1  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTB] Silver and Gold on: May 02, 2013, 12:40:22 AM
any interest in scrap jewelry? I know we have much more of that then rounds and bars. I work a gold buying store/smoke shop so I could take pics of each item acid tested and on a electronic tester. I only have about 5 ounces of silver in scrap so I don't think that is even worth shipping.

How is bowtruss? we are looking for coffee suppliers and we are located 2 minutes from ohare airport so they are close. We have had meetings with green mountain coffee and a few others but are these guys worth looking into? We are going for something decent and simple like a dunkin doughnuts blend to serve out of a trailer served by hot girls in bikinis.
3  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: We have 20 computers is it worth it? on: December 03, 2012, 10:34:04 PM
not even a nickel? FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUuuuuuuuuuuuuuu  should have been mining with my own rigs long ago but I though this bitcoin thing was garbage and stuck with liberty reserve and pecunix.

We might get a server in here if we switch to a different sweepstakes provider then mining might be an option.

We have a bunch of these and they are on but screensavered most of the day. I know they will suck for mining but since they are already on while waiting for customers I was thinking of some sort of mining with them as they just sit doing nothing until people come in to play video games.

any ideas of the best way to do this? The video games people play are demo.revealmyentries.com not like WoW or battlefield so the computers we have are not very powerful.
5  Economy / Goods / Re: Electronic Cigarettes smoke for $35 a month! on: December 03, 2012, 09:55:29 PM
you have some nice prices for shipped from the USA stuff. I work at a smoke shop and keep trying to get the boss to get ego's and other ones in like the lavatubes but no luck with him yet. I see people switch over to e cigs and then we loose them as customers except when they need a disposable sometimes and the ones that switch over to decent ones like ego's or better love it. They say they feel much better lung wise and health wise plus say about 2/3rds or more. Its frustrating working at a place that will not embrace the ecig as I see it taking off at other shops when they start selling good ones like ego's.

higher resolution pics please, these look like they were taken with flip-phone from 2002

imgshack resized them for a forum. If you go to the imgshack site and view the pics you will see it in better quality.  Just click on them and you will get to the ilikecake imgs. Do you enjoy bacon?
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best way to take bitcoins instore? on: November 11, 2012, 12:22:04 AM
Might have to do the bitpay thing here as people are used to needing a "service" to handle the payments here. The printed deposit cards are nice and could be great to have. .99%is kinda nice without fraud charge backs. We may just do the qr code of the address at first then see how it goes before we move to bitpay though.

Thanks with the extra ideas as i need to know them as I keep pitching the coins to the boss.
8  Economy / Goods / Re: Tobacco and some tobacco pipes on: November 10, 2012, 04:59:28 AM
damn that's quite a selection!

And its just a small part. I am moving more stuff around and will provide more pics soon. Then after the vegas glass show we will have about 10k more in stock. That will be some heady stuff. Most of what I listed is decent but not to artistic.

9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best way to take bitcoins instore? on: November 10, 2012, 04:57:40 AM
we do not have any online store but the paper wallet idea might OK then give them change back if needed or do the balance in cash.

I will also check out the point of sale as something that dials in like a cc machine to do bitcoins would make the market explode in retail settings.

Open to other ideas as I have the go ahead to bitcoin the stores.
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / Best way to take bitcoins instore? on: November 10, 2012, 04:01:35 AM
It just seems slow to accept them in a retail location and that would just not work here. I have tried to search using the search function but if anyone has a link to a good thread or suggestion let me know. also delicious bacon mayonnaise nipples

I can provide a fantastic price on larger amounts of tobacco.

I have rolling machines for sale as well. Will provide more pics hopefully tomorrow with updated prices on the rest of the pics that are there. I just have to finish this jar of ranch dressing first.
13  Economy / Goods / Re: Tobacco and some tobacco pipes on: November 10, 2012, 12:45:36 AM
Cool thanks for the escrow offer. Might be needed to get bulk tobacco sales going as any bulk sales I have seen so far on this site other then the leaf tobacco have been scams.

I have credits on a system like http://demo.revealmyentries.com/ if there is a way to bitcoin the service we will look into it as bitcoin transfers would have to manually at first.
15  Economy / Goods / Re: Tobacco and some tobacco pipes on: November 09, 2012, 07:59:11 PM

 Grin

I also have others then the all natural like marlboro type bold, camel style turkish and a milder turkish, mild AKA blue, menthol AKA mint plus tubes and rolling machines.

For empty filter tubes I have light regular and menthol.

If anyone smokes a particular type I have a decent knowledge of what smokers are looking for blend wise.

Since I am new here I am willing to do escrow with another member on larger sales to assure non scammness.(i hate scammers too)

19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tobacco import tarrif in the UK when using bitcoins? on: November 01, 2012, 12:11:06 AM
I am mainly looking at whole leaf and strip tax rates. Here in the usa if you get more then 10 pounds of strip its wholesale and taxed like veggies.

EDIT:

• cigarettes: an amount equal to 16.5 per cent of the retail price plus £167.41 per one thousand cigarettes;
• cigars: £208.83 per kilogram;
• hand-rolling tobacco: £164.11 per kilogram; and
• other smoking tobacco and chewing tobacco: £91.81 per kilogram.

Seems like strip, leaf and "tube cut" tobacco that is a little thicker then regular shags might fall under the 91.81 tax instead of the 164.11.

That would be about 180 a kilo to import cut tobacco for rolling. Is that cheap? seems super high to me as tobacco is cheap here I guess or my math is funky.

20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tobacco import tarrif in the UK when using bitcoins? on: October 31, 2012, 11:59:46 PM
Here in the USA we have a few different categories of tobacco products with different tax rates. Is the UK like that? Here the stuff that is manufactured less like strip and whole leaf have little to no taxes but stuff in a paper tube rolled is almost all taxes compared to total product cost.

If there is less taxes on tobacco leaf like the other guy is selling on the marketplace that is what I am looking for. I have access to decent quality shredders and rolling machines plus large amounts of baled tobacco leaf but am trying to see what is worth putting out there for people.

In the USA shredding then rolling your own can cut the price down to 10% of the manufactured cigarette cost if done right and the UK prices are insane from what I have seen.
