1  Economy / Digital goods / [WTB] Active Gaming Site on: December 03, 2014, 01:29:15 AM
I'm seeking a (as close as possible) fully operational gaming site, something original that sticks out from the rest of the pack.  No "scripts for sale" please.  If you're sitting on a project that is in need of completion or just don't have the time to promote your site send me a PM and let's see if we can make a deal.

Cheers!

Keith,

Wow, thank you for putting yourself out there with this offer. I don't know if it qualifies as an interesting idea, but I run a small-time blog (btcbible.com) and made the silly mistake of hosting it with GoDaddy. I still use the GoDaddy account I created almost a decade ago out of bad habit and was lazy when I setup the site.

Well, now the problem is that my site is getting a little more attention that I thought it would, and I'd like to be prepared to scale if necessary. Right now, the traffic isn't huge (a couple thousand hits when I put out an article) but I also want to setup a bitcoin faucet to reward subscribers to my blog, and I have been told that I should switch hosts if I want to do that securely. I should also mention that while I'm moderately competent with basic "catalog" web development, I have never done a site migration. So I would definitely ask for your help with that.

Anywho, whether or not you decide to take my site under the wings of your server farm, thank you for your offer to the bitcoin community.

Vires en Numeris,
DR | BTCBible.com

Sure thing, please throw me a PM with your contact details and we can discuss your needs and get you all setup.

Best regards,

Keith

Hey all,

I haven't been all too active on this forum, yet I've been following Bitcoin for quite a bit now and want to support those who have great ideas and need a little boost.  I run a small private VMWare cloud collocated in a datacenter in Portland, Oregon at the Pittock Block building (the Internet Hotel here in Portland).  I have a dedicated gigabit connection on a router with a 10 gigabit connection to the net, along with plenty of processing power to accommodate many small or a few large projects.   My server farm is currently idle, waiting for some load.  Considering I don't have an active project I figured this would be a great way to get myself more involved in the community.

If you have a great idea and can give me a rundown of your idea along with your server requirements I am going to donate my processing power, bandwidth and talent to projects in need.  I can provide dedicated hosting services and/or full VM instances with any Operating System you require.  My 9-5 (right) job is as a Senior Server Engineer/IT Consultant (15+ years of experience) and I'm happy to give of my talents as well (as time allows).  If you're interested please drop me a PM or reply to the thread and we can discuss your needs and how I can help.

All the best,

Keith

Hi BTC gamers!

This is the first of many updates for a new project, Spin for Coin.  We are currently in the developmental stages for a game that is going to offer an interactive game of chance to the Bitcoin community.  We're working towards a totally original and dynamic site that really encompasses the live gaming experience and look forward to providing you with the next generation of gaming with coin.  We're targeting a launch in Q1 2013.  At this point we are taking signups for those interested in getting paid to help us test in a closed beta.  Please drop by the site and signup for this opportunity or to make sure that you're the first to know about our latest developments.

BTW, from what I've seen thus far there's nothing currently like my project, other than being a game of chance funded by virtual currency, really looking forward to the reception!

Not gonna go much into any details right now as I'm still in the developmental phases, yet if you're interested in keeping an eye on progress.  We'll be paying testers during our closed beta, if you're interested by and give us your contact info before our go-live, of course I'll also be sure to work on a thread here in the gambling section once I can actually post there. Smiley.

It's a personal project... my "real" job gives me some of the necessary skills, yet I don't have budget to hire myself. Wink.

Hi all, I seem to be restricted to this space, I'm working currently working on a project that involves Bitcoins.  I've been using Bitcoin for about 6 months, yet I'm getting much more intimate with the system.  I'm a Senior Consultant at a large IT consultancy, so I have my roots in technology and I am enjoying watching the growth of the Bitcoin economy.

All the best!
