1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WARP - Something different - VPN Wallet BETA Release - Bittrex/YoBit on: March 12, 2016, 06:34:40 PM
Hey everyone,

I would like to hear some of the neat applications that you all have used a VPN connection for. I'm really not interested in illegal and the obvious, but things like small business applications and productivity based reasons.

I have clients that are really excited about the WARP vpn and I can't wait to introduce them to this solution. They do a lot of traveling and online shopping for their local shop while at trade shows all over the place.

lets talk vpn

mephoria

Yea, I had a question about the VPN. Who runs the servers? Is it shape, or are these vpn servers anyone can connect to with or without the warp wallet?

why is dev here responding to questions and fudders? shouldn't he be busy coding? he has been dumping his premine this entire time and hyping up his vaporware. expecting to see price below ICO within a month.

Whoa! Check this out! Newbie account, trying to fud, I think we found a perfect example of a malignant tumor!

Been watching this conversation, and it just makes me sad. Here is a coin with real potential, and not just potential to make people rich. Something that could really bring crypto to the masses. And look what happens, the dev posts it on bitcointalk, and what does he get? Cancer. That's what happens here, good coins come to get killed by profit mongering idiots. Let the dev actually work on the coin and not have to check in every minute to keep the FUD under control.

Oop, looks like the source is not up to date. It's a good thing I have a copy of the VPN src because the binary is for 64 bit.

Hmm, when I run the binary I get exec format error. Thanks though Pokey.

Anyone else tried the new wallet? I compiled it, but there is no VPN option...

Well, if the slack is down I can do one of two things regarding the tip bot. 1: Make a new slack. 2: Send everyone their coins. Thoughts?

Lol, that's exactly what I was thinking. Anyways, any exchange will be good for WARP, so I'll keep WARP in the lead.

Just a suggestion Shapetwist, but adding a install section to the makefile would make things a lot easier.

Well, I'd love to get this project off the ground, and if you need any help from a C programmer, I'm here.

How long is the crowdsale, and what is the goal for funding? Like 1 week and 2 BTC?

Can you give a giveaway coin dev?
Just hit the faucets for an hour. You'll probably be able to make .5 mBTC.

Not that I know any better than anyone on the forum, but I think you're right. There is no incentive for independent users to mine, and the dev is kickstarting the POS. Keep in mind though, anyone mining also gets the tx fee. I have invested in this coin, and I hope it goes well!
