In bear market people don't have the tendency to take risk, so they avoid getting into coins with low cap or relatively new ones. Usually, investors too sell at low price if they can't wait. Bear market isn't really good for conducting ICO I think. Moreover, bounty hunters add to the problem by selling at cheaper price.

In my country, there is no clear stand on the status of cryptocurrencies. Most people have the wrong conception that it is illegal. So, when I try to explain people about cryptos, they usually are wary of it. But I have introduced many people already to the crypto world last year. They took out decent profit from the last pump.

BAKKT launch will definitely going to open the crypto market to the institutional investors. This should bring in more volume, but I doubt that it gonna have any long lasting affect on the market. We might see a short term recovery but that wouldn't be enough to confirm a bull sentiment/run. It is just another futures market but this time with physically backed BTC.

Wait for thanksgiving. If there isn't any trend reversal by then, I would say, not even the BAKKT launch will make any difference. Bull will happen only in 2019. The expected launch of BAKKT should start making difference in the market by thanksgiving. That's the only last hope for any bull this year.

My suggestions would be IOST and REMME. These both coins have good and experienced team at the backened with a potential project. They both can make it big in a year period. From your choices, I would suggest Golem. I personally hold all of these coins as a long term investment. There all are decent mid cap coins.

I usually try to look for the team as much as I could. Usually you can find a loophole in the team's description like when the accounts were created, what are their past experiences etc. Also, you can look for their contract address to see how may tx are happening to give you a rough idea. With so many fake ICO it has become pretty difficult to find a legit bounty/ICO nowadays.

I would say btc , Eth and Eos
I personally like these 3 coins. Because all these coins are in top 10 list. With huge market cap, great pricing and least volatility. These coins are best option for long term holding. According to past price trends these coins gives most stable and profitable returns in long period of time.

Never put all the money in single bucket.
Investing all money in single alt coin have more risk than diversified investment. Always go for diversified protfolio where you will get assured and profitable returns. Though eth have good market reputation but always refer proactive approach.

Market is struggling right now. Not sure if any coin can double your money in just 14 days?
Seems quite difficult. Because market is in red now. Yes you can double your money in cryptos but 2 weeks are  very short period of time. Invest in promising coins and hold for few months only then you can get your desried returns.

I am a trader, so in a way cryptos have become a full day thing for me. I do trade in Forex and share market as well. But cryptos and forex being more volatile consume most of my time. I might join a portfolio management company soon which majorly deals with crypto portfolios. I will happily take crptos as my full time job.

The way other financial markets are moving right now. I expect the investment might flow towards cryptos. Many big institutional names have started supporting cryptocurrencies and are talking about future involvements. All this is indicating towards a positive market sentiment that could bring a green cycle again.

Loss is something that you incur when you actually invest in something. Bounty payment is totally unpredictable until you actually have them in your wallet and ready to sell. I think you mean loss according to the ICO price. If you actually believe in the project, then why not to wait? But as we have seen that ICO tokens are not doing well after listing and tend to go down with time. You can exit. It all depends upon that particular project.

I would suggest you to go for IOST. It is waiting for the breakout now. I have been studying the charts and it could do 300 sats in a month and can also go to 450. Right now it is a good investment in terms of TA. Also, the coin is backed up with a decent and stable project. Therefore, nothing to worry FA wise.

2019 would only be for utility tokens. We did see the hype last year and all this year went in the correction. With correction many shit coins just got lost in the thin air. People are getting mature with their choices in altcoins. Best and safest would be the coins which can have some inherit value through an use case.

I am glad that finally countries are taking a positive stance about cryptocurrencies. Recently we heard about china legalizing cryptocurrnecies, now here comes the Philippines. Asia provides a big user base for cryptos in terms of population of internet users. I hope India to take some positive step for cryptos.

I don't see any signal in the market indicating a bull run. Market is majorly moving sideways with no assured upward/downward movement. Last time too bull run wasn't there until Thanksgiving. I think, if there is any upcoming bull run, it would be clear by November mid or end not before that.

Many people who entered crypto for quick profits have panicked because of this extended bear market. Most of the newbie traders entered when the hype was there that is near ATH. Now when the market has corrected 80%, panic is natural because they are left with bags bought at very high prices.  No one, according to me, would suggest you to panic sell. Panic selling is selling out of emotions without any proper planning. This is never advisable in trades and investments.

It is safe if you take necessary precautions. MEW as a website isn't harmful, but there are many phishing websites and viruses which can read your passwords and private keys. So, you need to be cautious of the system you are using for making your wallet. Make sure you use a virus free system and visit the right site.

It largely depends upon the time period of the bull run. If it gets extended to a month or two, ETH can successfully break its last time ATH. But i it short lived or gets resistance in terms of people selling their bags in initial phase of the bull run, ETH might just go 2x-3x that is $400-$600 at max.

If BAKKT launches successfully in December, bitcoin can do a lot better than $12k. Moreover, China has changed its stand about cryptos once again but in positive direction. this could also pump the market. I am expecting an inflow of new money to cryptos that can boost the price and bring a trend reversal.
