Whales will need a lot bitcoins to make the market moove,as bitcoin pump isnt soo easy to make ,soo if miners get ins the game the pump can be 50 dollars to 100 dollars as long they feel safe with their coins,but to keep the new stable value its harder then make the pump.

haha, i was about to miss kwukduck and his posts, thanks for bumping this topic. it looks like he has crawled up somewhere under a rock now, i used to see a lot of topics being started each week by him when the price was stable each time claiming price is going to crash!!!
Ha, me too! Don't worry, I suspect when price falls by a dollar or two Kwukduck will be back, warning us that the logical outcome of a 0.5% fall is doooooooooooom. BCT doesn't seem the same without him... I do not mind if the bitocoin price drops $5-10 in a day or two. It is very normal. I will buy more during the dips. You have to be a believer to buy in a dip. But I think the bitcoin value/price will rise in the long term eventually. |

At the moment Ethereum but that can change quickly with the rising difficulty and the somewhat low prices (if you compare with all time high some weeks ago)
The Ethereum price does change quickly. It dropped from 0.027 to 0.0165, but it recovered to 0.0195 now. |

The price is going up and is now above $400 so for the people that $400 was the barrier it has now been broken. This a good thing because many people were waiting so they can sell their coins.
The $400 level plus or minus 10 is the lower limit of the bitcoin trading range. It is better to buy there. |

I do not buy bitcoin with fiat directly. I mine altcoin and sell them for bitcoin. So it is the continuous action.

As it was mentioned before, this was a very organic climbing. I think we are over with 400 barrier and trying 450 but this is not easy as some investers are trying to make profit. However, i still believe that we are going to see over 450 before april.
I like this small climbing. Any pump will cause dump in the price. Small rise such as 1% a week is good. |

Can BTC continue to increase in price with issues like these? Some people will lose confidence in it because of the risks.
Only some 13000 BTC had been stolen from Cryptsy and that's nothing in comparison to the Gox theft. In addition a lot of altcoins also disappeared (2.5k-3k BTC worth LTC, BTCD and XC) what will be dumped for BTC at some point, I guess. Even 13k BTC wouldn't have too much effect on the prices. 13,000 bitcoin is just 4 day supply of bitcoin. It will be absorbed by the market easily. The altcoins are even easier. But individuals that lost money can't absorb those losses very easily (like me). how much have you lost? about 3 bitcoins, for me that's a lot I lost a few vert coins. It is just about 0.0xx bitcoin. But I still want the money back. BigVern should be punished. |

I doubt cryptsy can be saved.
A lot of debt, no trust. And offcourse the SEC investigation.
How can you even hope they cope up with all this?
The reputation of Cryptsy has been ruined. So if somebody buy it and use its old name, nobody will trust it. |

The money was stolen in 2014 and Cryptsy did not tell us about the hack and keep on deceiving us. So it lost our trust.

Even if you use escrow, your transaction (BOA) can be reversed later. So it is difficult to trade with reversible payment method.
