Sooo ughh...  How 'bout dat launch?

Edit:from my chat in IRC it appears the first post has a typo in it.  The launch date is ((dd/mm/yyyy) 01.03.2014 12:00(pm) Noon GMT-6) not 12:00(am) Midnight GMT-6.   Grin Grin Grin
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [LTC] Changing the litecoin Proof of Work function to avoid ASIC mining? on: December 15, 2013, 08:51:22 PM

This.  My vote is no, let litecoin develop on its own even if ASICS will come out for it to mine them.

7  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BTCFPGA bASIC updated from 54GH/s to 72HG/s on: November 25, 2012, 08:21:04 PM
Man this is good news for me, I really don't mind if it delays slightly again but I hope before 2013 arrives.
For me getting the ASICs before the 25 BTC drop was never really a concern, I simply love the idea of
helping to produce an economy that's much different than what is currently available in this world.  I
hope the enthusiasm with the currency can stay positive until the big mainstream adoption.  Cheesy

10  Economy / Goods / Re: [CHEAP] 12 Months NETFLIX Gift Codes on: November 17, 2012, 01:27:19 AM
None of my 3 codes worked... After trying them 3 days after purchasing the codes.  I would like a refund possibly, I have no reason to scam you into getting my money back I would just like my 4.5 BTC I paid you please.  I know my post count is low but a quick google search of my username and you should see that I am reputable on sites like TheIsozone, UnderGroundGamer, BlackCats, and what.cd. I live in the USA by the way.

Edit:  OP has made good with me in giving me a partial refund, its hard to trust low post count people but I truly thank him for trusting me.

16  Other / Beginners & Help / New guy introduction here/ I need advice for my bASIC when it arrives. on: November 01, 2012, 10:48:55 PM
Cliche(Sorry American here with no acute accent on me keyboard Cheesy) moment right now....    Sorry if this is the wrong section of the forum to post in, I briefly read the rules and if someone could link me them if I break one of them that would be nice. Cheesy

Hey guys long time forum lurker here. I'm new here to bitcointalk in terms of registering.  I love reading all of the different conversations and hope to stick around for much longer even if I don't post or have much to contribute knowledgeably here for the site.  I have mined with my 6950 2gb ever since February 2012, so I know some things or two about mining.  I want bitcoin to succeed and to be a force to be reckoned with in the near future. Cheesy  Okay with the introduction over, I would like to get down to my main questions:

I have ordered two 54 GH/s bASIC devices from Tom (CablePair/s I think).  I would like to know from the regulars here the following advice/questions about my ASICs.

1.Since I am not sure what chassis or box or case if anything the bASIC will come in, please recommend one for me to hold my bASIC in that is safe for it. Cheesy (Bear with me please hence newb here! Cheesy)

2.I really don't feel like leaving my computer tower open just to power my two bASICs with molex power, please point to a recommended DC power adapter that doesn't fluctuate in voltages too much (not sure if technically correct Cheesy) to damage my bASIC.  NO PSU or molex extension cables unless I really need them please.

3.What will you all be purchasing to prepare for this bASIC in case I miss some things with my questions.

Thank you all so much in advance for your answers (Please be polite If possible when answering, really dislike condescending people. As I have to deal with them everyday in my life.)  Looking forward to the answers!
