Wow this project looks really interesting. So is it basically a way to create a league structure similar to the Premier League/NFL/MLB etc. for Esports?

Hello all,

I'm sending out a March post in hopes that others might be interested in participating. My sample is currently up to 20 participants (thanks everyone) and I'm looking to hit 25 if possible. Please message me if you are interested in participating.

Thanks,

Hello all,

I was hoping to throw out another flyer in case people who did not get a chance to see my last post would like the opportunity to participate in a research project regarding Bitcoin.

I am a current graduate student at the University of Arizona studying Bitcoin experiences and conceptions of value. If you are over the age of 18 and an American citizen and would like to participate in an interview regarding these subjects feel free to PM me or email me directly at abk5074@email.arizona.edu for a copy of the consent form which details your rights to privacy and confidentiality as a participant, and details a bit about the project. Hope to hear from you!

P.S.

Thanks again DannyH if you see this post. Your interview was immensely helpful and insightful.

Hi everyone. Thank you so much for your kind responses and interest in the project. I have sent out PMs to a few of you who expressed a desire to participate. This project runs through May so there is a lot of scheduling flexibility if people were hesitant due to the impending holiday or just general lack of time in the immediate future. Please feel free to pm me for more information.

Residing outside of the US is fine, for sampling purposes and oversight concerns participants just need to be American citizens. Shoot me a pm if you are still interested!

Absolutely, the only limitations are that this study is restricted to US citizens for purposes of IRB oversight. Skype is a fine option.

I am a graduate student at the University of Arizona studying sociology. I am currently writing my master’s thesis on Bitcoin usage and am looking for people who would like to be interviewed. I am looking to get a sense of why Bitcoin is valuable and what reasons people decide to use Bitcoin. The interviews will be informal and last around an hour or as long as you have available. The time and place of the interview is up to you, as I would like this to be as convenient of an experience as possible. Topics that will be discussed will concern your ideological stance and motivations for using Bitcoin, including your history with the system. Please note that an Institutional Review Board (IRB) responsible for research on human subjects at The University of Arizona has reviewed this research project and found it to be acceptable according to federal and state regulations designed to protect the rights and welfare of participants in research.
Please private message me with your email address if you would be interested in participating and I will send you a copy of the consent form and we can discuss a time that is convenient for you. Thanks!
