4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / "error: -rpcss1=1, but bitcoin compiled without full openssl libraries" on: June 18, 2011, 05:19:46 PM
I'm trying to build a php app on localhost. Im following the wiki on how to get bitcoin running, so far I've created a bitcoin.conf file:

Code:
# bitcoin.conf configuration file. Lines beginning with # are comments.

 # Network-related settings:

 # Run on the test network instead of the real bitcoin network.
 testnet=1

 # Connect via a socks4 proxy
 proxy=127.0.0.1:9050

 ##            Quick Primer on addnode vs connect            ##
 ##  Let's say for instance you use addnode=4.2.2.4          ##
 ##  addnode will connect you to and tell you about the      ##
 ##    nodes connected to 4.2.2.4.  In addition it will tell ##
 ##    the other nodes connected to it that you exist so     ##
 ##    they can connect to you.                              ##
 ##  connect will not do the above when you 'connect' to it. ##
 ##    It will *only* connect you to 4.2.2.4 and no one else.##
 ##                                                          ##
 ##  So if you're behind a firewall, or have other problems  ##
 ##  finding nodes, add some using 'addnode'.                ##
 ##                                                          ##
 ##  If you want to stay private, use 'connect' to only      ##
 ##  connect to "trusted" nodes.                             ##
 ##                                                          ##
 ##  If you run multiple nodes on a LAN, there's no need for ##
 ##  all of them to open lots of connections.  Instead       ##
 ##  'connect' them all to one node that is port forwarded   ##
 ##  and has lots of connections.                            ##
 ##       Thanks goes to [Noodle] on Freenode.               ##

5  Other / Beginners & Help / Can I tell which address bitcoins were sent to? on: June 18, 2011, 06:45:57 AM
Sorry this is a really noob question but the site is so big to find an answer so I thought it would be quicker to post here. I have no bitcoins so I can't test this to find out.

What I want to know is say I have two addresses A and B. These are my addresses and I want someone to send bitcoins to me. So if a person sends 1btc to each of those two addresses can I tell on my bitcoin client which addresses they were sent to or will it just show up as one total?

Thanks
6  Bitcoin / Project Development / Integrating BitCoin and trading system into a website? on: March 24, 2011, 02:50:58 AM
Just wondering is there a way to integrate bitcoin with my memberbase so they can transact with each other all on the website without having to leave to go to another? Is there some way to do this securely? Im not sure I follow the Wiki link explaining how to integrate. Is there a better tutorial than that?
