Hi Manav1112,

I am from Trybitcoin.in and I would very much be interested to know the reason you have termed us a "Scam". May I know if you have transacted with us and is there an instance where we have not fulfilled what we promised?

We are a genuine Bitcoin service platform, educating and helping people to know more about Bitcoin and trade them easily. Our service is very straight forward, where in we don't even hold an individual's money or bitcoin with us at any point. All exchanges with us are instant, where in we send Bitcoins to the individual's wallet instantly as soon as we receive his funds and vice versa.

In terms of the knowledge about Bitcoin, we have learnt, followed and educated others about Bitcoin passionately for many years now and will continue the same. Our interaction with people while we traveled and also during our meet-ups inspired us to create a service that is currently lacking in India. We are currently in the beta testing phase and learning everyday through our users who transact with us and many others who contact us to know more about Bitcoins.

You didnt reply to him here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1499333.20 for a long time which can lead to people making assumptions and you did not post anything on here as well to defend your website: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1615961.0

To clarify, i'm not saying your website is definitely a scam but it was apparent from the forum posts at the time.
5  Local / India / India and Crypto scams on: September 18, 2016, 05:03:49 AM
Hi,

I've been seeing that cryptocurrency is used again and again for scams against Indians in this forum, outside and in the real world.

We can see trybitcoin.in and scams like that being actively promoted
We can see MLM scams being promoted like gainbitcoin and powerhashing
We can see coins like Mudra coin ruining India's name in the bitcoin community here
We can see people selling miners with false claims for exorbitant prices
We can see other forums like Quora being used to promote MLM and ponzi schemes
We can see in real life people being scammed to start investing in false cryptocurrencys.
Yet the educated cryptocurrency community here does very little.
i

Posts which are promoting sites such as trybitcoin.in should be flagged, trust should be negative and their posts should be removed.
Any allegations against coins (mudra, trestor) should be taken seriously and their teams should come up with relevant and responsible replies.
We should have pinned posts and posts with lists of scams as well as guides for new people to cryptocurrencies, informing how to find if a coin is a scam and a list of verified scam coins/sites as well as a guide on ponzi schemes
Coins like Mudra should be scrutinized and reported as soon as it is posted!

For Quora, I found that specially these two Indians are dedicated completely to get people into Ponzi schemes and they then get referral money - and they do it from highly educated individuals.

https://www.quora.com/profile/Shishir-Gupta-64
https://www.quora.com/profile/Asma-Khan-47

Here are some scams from those two troublemakers on Quora - and look at the comments - people actually believe them and lose money!

https://www.quora.com/What-are-the-biggest-mistakes-youve-made-in-your-career-development-or-job-choices/answer/Asma-Khan-47?srid=tno3 - when she said Hashocean is the best
https://www.quora.com/What-are-some-of-the-Indian-Scams/answer/Asma-Khan-47?srid=tno3 - now she says its a scam
https://www.quora.com/Is-cloud-mining-of-bitcoins-or-other-crypto-currencies-a-scam/answer/Asma-Khan-47?srid=tno3 - now wants ref money from genesis mining
There are much more, look at her profile: https://www.quora.com/profile/Asma-Khan-47

Take a look at Shishir too:
https://www.quora.com/How-can-I-earn-huge-by-mining-bitcoins-at-home-using-my-own-hardware - Endorsing Asma
https://www.quora.com/What-is-business-to-do-with-1lakh-or-below-capital - Promoting Genesis with ref code
He even made a video endorsing hashocean: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXk9jFIn4gg

And they dub themself as research scholars on Bitcoin

Lets create a healthy cryptocurrency community here
6  Local / Mining (India) / Re: Need a Zeus Scrypt Miner 28Mhs+ Contact Me on: September 18, 2016, 04:28:26 AM
Expect around 1.2 usd on average by mining with this, and upon that you will also have a electricity cost which you have to cover. Make sure price is reasonable if anyone buys this, and make sure the unit is working before you buy. Calculate profitability from a website like coinwarz and use scrypt algo.
7  Local / India / Re: Anyone Heard about Mudra coin. on: September 18, 2016, 04:22:05 AM
Did all those who registered or contacted them with the Whatsapp number receive their Mudra ? I still haven't heard back yet.

It was a scam, if you didnt find out yet.
8  Local / India / Re: Do you think the Price of Bitcoin will rise? on: September 18, 2016, 04:15:35 AM
Bitcoin has benefited from the Brexit this year, the coin halving, and various other economic troubles which lead investors to try alternate investments.
However it has also suffered a lot from the Bitfinex hacking and such.
9  Local / India / Re: Buying bitcoin from coinsecure on: September 18, 2016, 04:11:48 AM
If you often use mobile for doing bitcoin stuff then go for zebpay .their service is good and reliable.for desktop you can try coinsecure or unocoin, its your wish which one u want to use as they both are good.unocoin often give signup bonus also so you can try it.

All three have good service, while each do have their own unique features (Coinsecure with automated trading, Zebpay with vouchers, recharge, etc and Unocoin with VAS and SIP option)

For cheapest rate, always use coinsecure.in/ they show the real rate, even if their competitor offers a better selling/buying price.
10  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk hacked and data for sale on dark web? on: September 18, 2016, 04:03:48 AM
Regardless if it was hacked or not, it wont hurt to change your password to a stronger one!
11  Other / Meta / Re: CONFLICT Of Interest Benson Samuel on: September 18, 2016, 04:01:16 AM
The point of this post is not relevant as nothing yet has happened which would prove or even support the allegations.
12  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: Unlimited bitcoin debit card | Worldwide Mobile Topup | Bills Payment on: September 18, 2016, 04:00:30 AM
Should this not be moved to the marketplace, as you are selling debit cards and your service?
13  Local / India / Re: how to buy bitcoin in india with debit card/gateway? on: September 18, 2016, 03:57:27 AM
and its always useful to use the price comparison on coinsecure.in to check the best price, which is quite a few times ironically not coinsecure  Grin
14  Local / India / Re: CryptoCurrency - India on: September 18, 2016, 03:55:36 AM
There is a trestor coin made in India, but its currently not completely free of allegations - but I think it's the closest thing to what you are referring to.
15  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Which USB Stick ASIC miner should I buy as on today in India. on: September 09, 2016, 09:58:00 AM
No, you wont get any even 'okay' returns with any sort of USB ASIC miner as of today.
16  Local / Alt Coins (India) / Re: Any Altcoin from India? like Spaincoin, Isracoin, etc on: August 28, 2016, 05:11:55 AM
Mudracoin is listed and run successfully can read more about mudracoin at coinsinfo.

Mudracoin is an experimental new digital currency that enables instant payments to anyone, anywhere in the world. Mudracoin uses a proof-of-work method in order for the Mudracoin blockchain network to achieve distributed consensus.

Read more at http://coinsinfo.xyz/asic/scrypt/mudracoin/

I dont see anything particularly unique about it
17  Local / India / Re: bitcoin investment sites on: August 12, 2016, 04:05:11 AM
These are fraud/spam bitcoin sites

Dont invest in them

www.dailycoince.net completely spam site - releases withdrawals but nothing in bitcoin wallet. lost that way  50$. nothing in return.
www.bitminer.io  - keep telling you upgrade and wont release current earnings. lost that way 70$, only 9$ in return.

Why do you invest in such sites Undecided Undecided

20  Local / India / Re: As an Indian do you want bitcoin to fork? on: August 12, 2016, 03:52:32 AM
There is no way that a alternative fork will gain majority (at least in the current situation and time)
