7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DO U THINK AFTER CHINA NEW YEAR ALTER COIN WILL PUMP ? on: February 13, 2018, 10:52:13 PM
i dont think so. In my opinion it will not happen as a fast pump after Chinese NYE, but slowly market will start growing after 16/2. Last year the same happened in early spring. So we can hope that the altseason will slowly start in short time, and the total mcap will get on the level as it was before - around 800 bil. After altseason we can hope for another bitcoin bullrun in ending of 2018.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: TaaS — Tokenized Closed-End Fund on: February 13, 2018, 10:41:07 PM
i was expecting a bigger dip after the dividend was paid to tokenhodlers. That did not happen till now. In a way I am happy about that, but I was trying to buy some more cheap taas as I love the idea of hodling tokens from a crypto VR fund. Well I guess 6usd will be the price to pay.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: xrp welcomed in dubai. on: February 13, 2018, 10:30:16 PM
again some great news for xrp hodlers and fans. Big part of crypto community does not like xrp and ripple but it is what it is. It is a veichle for money transfers and it works great. It is cheap and fast - that are the things ripple promised to deliver and it did. So like it or not, it is great for anykind of crypto to hit mainstream in the way ripple does.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you would have 2 BTC, what would you spend it on? on: February 13, 2018, 10:26:23 PM
with 2 btc I would buy some platform tokens as Bancor, waves, ethereum, ardor, stratis. Then i would buy some "exchange" shares -tokens as binance coin, kucoin shares and coming dtr - dynamic trading rights. I would finish my shopping list with some longterm picks as TAAS ( dividend paying token ) and Iconomi tokens ( buyback/burn ). Also spare some eth for upcoming ICOs like blocksquare and diw.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coin now you think had a good future on: February 13, 2018, 10:20:58 PM
Like the title, what coins do you think will have a good future because now it's a lot of coins and not a few of those coins that fail
What do you think ?
What coin do you think will have good future ?

i belive that one of the coins with great 2018 will be $HVN - hive project token. Current mcap : 50.000.000usd , placed at number 210. It is your auditor, risk manager and liquidity broker on the same platform. It had won CoinAGENDA Global BEST ICO 2017 WINNER. Hive has a great team, a working demo, cool community on telegram. As people see it as a competitor to populous token ( mcap :977.368.860 USD ) hive has superior development going on. Prediction for 2018 : x10
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do u follow what politicians say about cryptocurrency? on: February 13, 2018, 08:38:57 PM
In recent days, more and more politicians and heads of central banks talk about cryptocurrency!
Do u follow them? Yes or no? Why
I do follow them and tend to think, soon they will find a way to control cryptocurrency, because that's a huge amount of money, governor's loosing!
For example yesterday head bank of England governor Mark Carney said there is a concern among international regulators about the use of digital currencies and that he expects it to be on the agenda at upcoming G20 meetings. But he also highlighted the “huge range of opportunities” presented by the underlying technology, a view he’s shared before in relation to payment systems.

European Central Bank governor Draghi gave some great statements about crypto, but European politicians didnt. As i do follow what is going on, it was interesting that after a long well planned FUD campaign aimed at lowering bitcoin price and all alts with it, that came from several continents when it was finished a week ago, ECB comes with such statements. Well some people do understand that banning a new economy does not make them even more money.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins Delisting on: February 13, 2018, 08:31:55 PM
i was reading about two possible scenarios for Funfair on web. First was about how Funfair did not compile with KYC and AML and some other things bittrex did not like, but the other one was more interesting to me. As it was delisted right before showing a MVP and getting licensed for gambling industry, bittrex team delisted it to cut its biggest market - price fell , and buy cheap Funfair to get massive gains as they are going to list it again. Always dyor.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the hottest current ICO? on: February 13, 2018, 08:22:05 PM
there is a presale for a hot ico coming out in march going on right now. The project is called blocksquare.
About : " Similar to how Stripe or PayPal provide tools for e-commerce sites to securely and promptly process online payments, Blocksquare is building a set of protocols, APIs and tools to process commercial real estate property tokenisation so platforms can integrate it and offer tokenized local CRE deals to anyone with an internet connection."
In the presale you can get tokens for 0,08USD and the ICO price in March will be 0,5 usd.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best ICO in January thru March on: February 13, 2018, 07:42:45 PM
the presale is going on right now, and the ICO will be in March. Take a look at blocksquare presale. At this moment the price in presale is 0,08USD, the fixed price for ICO in March will be 0,5 USD - x6,3 just from presale to ICO. The project is a tokenized realestate market and ownership records so it has a large market to be applied to. Also has a good team and great telegram community.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a good time to buy altcoins? on: February 13, 2018, 07:26:46 PM
it was often very good to buy altz in early spring / spring time of the year. Often this period just before Chinese New Year ,was the best for altz shopping. As bitcoin always dips after NYE and alts follow last year i was buying xrp in this period. It did quite well later on in 2017. So for 2018 i will be buying these days some HVN - hive tokens, HDG - hedge tokens, ICN - iconomi tokens, TAAS tokens, some KCS and BNB. Always dyor.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most promising ICO's for 2018 on: February 13, 2018, 07:16:41 PM
i just invested some eth in the pre sale of squareblock tokens. I think they are at 0,08 usd at this time. As the ico begins in March and the price is fixed at 0,5 usd in my opinion it was a good deal. It is all about a tokenized realestate project where the market opportunities are big. Also i got whitelisted for the DIW Secure Digital Vault ICO, as i am also doing their campaign and like the project very much. This is for Q1, and then we will see.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Rewards: Sell immediately or HODL? on: February 13, 2018, 06:27:55 PM
I've been doing bounty campaigns only since December 2017.  Not long, in the scheme of things.  But one thing that truly surprised me during the last couple of months is the number of bounty hunters who look to sell their tokens ASAP.  At first, I didn't understand why, but I think I'm beginning to.

For me, I'm doing these bounty campaigns for a bit of fun and to give my mind a bit work to do, creatively speaking.  So my mindset for any bounty tokens is just to HODL and allow the devs to implement their roadmap and take the project through to completion.  I think this will give the best realisation of value on the tokens.  Sure, some may fail and they will likely end up worthless, but since I only invested time, not money, into receiving them, I'm not really worried.

So with that mindset, I struggled to understand why so many people were eager to offload their bounties at the earliest opportunity.

But over the weekend, I sat down and did some calculations on the accumulated bounty rewards I'm expecting to receive.  Each bounty by itself was a modest return, but when combined in totality, it was a sizeable amount.  And that's when it struck me...

Lots of people who live in less fortunate parts of the world, particularly in areas with high unemployment, probably NEED to sell their bounty rewards to put food on the table and pay their bills.

But I really don't know if my assumptions are correct.  So, my question to you is...

Do you sell your Bounty Rewards straight away or HODL?  Any insight into your reasons would be appreciated.

## If this post has been thought provoking for you, I'd really appreciate a bit of Merit in return ##

well i have done bounty campaigns for far more than 2-3 months, and in my opinion there are just two ways how to do it. Or you sell your bounty tokens the moment they are listed on some exchange, or you hodl them for a couple of months to catch the first wave of price rise after the period of price stabilisation. Nowdays I just hodl them for a longer period.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UAE Remittance Giant Partners Ripple for Instant International Payments on: February 12, 2018, 08:25:05 PM
after xrp hodl mode for a year is always good to see articles like this one. I know that 60% of crypto community hates ripple but whatever. Ripple has a great team and a working product. Also cheap to use and very very fast. I just hope that in the future we will see a lot more articles like this.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange or Wallet? on: February 12, 2018, 08:18:19 PM
I have a question.

What is better? To keep your coins on some Exchange site or to open wallets for each coin?

I would like to hear some advice.  What are pros & cons of each option?

Thanks

it depends on the strategy what you want to do. I keep some fiat and coins/tokens for short term buying/selling on an exchange, and all the other tokens on my ledger. If you are a daytrader you wont have time to transfer tokens from hardware wallets to exchanges to make a trade, but also everyday an exchange gets into some trouble so keeping everything there is not clever. Cryptorush, Mintpal, Cryptsy and some others took some of my coins when they sunk.
