As already mentioned, these are not the infamous blackmail tax returns. These are part of the two years that the campaign has always planned on releasing.

I suspect the end date will come and go and we'll find out the "hackers" are full of shit. I really hope I'm wrong and they release the info, but i doubt it.

At least BTC got some press out of it.

I'm wondering what this has to do with Bitcoin and why you would be asking here?

Because he wants to be paid in BTC for the data.

yes that's correct, thank you.

I lost my job at a good sized London-based online gambling company recently, but not before copying the past year's depositor data on to a flash drive. I have nearly one million records of individuals who have deposited money into their casinos... full records; including home address, phone, amount deposited, etc. I know from working in the industry for years that this kind of data is literally worth millions of dollars.

This is sort of a once in a lifetime opportunity for me... i regret if some folks view my actions an unethical... but in these shite economic times, we all have to look out for our own families first. My former employer was seriously under-utilizing their customer data anyway.

My question is... I'm not a marketer... what is my best move here? Should i be setting up servers to bulk mail these people gambling ads every day? Or should i try to sell the data quickly and walk (run) away laughing?

Anyone offering services that may be able to help me effectively monetize this data, please feel free to spam

I don't mean to belabor a point that's probably been made in one of the last 139 pages, but let me try to clarify.

So, as a newbie, I'm restricted to posting in Bitcoin Forum > Other > Newbies only.  As someone who's only a month into mining and barely able to cash out my work, I'm not really sure what I can add to these conversations that would be novel, or not terribly repetitive.  Besides asking a probably-stupid question like this.

then ask for a whitelist! you can't say they haven't thought this shit through.
