy:
a bank note is just a piece of special paper.. on its own its useless.. without special words connected to it to validate that it is a bank note... its just paper

This is perfect analogy not just for the "size" discussion but for the whole definition of bitcoin and cryptos itself. Well done, sir!  Grin
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are so many cryptos good for the world? Or is it better to have only a few? on: February 12, 2016, 11:03:29 AM
Well, I think the more we have people thinking about digital currency, the better. Obviously only a few coins will survive, and what dictates which one will survive is how useful and innovative it is.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin trusted to put your real money on: February 12, 2016, 11:02:20 AM
If you think about some currencies that today have a ultra high inflation rate, bitcoin becomes a pretty safe way to store value without losing it to inflation.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: February 12, 2016, 11:01:24 AM
Mostly on blockchain and electrum wallets. In my electrum i only store BTC i will save. The blockchain wallet is for purchases and gambling.
14  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you wish you could buy with btc ? on: February 12, 2016, 10:59:35 AM
I just read in an article that some guy in Finland bought a new Tesla car for 140 thousand euros paid in BTC. Just makes you save up more every day and chase your dreams.  Lips sealed
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Ad Networks? on: February 10, 2016, 06:27:56 PM
You should try a-ads.com, it's old and legit paying bitcoin ad company.

I can verify that, used their listing for about 2 months to promote a casino site and it worked very well for me! :Cheesy
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Donald Trump On Bitcoin? on: February 10, 2016, 06:26:56 PM
I know Trump is anti-establishment and he seems to hate Wallstreet, but that doesn't mean he will like Bitcoin.
Would be really interesting to know what he thinks about it, however my gut feeling is not a good one.

How come a billionaire is anti-establishment? This is all just branding to reach for a larger political spectrum... beware, Trump is much closer to radical conservatives than to anti-establishment politics.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The year is 2148... [The Poll] on: February 10, 2016, 06:25:28 PM
 Doing nothing. Let it self-regulate

I knew it!

just let the natural market laws, offer and demand, regulate it!

That's the smooth way to freedom.

19  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Bots de trade on: February 04, 2016, 11:37:48 AM
