I mean after they receive the deposit?

I pay for a service that guarantees delivery by next day (waste of money right now), so if they're quick, I should get them within a day or two.

Is it really 'instant'? How long does it take for the bitcoins to reach your wallet?

I'm thinking of using it, I'm currently still waiting for my deposit on bitcoin-central, which I sent out last week. Might have something to do with their new bank situation, but I don't really wanna wait a week to see my money.
3  Other / Beginners & Help / Verification on websites like Bitcoin-central and MtGox on: December 15, 2012, 10:52:29 AM
I'm not really sure why you would want to get verified or why they would need you to. The whole thing seems suspicious, maybe they benefit in ways I don't know about.

Bitcoin-central says if you verify, your wire transfers become automated. Why are they not automated now? Are they seriously processing them manually? (That might explain why they take ridiculously long to fund your account.)

MtGox lets your withdraw more money after verification, but how does that increase security for you?

Do they just want your personal details? Would you trust them with them?

4 hours is a pretty long time to be logged on, especially if you log out once you're done reading and posting... I'll just have to wait.

While this is still up, I probably won't use the TOR site. TOR is way too slow to browse the internet with.

There I was thinking BC were just used for illegal activities.

I ended up sending money to your account through an exchange service (transferwise) that only charged £1 for the transfer, although yeah I had to convert to Euros first.

Hopefully this will work, I'm not really sure about that site, only issue here is it'll take more than a week for the money to hop from me, to them, to you.
8  Other / Beginners & Help / International bank transfer fees (from UK bank) on: October 25, 2012, 05:56:26 PM
I've been finding it impossible to acquire BitCoins using my UK bank account since MtGox and Intersango blocked transfers through GBP transfers.

I've been looking at making deposits using a SEPA wire (for example, at bitcoin-central) but my bank (Natwest) charges extortionate amounts for such transfers.

Are there any UK banks that don't have such high fees, or is there another way I can deposit money (or get BitCoins in general) from the UK?
