1  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Paypal a scam? on: September 18, 2016, 03:26:56 PM
Indeed PayPal is a big corporation with millions of clients. As such, they have also employed thousands of people globally to handle the multi-million clients. One thing I realized about PayPal is that they don't have a centralized way of handling customer complaints. This results to a lot of confusion because one issue might be handled by 5 different customer service agents in different ways. That is why many people complain of incompetent staff. I also have a very bad experience with PayPal.
2  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ARE NEWBIES CONSIDERED AS FOOLS? on: September 18, 2016, 02:20:37 PM
My view is that everybody at one time has to be new to something. All of us never new even how to read and write until we went to school. When you get a new job there will be things that you don't know and therefore have to ask. When you travel to a new town you will need to ask around to get a proper direction. Similarly, people who are new on this forum have to ask around before they get familiar. Being new to something doesn't mean that you are a fool.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Genesis-mining.com || World's leading hashpower provider! on: September 18, 2016, 10:15:23 AM
I came across this thread and wondered whether Genesis -Mining is still operational. I have a mining contract with genesis-mining and I no longer receive payouts. I don't know what went wrong because when I started, I was receiving 50,000 satoshi everyday. This amount later reduced to 1000 satoshi per day and now no longer receive any payments. Can someone enlighten me

We have been in business for well over two years. We have grown quite a bit since the beginning, and we will continue expanding and innovating our services well into the future. So yes, we are most certainly still operational Smiley

For an exact answer on the situation with your contract, please contact our Customer Support, either through your Genesis Mining account, under My Account > Contact Support, which will create a ticket at our support site, or directly through our support site at https://genesismining.freshdesk.com. Please remember that we can only comment on individual issues and tickets through our official support channels.

By posting here I thought it would be of general importance to the other users. Because you want to maintain your credibility, it would be important to address such issues publicly to avoid any dissent from potential clients. Anyway, I will raise a ticket with support and most probably update the feedback here. I hope it will not be offensive.

Hello Condoras,

I am happy that you started your own thread and it is amazing. We traded severally in your former thread which you partnered with Epicrate. I would like to continue borrowing from you. In your OP I see you mentioned that you can secure bitgold (now Goldmoney) as collateral. If it is true then I would like to borrow using goldmoney as collateral then I continue earning from signature campaign using this account.

Hello there babs,

Thank you for your positive words, it really makes me happy.  Cheesy

It would be a pleasure to continue do bussines with you.
Yes, i take Goldmoney as Collateral but i will need some time because something is change and i need to communicate with them.
Can you wait so i can talk with them and clear this?

If you are in a hurry and need a Loan, make a Loan Request and i will consider to give it to you without your Account as Collateral.

Thanks Condoras for the trust. I will go ahead and make a request because I have an urgent bill to pay. I wouldnt  mind if you took this account as collateral but it depends on your decision.

8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: September 16, 2016, 01:05:07 PM
So many suggestions here but what I know is that gambling is a serious addiction to most people. That's why even organizations have come up to help those addicted to gambling. I believe the addiction is brought about by the desire to get instant riches which is a fallacy to many. The only way to keep off gambling is to avoid it completely and be contented with the little you have. Try to grow riches slowly, there will be a day when you will become rich as long as you work hard.

10  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: September 16, 2016, 12:53:04 PM
Earning bitcoin as a salary depends on several issues. Is your employee ready to pay you in Bitcoins? At the same time, it also depends on whether the employer is ready to pay you in a dollar equivalent at the time of paying the salary. Otherwise, you might end up receiving peanuts when the price if bitcoin has gone down.

12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jobs on: September 16, 2016, 12:35:56 PM
Are there any jobs on this forum other than being an escrow agent, in a signature campaign, manager of a signature campaign or having your own business?

Smiley

Basically what you have mentioned are the jobs that can be found on this forum, rather, they are the sources of income available here. If you are looking for jobs that could earn you income in terms of bitcoin, then you can look for xbtfreelancer. People normally post freelance jobs there and they pay in Bitcoins.

After going through this thread, I have noticed that there is something fishy going on with the OP. First, the amount that he has put at stake for the loans is too high for heavens sake. Secondly, he wants people to sign a message yet himself he doesn't have a clue on the same, thirdly, he claims to be a newbie and therefore doesn't understand how business is contacted on bitcointalk.org. Fourthly,he can not prove ownership of any valid bitcoin address that he uses. The addresses he has provided has very little transactions with zero balance - which address did he transact the 33btc?. i suspect he is out to get peoples accounts and hold them for good.

I finally found the address that was used to send me the 33 BTC (1 BTC the first day, and 32 BTC the next day). I am TheHellboundHarlot, and this address is 17HhFrhTf4AG8Q1Gpirsm7SFvZo3eA5uGN.

No offense madam, we just have to be very careful because trust is the most important thing when it comes to forum accounts and lending of coins. Kindly consider using an escrow and i will be your frequent client. I always borrow and repay in seven days. I just want to know how safe my account will be before i borrow from you.

I completely understand that. I got really excited when I got all of those bitcoins and lost a bit of them because I wasn't careful, so I can relate. Do you have a preferred escrow?

I don't have any particular escrow at the moment we can get information from this forum. If you can promise safety of my account, then we can transact. I also send you a personal message. Kindly check
