5  Bitcoin / Press / [2016-07-11]Bitcoin miners face fight for survival as new supply halves on: July 11, 2016, 09:35:28 AM
KEFLAVIK: Marco Streng is a miner, though he does not carry a pick around his base in south-western Iceland. Instead, he keeps tens of thousands of computers running 24 hours a day in fierce competition with others across the globe to earn bitcoins.

In the world of the web-based digital currency, it is not central banks that add new money to the system, but rather computers like Streng's which are awarded fresh bitcoins in return for processing blocks of the latest bitcoin transactions.

8  Bitcoin / Press / [2016-07-11]Bitcoin Price Watch; A Fresh Week! on: July 11, 2016, 09:12:33 AM
Well, we went into the weekend expecting a considerable amount of volatility, and unfortunately, have come out of it pretty disappointed. The reward halving promised to polarize sentiment, and to some extent it did, but this hasn’t really translated to any real price movements – at least, that is, nothing sustained. Price is down a little bit on the end of last week, and we may see some action today if volume picks up (main stream media out of the US will likely cover the halving and – in turn – draw some speculative attention to the space). Whatever happens, we are going to set up against price as per the rules of our standard intraday strategy. This way, we are able to draw a quick profit from a scalp position if price moves a bit, and also get in on the right side of any sustained movements if we do get any volume driven action.

9  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do islam hates people? on: July 11, 2016, 09:11:00 AM
Most religions can be ignored. As an American, I don't have to fear the actions of Hindus or Buddhists, I probably have more to fear from oddball local Christians than from those to 'foreign' religions.  Islam is different,  a minority of Muslims are motivated to act against America and Americans based on religious ideology.  Muslim terrorist think it is just fine to kill any old American regardless.  So Chechen boys blew up a bomb in Boston even if the US is not directly involved with Chechnya and that the US can be seen as opposing Russian actions (even if not very actively).

In short Islam is in a very different category than most other religions.
10  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you think about 9/11 mystery? on: July 11, 2016, 09:08:12 AM
9/11 was the game plan made by former president George Bush in his hate towards Muslim community and Muslim countries all over the world.on the basis of that 9/11 event America attacked many Muslim countries, about 2.5 million people died from that day and they all were innocent, which were pushed to that war according to the game plan.

12  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How old is earth on: July 11, 2016, 09:04:38 AM
Scientists have calculated that Earth is 4.54 billion years old, with an error range of 50 million years or only 6000 years old as the Bible teaches

i think Scientists answer are more relevant

15  Bitcoin / Press / [2016-07-11]Bitcoin mining rewards just dropped by 50 per cent on: July 11, 2016, 08:55:37 AM
It just became significantly harder to mine Bitcoins. The halving event rolled around on July 9, and means that the reward for mining just dropped by 50 per cent. The cryptocurrency is generated by machines around the world ‘mining’ for new bitcoins.

Rewards of bitcoins are handed out for giving over computing power to process bitcoin transactions. It’s a very, very slow way to make money – and it just got a whole lot slower. While there were previously 25 bitcoins (around $16,000) available globally to miners every 10 minutes, the figure is now just 12.5 bitcoins. But what does this mean for the digital currency?
