It is so helpful that Bitcoin has a great community like this. The issue was it was an old GFCI/ARC hot tub breaker. The power fluctuations were to great for it and that caused it to trip. Not the actual amp draw. I must say I'm glad that's the only thing that went wrong. ( I did the wiring myself a 14 year old)!!!!!

Hi there guys I just converted my farm to 240. I was wondering what the amp draw of 1 Antminer s7 is on 240 volts!! It is a 50 amp circuit. The breaker keeps flipping with 1 antminer s7 and 7 antminer s5 with the power factor a 1. The amperage for an antminer s5 is 3 amps and antminer s7 is 7 amps. So 28 amps on a 50 am circuit no problem but it does not work. It will run for 1 hour and then trip. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Wow, BITMAIN bringing the support team. NICE!!!
I have had this problem before. The things that I did were as such!!
1. Make sure the antminer is set to dynamic (DHCP) and not static. It just makes thing much much easier.
2. Find that IP address. To do this login to your router. 192.168.1.1 or 10.0.0.1 (Xfinity). Once you're in go to "connected devices" (It should say something like this). Once there find the antminer on the chart.
3. Go to that IP!!
4. If it hashes GREAT but one more thing.
5. Make sure you have a password in the password box under Miner Configuration. Also, you may want to try a different pool. I suggest Slush. Some of my miners would not work with ANTPOOL but they all work on SLUSH!!
Hope this Helps

As you all can tell i am a noob at electrical wiring. The hot tub has 4 wires coming in. as i can see it is 2 hots a neutral and a ground. I figured it was 3 phase because that's what my DAD said ( Im only 14). But after looking i believe that it is single phase 240 with 2 hots and 1 ground, the neutral in for any 120 systems in the tub. Please let me know if i am missing something.
THANKS!!
My advice is be careful and have your dad help you looking at it. When I hear 14 and looking at electrical .... makes me a little worried. But again I would get your dad to help make sure it's not live so when looking at it you are not in danger. Do you have a picture of outlet? Or is it just wires ran from electrical box? Also a picture of breaker might help. But again get your dad to help during this. Yea sure i understand that 14 is young to be working with 50 amps of 240 but as always the breaker is off and double check at the tub. ( My dad is very supportive and all about safety ). It is just wires coming out of the ground. 4 wires 3 connected ( 2 hots and a ground ) 1 unconnected neutral i think. (It wont show up because of account rank!! CLICK THE LINKS!!) It may be unclear but the wire all the way to the right is not connected and i think its the neutral!!

Hi there
I am currently starting to change my small farm to 240 from 120!! I was just wondering if ATX PSU's accept 3 phase 240? If it is product specific than could someone tell me where to look. I have a bunch of different PSU's sooooooo...
Ps. its a dedicated 50 amp. With 6 gauge wire and 5 20 amp receptacles Thanks

Do you have a password in the pass word section. I have had this problem and that is what worked for me.

So i have 2 antminers'3 and when i long in to the web interface and go to miner status. All it says is "This section contains no values yet". I have tried resetting them using different pools and upgraded the firmware and nothing works. The fans are moving but very slowly and only the Ethernet lights are on. They hashed for 3 months before this. Chris DeChant
