Hi Everyone,

I am extremely sorry for the delays in the payment system also I have added a bonus to the balance to compensate for all the troubles.
I will be updating the payment scripts in the next 48 hours which will solve all many bugs in the current code.

Thanks for being patient with me.

the "Unknown" thing is getting bigger than btcguild. Not just ghash.io apprarently. Any idea what parties are they ?

Gigavps private pool  Grin

Someone should add them to the list instead of leaving them unknown if they are known  Grin

IIRC, Gigavps uses different addresses for each block and doesn't make use of P2SH.
Still it needs to be added to the list. Grin

Is this a legitimate way to purchase AM shares?
It's one of the many ways.
It's a pass-through, but it can give you direct shares if you want it.
There are lots of other pass-throughs too, here's a guide to some of them: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=188550.0

Although it doesn't look it if you're new to AM pass-throughs, right at the minute it's probably better to buy the btctc ones at the current prices. It's currently a little more expensive that BitFunder, whereas it's normally a lot more expensive than BitFunder.

https://btct.co/security/ASICMINER-PT

This should be a good time to buy. There are big profits coming from sales, and if the APR is suddenly about 50% even for one week, the buzz from that alone should attract some decent money in.

hmm, Things are starting to look fishy.

No fish here; just sharks. And we're winning!

Its fishy that he is trying to collect 30,000,000 Bitcoins.
7  Economy / Securities / Re: [BITFUNDER] [BTCT] [HAVELOCK] Amethyst - 3btc a share. on: August 14, 2013, 05:39:42 AM
Update - before going onto an exchange we just wanted to do a quick update to the contract. Due to the very high demand we will be releasing a further 10 million shares on all exchanges at 3btc. We ask that those with shares at the moment to try and give other people a chance into this life changing venture. We ask that you only keep your bids to 10btc.

Lets do the math.

10 Million shares * 3 BTC/share = 30 Million Bitcoins.
Only 21 Million Bitcoins will ever exist, So how do you plan to sell all 10 Million shares?

The book I recommended, the Disciplined Trader, by Mark Douglas really helps you understand how to deal with the anxiety that leads to stupid trades.

It is a book someone in IRC recommended to me after I told him I had sold off shares of ActM and regretted it.

Is it this thread where someone was recommending a trading book to buy from Amazon?  Can you post again?

+1 LorenzoMoney for sharing a great piece of information to the bitcoin community.

That book is a must read for every trader.
I read that book long time back, It has helped me a lot in my trades.

14  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] G.ASICMINER-PT on: August 01, 2013, 12:38:22 PM
I will be winding down all my other PTs, as I no longer can ensure regular payments or that I can set off time on a weekly basis.
My time and presence is required sporadically across several countries and time zones. I can hence not ensure that I can payout dividends or complete other tasks within a reason time period while upholding the security measures I would like to keep.
This is something I have been thinking about doing for sometime now, but this issue has made it clearer.
It is time for me to shut down my PTs and step down, there are now several other reliable and trust able PT operators which you can fall back on.
I will still be available if anyone wants my opinion or advice on things, I might also do additional fund raising in the future but more focused on a small group of bigger investors.

Thank you for trusting me with your money and time, I hope that even though the recent fuck ups you appreciate the service I have offered the community for some time now.
Within shortly all PTs will be bought back or the ownership will be transfer to another trusted community member.
Best Regards
//DeaDTerra

For G.ASICMINER-PT this means that the ownership will transferred to Ukyo.
He will make a statement later on how this will happen and what it will mean Smiley
Hopefully faster dividends and smoother transfer.

Thanks for the Update.

16  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Asset Exchange Marketplace + Rewritable Options Trading on: July 25, 2013, 03:57:07 PM
Neither BitFunder nor WeExchange operates from the US or is incorporated in the US.

We have spent pretty much every BTC earned so far (and a larger amount of my own personal funds) on lawyers in multiple countries to ensure both site's are as legal as can be while we await final approval from one of a handful of government bodies we are trying to work with.
While I do not wish to give out the current incorporation of BitFunder, it is definitely in a country that is very clear that their first action if believed to be 100% in violation would be a cease and desist. However at this point 100% is about 70% away based on our proposed requests for answers.
While some may say this sounds fishy, the last thing we need is for someone to stir up trouble before we have had a chance to finish.

As I have pointed out to numerous people, as well as many many issuers of securities, and any who join BitFunder:

If you are a person, persons or business operating in the US, and unless you meet some very fine exceptions, you must seek permission to be traded online to be legal.
There are some alternative options which are available, all dependent on what the issuers are doing of course.
BitFunder does not offer legal advice to issuers but does make them aware that they need to do much research if they are insistent upon issuing from the US.
We have had many great asset idea requests come in. Impressive ideas. However they are still working on the legalization of their side of things.

To ease some concerns, the SEC made no statements that US citizens trading on any type of exchange outside the US is illegal.
The sole issues at hand come down to fraudsters and anything issued that obviously meets federal securities standards, barring special case exceptions.

We will continue as before, to finalize the legal standing for BitFunder and continue to build a strong service that the community can look to and depend on.
Some people are upset that the fee's on BitFunder are high. I can assure everyone that these funds are all going to lawyers to meet this end.
Having multiple large law firms whose employee's are former decision making regulators in multiple countries around the world does not come cheap.

I am sure you can imagine how many hundreds of hours a month must be put into research, discussion, and documentation all with many revisions to try to convince different government entities that we should be allowed to do what we are doing because of our special case.

Depending on which comes first, I am hoping to make some sort of announcement within the next 30~60 days with some good news.

(Per MyJuffy's suggestion I added "Neither" to the very beginning. Wink

Nice to hear from you Ukyo.

@micalith : I replied to you on IRC few days ago, "<BTCOxygen> You have a invalid addess in place, Please enter a valid address and let me know.", You saw you quit IRC after that.
I looked through the logs and still you have the same Invalid address.

I don't think anyone would like to find their PMs posted in public.
