Hello guys, There are many profit calculators out there that make a monthly estimation based on today's difficulty. In my simply javascript website below, you can make a profit estimation while considering the increase in difficulty and decrease in resale price of your rig. radres.github.ioplease let me know your comments.

Hello guys,
I am planning on buying either one of them. In my local store, they have a price difference of 20%. I wonder if I buy the cheaper one I'll be losing value.

Hello Guys, I have realized that doing a simple math can go long ways. I have put some numbers in and see that mining is not as profitable as you'd think. So yesterday I have written that math in javascript to share with people. You can check it out and let me know: radres.github.ioYou can be harsh with your constructive critism. It is the first time I used HTML and javascript. Some notes: Difficulty is a function that increases linearly, if you look at the older data you can see that it is the case (we may see a big jump as 480 comes in, in a month tho) Rig resale price is exponentially decreasing with half time of you specify. Yet 2.5 month seemed right according to older data.

Hello everyone,
I wanted to test the waters for how the altcoin mining works. I have an APU with an integrated graphics card yet I wasn't able to get it to work. When I use ethminer, it shows that it is mining with 1-2 MHashes but nothing appears in nanopool website (even though I waited quite a lot)
When I used a different miner (Claymore dual mining), it shows my GPU as "spectre" and mines with 0 hashes.
I know the GPU may be too slow but I wanted to try things out before buying a dedicated GPU for it.
Thanks

Hello and excuse my newbieness,
I know that the miners are taking care of the transactions. Does that mean, in the halving, if many miners shut their miners down, the verification time of the transactions will go up?

I assume that I was not paying for the electricity. On bitmaintech.com S7+PSU+shipping is around 1300 dollars. with current difficulty you can mine 240 dollars a month or 120 dollars till the next dif increase. assume an avg. 5 percent dif increase in every 2 weeks, the total amount I'll mine: The regarding code: And the results are, even with free electricity you should have avg. difficulty increase below 9% to get RoI this results made me pull back from investing in an S7 what are your thoughts?

So I'm planning to buy an S7. I understand that it doesn't come with a PSU so I'll buy that too.
What else? There is something called IO board. Should I also include it to get it working?

Hello everyone!
I need to let you know that I have never mined before. I was considering getting an S7. I need to ask you how noisy it is? If it is too noisy for sleeping, is there a way to isolate it?
thank you

Hello everyone,
You can understand from the title that I have no technical details about this.
In where I live I have only one ethernet line. That is regulated by the facility I'm living in. I am using it for my main computer and use hotspot for my other devices. I do not know if they can block my access if I try to multiply it using a switch.
What do you guys think?
depends on the rest of the setup... If you're behind a router that has it's own DHCP server, you can usually just install a switch. If not, a router has to be used, the WAN port connected to your ethernet cable, the LAN ports for your internal network. Offcourse, it has to be setup correctly. When you connect your pc with the ehternet outlet, does your current ip address start with 192.168.x.x or 10.0.x.x? In that case, you're probably behind a router It starts with 139... so if I get a router I can connect more devices?

yardimlar icin tesekkurler.
sanirim bitmain'den s7 getirtecegim. fakat gerek zorluk yukselmeleri gerekse 6 ay (shipment cikarsak 5 ay) sonraki blok yarilanmasini filan dusununce roi giderek zorlasacak gibi geliyor.
