Ups...they should write it more clearly..

I thought the 2 columns stands for 2 different rails...
In this case, you can mod the EPS Plug....
3  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Power Antminer S7 with 3 PSUs: Is that possible? on: December 27, 2017, 03:11:28 PM
Not really...
1st you only have 2 PCIE plugs..one PCIE plug can handle only 150Watts....
2nd the PSU has 2 12V rails not one.
4  Bitcoin / Mining support / Antminer SSH Commands on: December 25, 2017, 05:03:56 PM
Hello there,

somehow is my Antminer S7 nor working solid...
Sometimes it runs solid for several hours, but most of the time, it just stops hashing.
Rebooting the whole miner helpes.
Changeing the freq also helps....so everthing to restart the miner helps.

Is there any SSH comannd to restart (not reboot) the miner?
So I can send the command every 1 hour or so...is better/faster than rebooting the whole miner.

Thank you
Regards
Hoschi

Sorry for asking but what is the crystal?

Please let me know, if it works...
6  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Cheap and simple repair of S7 hash board on: December 15, 2017, 05:01:43 PM
I saw on antpool, that the S7 only hashes with about 3,1 GH/s.
There was no beeping...
The voltage between the inductor and ground is 10,75 V.
Input Voltage is 12,13 V.

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer D3 VERY high HW Error on one Board on: December 15, 2017, 12:52:58 PM
Thats why I don't want to ship it to bitmain...

I'm sill wondering, am I hasing with 2 or 3 boards...since prohasing sees 14 GH/s..

3 boards  2 would be about   10gh

just mine with it  until the board dies.

Unfortunatelly I live in Germany, so I need to ship it to Hongkong (shipping costs > 50€)..
The board is only 2 weeks old..but the cost/benefit would be not really efficent Cheesy
So the HW Errors doesn't really matters? It that's only a indication error, then I'll mine until it dies...

I already tested the newest bitmain and blizz FW...
BTW: all the asics are ooooooo
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Antminer D3 VERY high HW Error on one Board on: December 15, 2017, 07:04:23 AM
One of my D3 has only 58 of 60 asics --> not a real Problem..
But that hashboard has a HW Error of >753000 in 11 hours Shocked

Dasboard says a hashrate of 15,602 GH/s and Prohasing says 13,981 GH/s...
So do I have really so high HW Errors...since Prohasing recognized a hashrate about 14 GH/s...

DAMN....it worked only for about 2 days Sad...

I'll check the voltage....
12  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Cheap and simple repair of S7 hash board on: December 13, 2017, 10:49:08 AM
LOOOL
Apparently it was too cold in the Garage (10°C)...
I took it in the house and it worked perfect with the same PSU.
So I swap board 1 with board 2 --> garage --> same Problem only 23 chips detected.
So I change the freq an it reboots the "miner" --> all chips are there....
Now it's running stable over 16 hours  Grin.

Next time I'll messure the voltage between ground and the inductor (inductor has usualy 2 connectors right? which one should I take)?

Armand

Hello everyone,

I have a S7 with 45 chips...
Board one only detects 23 chips...but sometimes it detects all 45 chips..
Once (1 from 100) it runs perfectly with all the 45 chips
Even if it's dectects 23 chips it runs only stable for couple of minutes..is there any chance to repair it?

Is this Picture https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-GOoFIu8c82s/V18K4PYcePI/AAAAAAAGi6I/BOOf0PaRMkoezoFTYsaj1cJOeUiurgq8QCLcB/s1600/antS7-top-view.jpg correct?
So my faulty board (one) would be on the left side?

Thank you

How is the noise level?
Is it like S7 or L3+?
15  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: BITMAIN Antminer S3 support and OverClocking thread on: December 16, 2015, 10:32:22 PM
Try to run your S3 with the standard speed (218,75 and not 225).
16  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: BITMAIN Antminer S3 support and OverClocking thread on: December 14, 2015, 03:08:59 PM
LOL allthough I have a S3 and not an S3+ I need to change the freq over the Webgui and not via SSH^^

Firmware Version   Fri Jan 9 20:41:34 CST 2015
cgminer    4.6.1-1

save&apply --> soft reboot unfortunatelly not working Sad

If I click "update" list, I get this following error:

wget: server returned error: HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found

Hello there,

does someone has an Idea why my S3 don't "accept" the changes at the asic freq file?
It does save the file correctly but after reboot it still comes up with the "standard" freq of 225^^allthough 225 is comment out and 218,75 is "active".
It doesn't matter which freq I activate, it always comes up with 225M.

TQ
