I'd buy one if they're under $50.
You want 300Mh/s for $50? That's called a 5830.
$50 shipped? Where?
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Alert: chain fork caused by pre-0.8 clients dealing badly with large blocks on: March 12, 2013, 01:54:13 AM
Revert to 0.7 and all ok
sorry can you elaborate on this? reverting to 0.7 means the qt client has to be 0.7? I just upgraded to 0.8..

is that what you mean by it?
Only miners need to do so. General users need not to panic.

PS: Thread posted to Important Announcements.

my rigs are mining on cgminer 2.10.5 so I'm confused as if I'm mining on .5 or .8

You are not solo mining, so it depends on which bitcoin version your pool is running.
3  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Can't get my 5830 above ~230mhas/s on: March 08, 2013, 04:14:24 AM
Use cgminer instead of guiminer. Also, you'll need to overclock to achieve 300+ Mh/s. 230-240 Mh/s sounds about right for a 5830 @ stock speeds.

Hi bit365,
Last night, I bet on St. Mary's vs. Pepperdine in the NCAA. I have yet to receive the payout. Transaction : https://blockchain.info/tx/f38c797dbc71cb0c8352f7afa020a93e006089a241a6a47edfe283a5b30c9395

Love the simplicity of the site. Thanks.

Hi kowalabearhugs,

Your bet was on Pepperdine (+669). Saint Mary's won 87-48, therefore the bet is a loss.

I hope this clears things up.

Cheers  Smiley

Fudge. I seem to have utilized the wrong address. Bummer. Thanks for the quick response.

I've never seen that error. I used to run GUIminer, but replaced it with cgminer last summer. cgminer is great.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's your Mhash/s? (Pissing contest here) on: February 28, 2013, 05:46:19 AM
425 MH/s w/ free, as in beer, electricity.
Primarily a highly oc'd 5830, but a handful of other office boxes as well.
