2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will anyone admit that bitcoin is looking like a sophisticated ponzi scheme? on: April 11, 2014, 11:12:49 PM
Pump and Dump - yes
Ponzi - impossible by design

yeah I guess if you want to get technical with the definition, it is more of a pump and dump. Although it has a lot of similarities to a Ponzi Scheme.

So already in your second post you've conceded that the premise of your thread is flawed and your thread is completely useless. If you had any self-respect you would delete it.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: America's First Bitcoin Gun Store on: March 18, 2014, 02:32:38 PM
"This isnt about you clearing a building as a one man army Haha!  This is about your personal protection, and the protection of your family"

Right ...

That's why they have semi automatic assault rifles that can fire 60 rounds per minute.

Because as we all know, a minimum of 60 bullets sprayed all over the room is necessary to stop a burglar.

-B-

So everything that's unnecessary should be illegal? Who gets to decide what's unnecessary? Thankfully I live in a country where the population doesn't think that criminals should have better access to weapons than law-abiding citizens.

That is great. It is a good incentive for other shops if sales grow because of the adoption of Bitcoin.

Off topic:

Devil's advocate:
Are guns really necessary? A lot of countries (mostly European ones) have much stricter rules on fire arms, and are doing just fine.
Or have even better statistics on criminal, drugs, and accidents related incidents.
Does the USA have such fundamental differences with other countries?

To answer your last question, yes. The right to gun ownership in the states is based on principle, not utilitarianism, pragmatism, or statistics. It's not about how many people get shot or whether certain gun types are "necessary", it's about your fundamental, inherent right to defend yourself, your community, and your country.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Second and Third Bitcoin gun stores coming soon world wide on: March 10, 2014, 12:03:06 PM
From the video it's about Texas where firearms are allowed with a legislation, the title is misleading.

But worldwide it is illegal!

And my personnal stance on this is : NO! I disagree with firearms being sold to people, this open access to firearms to responsable and at the same time to irresponsable people, it makes the danger of crime and retaliation on a whole other level. I prefer to live in a community where no one has fire arms than a community where criminals have firearms and I'm allowed to buy one to defend myself, it's still to risky! not to mention the accidents possibility

Just put a sign in front of your house saying no guns allowed. That will keep the criminals out.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin a white/asian thing? on: March 09, 2014, 09:53:16 PM
I'm not white or asian and I don't give a fuck about people's race/gender. In fact, I love bitcoin for being one of those things free from that kind of discussion because it's race irrelevant.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] DarkCoin | First Anonymous Coin (DarkSend) | No Premine | Runs 30% cooler than scrypt on: March 02, 2014, 11:20:40 PM
Hi, I found this thread on reddit. So I'm not seeing on the first page how to mine this or what time of algo it is? Can I just point cgminer scrypt or guiminer scrypt at one of the pools with the same settings I already used for doge?

If you have cpu, try finding the source or binaries of cpu miner 1.2c or 1.3 with AES-AVX instructions (if your cpu supports it).
If you have gpu, you'll need this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=475795.0

edit: gpu miner info needs to be added to the first post.

Thanks for the info guys.

I built a gaming computer and as a side benefit realized that I could mine coin. My card is a radeon 7970 and in 2 weeks I've made 2 coins, so it's like a little rebate. I know that I've joined too late to get any serious coin.
