It seems like it's best to stick to just BTC (or BCH) and seasoned alts in the top 30.

The coin is dead. Only 3-4 people are mining it. The buy pool will dry up soon.

When the project had traction and was compared to a competition to golem. Where it could gain a lot from advertising and make it mainstream. The lead devlopper had attitude and rejected marketing. Now its in the dead alley and nobody cares except a few ogs

Well, i would love to see someone market it to the academic community as an alternative to the rather egalitarian BOINC project! What the crypto community typically understands as „marketing“, however, is some excessive shilling on twitter to pump the price and lure people into buying by giving them the tingles and the idea of getting rich quick! That, i never wanted to be part of and i think that this kind of marketing is an outright scam! Look at all these projects out there: their marketing is rarely outlining the unique benefits their technology offers! It‘s all about signals, profits, and „FOMO“! Waiting for a reply from 2 universities , they might want to mess around with XEL . As far as i know another member also suggested XEL to another university . As time pass by and the the platform completes i believe that we will gain traction of the scientific community . That excessive shilling on twitter brought bitcoin along with its diverse economics to 100 billion cap in less than 7 years (2011-2018), and yeah thats due to some peoples shilling and circlejerking in relevant message boards. Hell spread word whatever the cost is. And if u want scientific communities to adopt something then u ought to pay for their time they spend on research. Wait you think the reason bitcoin pumped to 100billion mcap was because people shilled it on twitter? LOL |

@coins101 I was looking at the Helium leadership team at https://heliumchain.org/team/ and I don't see your profile as part of the leadership. What is your official capacity at Helium? I see the CCO is responsible for community so don't understand where you fit into the scheme of things (unless you're the CCO and I missed that). Perhaps you're the CMO as you're making new announcements? He is the co-founder / CTO |

The shills have spoken, so i will just bump this. For the individual wondering where the stable 1k floor is, do your own research, this coin was in a market and maintained a stable floor of 1k for several months before making it into CMC, and the dump was easily correlated to the entrance of the aforementioned player who was given the time to abuse the algo limitations. Notice how no one has countered that anything i said is false rather the opinion is i should stop talking about it/labeling it as fud. Anyway, carry on. it took several months before an update was given that the team will finally update the code, this is after the community has been complaining for awhile about the lack of action from the devs part. Like i said no one asked for an ip block but an imminent algo change to limit the impact would have been nice. But they waited till the coin fell from a stable 1k to lower 200 sat to act, all the while giving the player enough time to accumulate to basically control the value for a really long time. As for the perceived general positive conduct on discord, it quite obvious that any deviation from the general happy go lucky, its raining shrapnel but its all good comment will result in a ban under the guise that banning fud  Oh and its easy to talk about letting it go, when you don't have several thousands invested when stability was attained at 1k, and watched that invest blew to pieces due to inaction from the dev. Wouldn't be that bad if there wasn't an acct with 2 million coins waiting to dump soon as there is a perceived growth and we also don't have a player (who has made it obvious, he is not interested in positively affecting the value) that is basically in position to control the value for a really long time. So, am sure there are enough shills to post how great every thing is, and i will provide the info related to the other side of the coin. so a prospective investor has the full story. holy shit stfu already! Truly Decentralized
In Bitcoin mining power is concentrated in large pools. This puts the whole network at risk in case these pools will become malicious or if their security will be compromised. In SpreadCoin there are no pools, mining power is spread around many solo miners.
That is what I would like to see in every PoW-cryptocurrency project. I edited my Reserve Balance in wallet and now my wallet wont open I get an invalid reserve balance error upon launching then it shuts down. editing the conf file does nothing

I have 1,000 PURE. I wasn't updated for the last month with my wallet so I kept staking, at first I was staking at the wrong old chain, then I was staking finally in the correct chain, but then the swap window was like only available for 1 fucking week? That's insane I believed in this project since day 1, I kept the coins I mined since last year. and now I can't even swap them to PUREX??

Blockfolio has added counterparty DEX support, meaning any coins listed on the exchange can now be added to blockfolio (by request) You can make a request for a coin to be listed here: https://feedback.blockfolio.com/coin-requestsWhy people are not adding this coin in any other exchange and I see mostly people are trading only poloniex ( I mean big exchange).
