1  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: :: payBit - Buy Stuff With PayPal Directly With Bitcoins! :: on: October 19, 2012, 12:04:21 PM
Theres no way I would give someone access to my paypal account which has my bank and other details attached to it, sorry.

Letting a 3rd party access your account for exchange reasons would not be allowed in there T&S.....

I get the idea  Wink

i dont get it.. why can't you sell to aus people aswell ?

I can sell to anyone in the world but shipping times are important and to go USA = AUS is slow, so Australian market will not respond to slow shipping.

We have decided to go into Maintenance mode for the next 5 days to organising a "better" supplier for products that you all love!

* Tables

:O Tables!

(you might want to fix that  Tongue )

But if you really have tables, that'd be cool too.

Sorry Mushroomized we don't stock any tables  Tongue (maybe in the future). We do however stock tablets...

I'm in Australia and I'd like to see AU shipping back...

Hi TradeFortress,

I'm also in Australia and started MegaCoin with the idea of shipping from AUS but have discovered two things.

1. If your shipping from Australia then your whole customer base will most likley need to be Australian.

2. The Bitcoin market in Australia is still developing and is not as mature as the US. Maybe in the future I can offer products from both markets but at the moment I have been "forced" to focus on the most profitable one.

I'll certainly lurk around the site a bit! It looks nice Smiley

Keep lurking!! New products will be up VERY soon, just finishing off the paper work with the new supplier and getting products imported..

Thanks again everyone for your support and input, this will help us grow.

Sent 5BTC to 1CBKc1Xq21mTfyR4KyToLYKJNYnrr3CjJj

7BTC repayment by November 30 + 1% interest per week thereafter (non-compounding)

Repayment address: 1L1kzpaFWEGr9BLAfNnzykLS7evLPZc3bf

From that post it looked like repayments where going to be made to that address....

Nevermind just intrested in how the loans on here get paid off.

It seems strange that you both agreed that the Bitcoin would be paid back as Bitcoin but you have now used paypal and cash?

Great site man, good luck!

btw thanks for the link to http://bitcoincharts.com/t/weighted_prices.json, was looking for that Smiley

Thanks. Yeah that json url is handy!!!

P.S FreeMoney I have now fixed up the price cronjob, gee there has been some crazyness in the last 24 hours....
12  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: MegaCoin - Bitcoin superstore on: October 08, 2012, 07:02:06 AM
Oh, I just noticed you are AUS. The shipping cost and time will probably keep me from ordering directly, but the site looks good and I'll keep it in mind to refer people to. Any chance of shipping the same stuff from US in the future?

Shipping costs are in dollars on the shipping info page btw, I imagine you'd want to convert the same way you do the prices. How do you do them btw? They don't seem to have adjusted in the last 15 minutes of craziness.

We are looking at using other suppliers from different parts of the world but cannot find any decent suppliers willing to allow another site to re-sell there items.

Oops didn't notice the shipping cost was not converted! I'll get on this straight away.

The prices on the site are entered into the back-end as AUD and then we use a PHP script that is called form a cron-job to update the currency, I think it was set to update ever hour but I might have to make it every 15 mins. It just uses the data available here http://bitcoincharts.com/t/weighted_prices.json

Thanks

I've only spot checked, but the complete descriptions seem missing.

A nice thing would be for the "Sort By" to not reset itself on each page.

I'll take up the description issues with the team that imported the data from our suppliers provided product list, I noticed this earlier on but only thought it was a few products.  Undecided

The "Sort by" should be an easy fix just need to make sure it is setting the sort value in the cookie.

Thanks you again

Cool, checking it out.

First thing, PC cases are inside "Laptops & Notebooks".

Moved them to PC now. Thanks for picking that up, I'm sure there are other category issues as well!

Feedback good or bad is always greatly appreciated
