1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the point of these hacks? on: May 09, 2019, 08:16:32 PM
It is a very old saying that anything is possible so it means that nothing is impossible so whatever security level you have it can be broken by hackers. The reason can be different in almost all cases like in some hack it happens due to insider cheats, some exchanges hack their own site as they are running in loss and to shut down the exchange they do this. Some hacks are really done by hackers who are trying for long time and in the end they get success and hack it.

So their is no security which can be breached, it is only the users who have to be safe and alert by using lot of security steps.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Vs Trading on: April 23, 2019, 09:02:44 AM
True most of the bounty hunter that I know already quit and focus on trading.
I also quit on joining bounty campaign because I don't earn a decent amount from it and I don't think that it is still worth it anymore.

You are correct and have done good of switching to trading, as bounty campaign is giving very low rewards and the work is also high and apart from that, trading is giving a good profit compared to bounty work.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people but bigger bets in sports compared to other type of gambling? on: April 23, 2019, 08:44:11 AM
I would like to know why people are trusting their luck more in sports gambling compared to other type of games.
Personally, I put bigger bet on sports because I believe I have a little skills that would give me a better chance of winning, but I'm not really serious with sports gambling.

You itself have quoted the answer for your question. Big bets are done in sports betting is due to sports betting is done on analysis and reports and winning chances are high, even on low bets where you know what will be the result of your bets.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not invest in ICO anymore. Do not Feed scammers on: April 20, 2019, 09:43:00 PM
As what the majority noticed many ICO's projects did scam and sad to say it were make a bad image for all project no matter how good or bad its feature. But, I think not all ICO were scam it just most lunching were scam, so I think it were a challenge into crypto investor to pick which are really profitable.

I agree, not all ICO are scam, there are still legit project that conducts ICO but it is so rare and hard to see because of the market being saturated by half-baked to scam ICO.  But if we look and do our research seriously, we can still find this rare ICO that offers promising projects and have a legit team.

That is very very rare like out of 10 ICO hardly 1 ICO you can find genuine and even if they have real team with live projects the coins disctribution and the coin listing and other things will take long time that will make the value of the coins lesser. so it is much better that after the ICO is listed in exchange and if it is worthy then invest in the exchange and do trading or do short term investment and when you see profit just take it. which is a good idea always in trading.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What project did you get your first bounty payment from?? on: April 03, 2019, 05:22:49 AM
I joined very soon but as was busy with studies and life was not able to catch up, now i am trying fully to first build up my knowledge and then will join the campaign. Till then i wanted to gather the knowledge about cryptocurrency and get myself fully ready to go with it.

6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can you reverse or cancel a bitcoin transaction? on: April 02, 2019, 09:15:16 PM
In hitbtc, you can. Once you ordered to send the money and confirmed it you can always cancel it but the fee will be reduced. So if your money is. 05 btc and the fee is .0015 btc then when you cancel it, the funds you can get is only. 0485 btc.

It can be done by the exchanges only as they will do by their own pocket but in blockchain bitcoin transaction cannot be cancelled once it is confirmed by the blockchain. Until the transaction is not confirmed or included in the block it will get cancelled for example if you have set very low fee then your transaction will get cancelled automatically after some time as no miner will included it in their block.
Well said but i would like to clarify that theres no cancelation of your transaction if you do set out very low fee.Its still broadcasted on the network but
due to low fee it would have the tendency or chances that it will got stuck or wont confirm at all yet it wont be pushed by miners but on the current condition
theres no problem with fee though yet they are on the lowest possible amount.
Ya you are right that right now the fees is low but in past when the fees was high that time if you have set very low fee then it can cancelled automatically after some time/days. As it is not broadcasted by any miner. I have experienced this as once in that time i had set low fee and was waited for more then a week for my transaction to get cancelled and then i got my coins back in my wallet.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solutions to KYC complain of some Bounty Hunters on: April 02, 2019, 09:05:31 PM
1. As we all know KYC by its definition. We all know that we aren't obliged to do so. Since no fiat or investment we did to get the tokens which solely the purpose of KYC to monitor the funds ans circulation of token during purchase. Don't comply and don't join bounty with KYC! Simple as that.
What if bounty applies KYC when at the end of the campaign while we have joined for more than 12 weeks, will you still not do KYC? if not it means you will work in vain

That is why OP has given point 2 as doing KYC by help of other person and in against you have to pay him some fees. but in this case mostly it will get scammed as the KYC holder will get the token and if not giving to the real owner then it is one type of cheating. So only join that project who is runned by the reputed campaign manage who are not changing their rules after the campaign is ended.

9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which strategy you apply in recent bullish market? on: March 30, 2019, 10:24:19 AM
No one can con-firmly say that this coin will go up or down, everything depends on how much analyse you have done and how much risk you can take it. Some coins will give you profit but some will also give you loss. You have to decide how much profit you will book according to it you have to risk it.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: If you want to be rich..! on: March 30, 2019, 07:51:20 AM
To become rich in your crypto world you must have great patience and confidence to make decisions because there are already many people who are rich in investing and trading if you are always patient and don't panic

not only that we need to be rich, but we also have to work hard, but we also have to measure our abilities. because everyone has different abilities. so in my opinion all need measurement capabilities.

Smart work combine with hard work will give us best result. In cryptocurrency market, beside smart work, we should prepare good psychology because market fluctuation very high and i think can make peoples panic and selling their coin at cheaper price. If we invest in crypto, patienct is important beside smart work.
our preparation as investors was very complicated.we need several technique and preparation about our mental and psychology.if we didnt do this i am sure we will easily felt give up when market crash.

What you all are telling is true, as without patience, strategy and hardwork we cannot achieve our goal and getting rich in crypto this all needs it. You can also trade so that you can gain more profit and if you have purchased on high then your buying price can get averaged. Even in market crash you wont be affected if you are trading.
11  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2013-03-23] 95% of Reported Bitcoin Trading Volume Is 'Fake' on: March 27, 2019, 03:06:21 AM
How do cryptocoin exchanges with fake volume earn money if they are only wash trading with themselves? Also, why are they doing this?

By faking it till you make it?

I've seen quite a few threads on here from newcomers who can't understand why that super amazing exchange that has trillions of users is literally unusable and every single order they attempt never goes through.

They can also point to their 'volume' and charge new projects a large listing fee because of that amazing userbase. The shitcoiners who pay it probably know they're paying for nothing other than bilge but again that 'volume' is going to draw in pinhead investors. It's nothingness built on nothingness but enough real dollars are milked from saps.

What you are telling is for the reason to show the users that this site is having big volumes so that user should invest in their site and trade, so that when they get enough users to scam they will come out with hacking or some other excuses and scam the users. So always take caution when trading with fake volume trading exchanges.
12  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I cash out my BTC now? on: September 01, 2017, 03:38:37 PM

13  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 BTC = 2nd Hand Honda Civic on: September 01, 2017, 03:29:11 PM
Here in my country 1 BTC can buy a land. And if in september the price of bitcoins is higher. Maybe not just land. House and land. So be patient with bitcoin as we get the answer to our poverty. And go ahead and be financially independent

How much does land cost in your country? If you don't mind which country do you live in?

I think a house is still more expensive than 1 Bitcoin surely. But you know better than me. Cheesy

Even in India also you can buy the land but the question is which part of country side you can buy land and what is the size of it. Where i am staying i can buy 30 x 40 SQ.Ft. land by having 1 btc.

20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Asia League Prediction Thread - Win 6 / 2 Lose on: January 01, 2016, 02:56:04 PM
why not take the Western Sydney Wanderers FC ML? they are the leaders standings and odds pretty high for choosing ML.

Adelaide United Includes a good team it's just that they are less good at the beginning of the season thus at risk if you choose Western Sydney ML
I also chose the minimum bet with odds @ 1.30   https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1179019.0

and Full time Western Sydney Wanderers FC 0 - 0 Adelaide United, your prediction draw no bet, so it's safe.

it was really good that you took home or draw win bet, your bet prediction is very good, i will be waiting for your next bet so that i can also get benefited by your prediction
