1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: July 12, 2016, 07:05:17 PM
Hey guys just a quick heads up for the Dinamo Zagreb vs Vardar match because it has already started and now it's the time to bet live if you can. I think it's a value bet to take Zagreb to win this match because they are a really solid team and I believe they have a chance to achieve an away victory today. Also I think there will be under goals so an away win and under 2.5 goals is a very good pick for this match I reckon.
2  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Dice games are a rip off and illegal avoid this shit on: July 12, 2016, 06:49:38 PM
Mate this is the Internet where kids are adult Bitcoin gamblers who can spend their coins from the signature campaigns at reputable online Bitcoin casinos so who cares what they are doing with their digital money in their spare time when they are not doing their homework? Does it matter if they are rolling dice or betting on horses or buying games on Steam? Kids have been gambling with Counter Strike skins and TF2 hats for ages and now you are worried about their lives  Grin
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Anonymous Enough For You? on: July 12, 2016, 05:54:59 PM
Actually paper money is the ultimate anonymous method of payment because there is no trail left after the cash has changed hands while with digital currencies like Bitcoin there will be always hints and traces left online for people to trace back to the original owner. But anyways the degree of anonymity of Bitcoin is not a major concern unless you are making illegitimate deals or something haha. Bitcoin is anonymous enough for online gambling and dark web market shopping and for everything else there is a Master card  Grin
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Fucking Chinese on: July 12, 2016, 04:55:09 PM
they own cheap eletricity
Oil is oil.  Coal is coal.  They pay the same price for energy as everyone else.  The only reason the electricity is so cheap is because they have not concerns at all about fucking up the environment with pollution and in Sweden they don't like fucking up the Earth.

The entire planet pays a price for that 'cheap' mining in China.  That is for sure.

Do you think the global warming is in part caused by the Bitcoin mining factories in China? I have just read an article saying that we just broke the record for the hottest year nine times in succession and I think this is a very big concern for the entire world because the Chinese are not just screwing with their own population and environment but their money-hungry economy is prioritizing the profit over the wellbeing of the planet which will lead to a disaster for the future generations. Maybe the sci-fi movies will become a reality real soon  Shocked
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: EU seeks tighter control over cryptocurrency on: July 12, 2016, 03:59:56 PM
Actually I am not worried about these changes because I am accustomed to providing my identification documents upon checkout for many years now and adhering to the identity checking policies of different companies is not such a big pain in the butt anyways. Of course Bitcoin is supposed to be anonymous and promote the freedom of money but governments have rules in place to follow the flow of money and Bitcoin although digital money still falls into this category and officials need to investigate the origins of money coming from Bitcoin deposits and withdrawals. I would love to see more over-the-counter selling of Bitcoin vouchers without the need to provide personal ID for purchase though.
6  Other / Off-topic / Re: What If Pokémon Go Integrated Bitcoin? on: July 12, 2016, 03:45:24 PM
Pokemon Go has topped all game charts and is the most popular mobile game in all the countries it has been released in so far and caused the stock price of Nintendo to increase to 13%+ in a matter of days which is incredible in itself. However I don't think that Apple or Google will let people buy stuff in the game with Bitcoin because their app stores are a closed ecosystem where people can't use external payment methods and sadly I can't see Bitcoin getting included any time soon if ever. I think only Microsoft have allowed the use of Bitcoin in their Windows store though.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase banned Germany & Luxembourg on: July 07, 2016, 01:37:59 PM
Wait is Localbitcoins really banned in Germany? Is the German government going to ban the use of Bitcoin in  the country or are they waiting to legalize it or something? I thought it was pretty easy to set up a person-to-person exchange of coins against cash. I guess people in Germany still trade Bitcoins for cash among themselves right?
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If gambling is illegal in your country, would you still gamble? on: July 07, 2016, 10:37:02 AM
In some countries online gambling is only allowed at licensed casino and sportsbook websites and with the boom of the Bitcoin gambling phenomenon some people prefer to play at Bitcoin counterparts due to less stringent registration procedures and no ID required for withdrawing funds. However if gambling is banned in physical and online casinos in the country I would probably not bother to use VPN or other methods to get access because the risk of going to jail is very real. But Bitcoin is still unlicensed and people who need to get their gambling fix fast can enjoy betting with coins instead.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: July 07, 2016, 08:48:13 AM
France put out a nice show against Iceland but the German squad is on whole new level and I don't think they will just let France waltz in and take the victory so easily despite being the host country and all the fans are expecting that France will reach the final. On the contrary, France will be very desperate to win and they will be nervous probably making mistakes throughout the match and Germany could capitalize on that. I fancy betting on Germany to win and under 2.5 goals.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you had suddenly 500 BTC on: July 07, 2016, 08:28:06 AM
If I needed to exchange 500 Bitcoins into cash I would stay away from the Bitcoin exchanges and look for private buyers instead. It would be easier to deposit $250 000 in cash later on and say that you have won that amount gambling online than trying to explain the origin of the money deposited to your bank account after using an exchange because this could raise some red flags very quickly and people may think you are laundering money or something.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [2016-07-05] coindesk.com| The Bitcoin Halving Will Trigger a Fear of Missing on: July 07, 2016, 07:09:46 AM
If people start selling off their stashed coins the halved block reward will pretty much not affect the Bitcoin market because there will be still enough coins in circulation and there will be no shortage in supply thus the demand will be the same I guess. I don't think that the price will increase a lot after the halving though. We have to keep in mind that there is a whole lot more Bitcoins stored in wallets that could enter the market at any time and crash the price again.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Euro 2016 on: July 05, 2016, 09:04:15 AM
Portugal is the only team that has reached the semi-finals without winning a single game in regulation time. I don't know if this is the first instance something like that has happened or another team has achieved a similar result but surely the new Euro format for the group stage elimination has helped make this possible  Cheesy I have a feeling that Portugal will tie up the game with Wales again and everything will be decided in the extra time and probably a penalty shoot-out.
13  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: July 05, 2016, 08:35:48 AM
If I were given the chance to receive my salary in the form of Bitcoin deposits I would not agree with that option. Bitcoin is too volatile right now and the amount I am paid monthly could vary too much if converted into Bitcoin and I might end up not having enough money to cover my bills or other expenses like food, clothes etc. Bitcoin might take an unexpected dip in price and I could not cover any urgent expenses if I have got less money than I would normally have should I have been paid in fiat. Personally I would prefer to get paid in fiat and invest a portion in the Bitcoin market.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the best thing to trade on: July 05, 2016, 07:31:16 AM
Guys we must remember that Bitcoin crashed hard after it reached that $1200 all time high and that history can repeat itself again this time around too. Bitcoin is a highly volatile asset and the price can go up or down overnight incurring huge losses to investors. There is no certainty about what the price will be at tomorrow or a week from now because it fluctuates likes crazy. Also a massive panic sell will see the price crashing down again. All I am saying is that Bitcoin might be the most profitable thing to trade right now, but people need to do this trading with caution.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Are Just Too Stupid to Use Bitcoin Right Now on: July 05, 2016, 06:35:54 AM
I do not think they are too stupid for using the bitcoin, the most are just way too scared to do it in my eyes.
They are scared to lose money with investing into the bitcoin itself, I'm really thinking this.

This is probably the biggest mistake most newcomers to Bitcoin make when they dabble in the crypto currency market for the first time. Bitcoin is not necessarily an investment vehicle, it can be perfectly used as a digital currency should one desire to use it as such. It seems the majority of people think of Bitcoin like it represents the stock market and the fluctuating price makes them uneasy to get involved with the Bitcoin market.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NEver keep all your coins on an exchange on: July 05, 2016, 06:21:22 AM
The Mt.Gox debacle affected a lot of users and I think almost everyone who was using Bitcoin at that time had deposited something there. It's not like the most trusted and popular Bitcoin exchanges nowadays are not susceptible to hacking incidents because anything could happen ranging from inside jobs to legitimate security breaches. And also if your current exchange hasn't had any problems till now that doesn't mean it won't have in the future so only hold amounts that you can afford to lose.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People deserve to lose their Bitcoins ? on: July 02, 2016, 11:15:16 AM
It's true that people need to be very careful with what they are letting the Bitcoin exchanges hold on their behalf, but I think the problem of having no trust in the Bitcoin community needs to be addressed as fast as possible. Why should we always worry about losing our money if left unsupervised at some exchange or online service? I would like my Bitcoin funds to be secure at whatever company I choose to do business with and I hope this rampant 'hacking' scenario is no more allowed to happen because it's simply preposterous.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you allow the Government to look into your bitcoin wallets? on: July 02, 2016, 09:35:31 AM
What I am doing with my Bitcoin and where I am keeping it is my own business. Isn't this the whole purpose of Bitcoin in the first place? For people to be free of government watchdogs looking over your every step and spying on you every single day? But I guess Bitcoin getting legalized will mean getting it centralized as well and then unfortunately the government will have the legal right to audit your private Bitcoin wallets for tax purposes. But until then we can still enjoy our privacy or whatever is left of it...
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is CHINA CONTROLLING Bitcoin? on: June 26, 2016, 10:02:35 AM
The proper Q would be - Is China highly invested in bitcoin?

Bitcoin is not controlled by China, just of the increased usage by Chinese people and the support provided by Chinese government in mining most believe that bitcoin is controlled by China.

I don't think the average Chinese consumers use Bitcoin to purchase goods or services in China, almost the whole amount of Bitcoin in circulation there is controlled by the miners and the exchanges. The bad thing is that the Chinese government can control the Chinese miners and exchanges in the country essentially gaining indirect control of the whole Bitcoin network in China and most importantly could exert a 51% attack if they gather all the hashing power in one big cluster of mining farms. Some food for thought I guess.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: OFFICIAL EURO 2016 Information, Discussion and Tips Thread + 10 BTC FREE PROMO on: June 26, 2016, 09:18:51 AM
I'm really sad for the Croatians, especially for Srna who lost his father about one week ago and wanted to win this match for him Cry.

This was a really ugly and boring match to witness, both teams were kicking the ball around relying on defensive play that led to absolutely nothing in the regulation time and I don't think Croatia would have won the game if the match went to a penalty shoot-out because it's just a Russian roulette and Portugal might have won again. But I guess it doesn't matter how a win is achieved because the most important thing for Portugal is that they continue to the next round while Croatia won't forget this match for a long, long time. Apparently the trend is to have matches go into extra time and I wonder if we will watch games like this today as well. I hope there will be more offensive plays and more goals this time around though.
