Never mind. I just noticed a GPU can't match a cpu on this algorithm.

polyminer1,
CUDA call error in cudaSetDevice(m_deviceID) : CUDA driver version is insufficient for CUDA runtime version
Do I need to install the Cuda Toolkit for this on Windows 7? Does it matter if it's v9.2 or v10?

Exchanges often freeze when a coin is pumping. I used to see that on Bittrex often. This coin is also listed on https://freiexchange.com. It's back open again. I'm sure the guy's busy piling on more as it's on the cheap now because of the panic halt. Gotta get himself a vacation to Bermuda for Christmas. lol

I usually see about 30 connections, when use default port in router.
Thanks. That worked. I went from 3 connections to 31 real quick. I always thought nobody was running nodes when it was struggling to connect. Do you know if the Cryptopia CAP wallet is enabled? Just to reCAP what I did: I logged in to my router settings under Port Forwarding and set the following rule to the staking device(IP_address): Destination Ports 7685 TCP Any -> 7685

CAP mooning! weeee 24 BTC daily volume? Should this really have the 4th highest volume @ Cryptopia, surpassing even ethereum? The wallet is out of date and there are only 4 nodes online. It's not even listed on CoinMarketCap anymore. Heaviest staking I've seen in a long time. Does anyone know if Cryptopia is open for CAP deposits and withdrawals?

Nor should they be. I think everybody making a decision whether to burn or not is fully aware of the risk that they may not get anything in return for burning BLK. Based on that, I think 13mil burned out of 77mil (16.8% @ $500K USD current value) shows extraordinary confidence in either an idea, a person, or a project. It’s a much safer proposition to wait until the product is completed and working in order to participate in acquiring tokens. I can’t say I don’t feel some uneasiness about the BLK I’ve burned.

genesis-tool needs a stop height. genesis-tool <start height> <stop height> The block time stamp is not atomic time. There’s always someone that’s gonna burn on exactly the last block. lol There could be a situation: Block 2379043 14 Dec 2018 00:00:02 UTC 2,345,678 BLK burn Block 2379044 13 Dec 2018 23:59:59 UTC 1,234,567 BLK burn What would be the final block number then? I think this situation is highly unlikely, but it might be a good idea just to slightly clarify that: The final block <stop height> will be the highest block number with a block time stamp less than 14 Dec 2018 00:00:00 UTC This should allow blocks with minor timestamp discrepancies to be included. Any thoughts? Agree? Disagree? Unimportant? Leave me alone, I just want BTC back to $14k USD? Currently, I estimate the Blackcoin block number occurring at 14 Dec 2018 00:00:00 UTC to be approximately 2379044. https://www.timeanddate.com/countdown/launch?iso=20181214T00&p0=1440&msg=Blacknet+-+Burn+baby+burn%21%21%21&font=serif

Hey Rat4,
What will be the final Blackcoin block number to be considered for the Blacknet IBO?

Are you considering developing a FOMO for blacknet?
FOMO, but slightly different from Ethereum version. Whether it can deliver value to blackcoin continuously(If burned for a long time, it can transfer value to blackcoin.)
I think about at least a few months of burning. Blackcoin is a classic digital currency that many people don't want to give up.
地球人 https://blacknet.ninja/posts/2018-08-09-jpl.htmlJava then? Will the extensions also need to be written in Java?

I'm still dictator in the project I started.
WOW ... just Wow ! So you really dont see this as a community project ? A touch of sarcasm methinks. He may retreat to the masterful rat in the hoodie sometimes, but the crypto spirit in him lives strong.

The best option is to take out a portion of BLACKNET for free distribution to BLACKCOIN holders. Maybe 30%,They supported the blackcoin,Please give them some comfort,Don't be a cold person.
Then take a part to burn, maybe 40%. Long-lasting burning,Just like EOS is a long time ICO.
The rest are used to develop, promote, market, Reward people.
. It is best to burn for a long time.If the burning is completed once, it is unfair.
Maybe you don't agree with me,
but,If you want blacknet to succeed,You must learn from others' successful experiences.
If a post like this on bitcointalk is the governance model for this coin, it has already failed. This... I'm still dictator in the project I started. If you disagree with my decisions or want to diversify, you are free to take over BlackCoin chain, cause I'll abandon it after distribution of Blacknet chain.
I'm sure there's a word for dictator in Chinese, chinaBLK, no? lol

Get on a new exchange before cryptopia fucks you over.
I am mining your coin these days! And every freakin day i find a new coin delisted there with some bad excuse like broken chain or some other shit. From the outside i can see that the only problem is the attitude on the exchange.
Well, Phoenixcoin is 5 years old and has never had a broken chain since my takeover. If they have any issue with the wallet, I'm always ready to help. PXC was one of the first coins listed by Cryptsy and, later, by Cryptopia. Here's the tweet: https://twitter.com/Cryptopia_NZ/status/583085700943200256I remember the times when they were a small exchange running a few dozen of coins. There are over 600 coins now and I realise very well what it takes to keep'em all in a good order. I recall Cryptsy had half as many coins listed in their heyday and they had their maintenance work done far worse. I don't think anyone here knows what Cryptsy is, or remembers the guy with the longest chain (Big Vern). lol Anyway, thanks for the great job supporting this coin all these years.

Satyra, or anyone, do you have any SA on how the tokens are allocated for rentals? I assumed more of my tokens would be rented at the lowest rate, but switched to 6.6 and got 100 plus more tokens rented, which is nice but my hourly bitcoin rate dropped slightly.
Where’s the best place to find updates on the project, construction progress, etc. thanks all!
Changing all the time. From GigaWatt dashboard: ¢/kWT/h Total kWT Free kWT WTT set to tariff 8.4 661.627 0 1974214 7.5 735.858 0 1956480 6.6 1370.223 0 3029251 5.7 2102.893 0 6111966 When you move your tokens from one rate to another, you increase the return on the rate you're leaving, and decrease the return on the rate you're going to. If you have a large number of tokens, you could wind up earning less after moving to another rate if you haven't calculated the return on the new post-move token allocation. I think token holders are preferring the 5.7 rate because a larger percentage of the rental income there is coming from Bitcoin.

Can Blacknet have more coins than Blackcoin? What if every 1 BLK is 1,000,000 blacknet. with 2 decimal places. The same 1.00000000 can be 1000000.00 100000.000 10000.0000 1000.00000 100.000000 Sounds plausible. Total max coins 76 trillion Purchase .01 Blacknet for .000000000002 BTC. All you need is to submit a Bitcoin Improvement Proposal to add 4 decimal places to BTC and hope that the Blacknet/BTC price never falls by more than 50% causing 0 exchange volume at the 1/10000 Satoshi price.

Since Ercoin is going to be distributed via BlackCoin burning, it would be interesting to know the date of the blockchain snapshot for the purpose of BlackNet distribution. If it happens during the burning period, then the two will interfere. I see two possible outcomes: 1 BlackCoin = 1 Blacknet + 1 Ercoin 1 BlackCoin = 1 Blacknet or 1 Ercoin In which one are you interested? I would prefer NOT to see a reduction in the overall supply of Blacknet, therefore Blacknet snapshot before Ercoin/Blackcoin "swap and burn" opportunity. "1 BlackCoin = 1 Blacknet + 1 Ercoin" It's assumed here I think that Blackcoin won't need to be burned to receive Blacknet tokens. Burning is inevitable This is a major change from “Wait for a good opportunity to buy BLK, then wait for the snapshot. That simple” I’m sure many would like to know why “Burning is inevitable.” The problems I see with burning BLK for Blacknet or Ercoin are: 1. Trusted Third Party or Swap Software needed to facilitate the swap a. People involved may be unreliable or have ulterior motives causing possible loss of Blackcoin with nothing in return. b. Swap software may have bugs, or can be hackable causing possible loss of Blackcoin with nothing in return. 2. BLK holders are trading something that has present value and is tradable across several exchanges including shapeshift.io and flyp.me for something not tradable and which may or may not be tradable at some future time, at some value which may be higher or lower than that of the burned BLK. 3. BLK Proven peer to peer transfer network exchanged for new “untested in real world” networks 4. BLK total coin supply & market cap calculations become invalid. 5. Existing BLK supply gets more concentrated in the hands of centralized exchanges. 6. If any crash and burn occurs, both burned BLK and the new tokens are gone. A snapshot avoids all these issues, requires no trust, and is pretty much invisible to BLK, except for the trading occurring before and after. If something goes wrong in the processes, no one is at risk of losing anything. If coin holders are going to be asked to burn BLK in exchange for a new coin, they should have detailed information about the exchange processes, and enough information on the new coin networks to make an informed decision. I really want to like Blacknet, but at this point, it’s just vaporware wanting to eat my Blackcoin.

why would the Komodo site say I am banned ?
Maybe because of the Cloudflare protection. You can try it with a different IP, ie. use a VPN (free for 1 hour) from https://www.mullvad.net/download/. Same issue. https://komodoplatform.com/ gives me: You have been banned from this site. If you think there has been a mistake, please contact the administrator via proxy server. Three other browsers, connecting through Verizon - same issue. When I try my phone on Sprint I can connect, but when I use my phone on Verizon, banned. Internet Explorer shows me an HTTP 403 Forbidden error. Yet https://ico.komodoplatform.com/ is fine through either network, but I can't login due to "Email not registered" error.

https://ico.komodoplatform.com/ seems to be rejecting my email. Says "Email not registered" even though I got a confirmation by email. Trying to swap my BTCD for KMD. Any one else having this problem? Yes, we found there was a problem on our end. We are now trying to fix it, but the original developer is no longer working for us. I'll keep you updated. Anyone else who needs to swap BTCD can PM me. I'm having the same issue. Any update?

Speculations
"what price ratio against ZEC do you think KMD will be?" When, 100 years from today? Can you clarify the poll question? Futures contracts have a delivery date. This poll question needs a date for anyone to be able to contribute any kind of specuation. On market open? On January 1st 2017? On December 31, 2017? Thanks.
