Mt Gox is the best place.
I dare to disagree. They're the biggest, yes. NOT the best.

Besides the hacks that have taken place, there are other reasons why I prefer other exchanges over MtGox.

With their 80% exchange market share, they're too big a player and getting too much influence. Not good for the decentralized nature of Bitcoin.

Furthermore, MtGox has all kinds of ridiculous identification requirements. You have to provide photographic identification, proof of residency information, and whatnot. Well pardon the French but I say f*ck that shit. I prefer not to share my details with anyone when dealing with bitcoins, and it shouldn't be necessary in the first place.

I personally like bitstamp.net a lot. Very low fees (lower than MtGox), a very easy yet functional interface, it just works very well. And no identification required whatsoever.

Totally aggreed.

take a look at https://btc-e.com/ they have a lot of options for deposit/withdrawal
