You realized that the new blockchain.info wallet is also a deterministic wallet and that therefore all you need to do is keep the SEED (12 words) and this backs up everything about the wallet (including all transactions etc.) just like all other deterministic wallets like Electrum and MultibitHD, right?
I don't know about that. I've tried restoring the wallet using the seed on both wallet. Multibit HD asked for a datestamp which is only available on wallet backups created using Multibit HD and Electrum didn't even accept the seed. Electrum needs its own seed and the seed in electrum is case sensitive, if you try to restore your blockchain wallet seed via electrum it will definitely not work. And I am really surprised like a legendary member is defending the worst of all wallets blockchain.info, everything may happen inside my computer but it also happens inside a browser which has much higher risks, rather than doing the transaction for example via electrum servers which got nothing stored on them(private keys are on my PC and not on my browser) anyway to the OP be smart and switch as soon as possible to a desktop wallet as compared to online wallets are safer usually and I have never heard a single story for example of Electrum being hacked, different with blockchain which we all know a lot of stories. Yes, with the old version blockchain.info wallet, we have heard the missing funds from the wallets from time to time. But for this new HD wallets which is for addressing all of the existing issues. Security and user experience has been improved a lot. I haven't heard any hacks or missing funds yet since the upgrade. |

Cant agree more. $5 seems reasonable for ETH Why 5$? Why do not 10-12$? Many people go to buy Lisk, and forget for some time about popular last month ETH ppl are going for lisk, which is at the hype just like the ETH pump before. ETH can go further lower at any time. |

Bitcoin has first mover's advantage and build a solid user base. But it lags behind other altcoins in development or improvement. Many other altcoins has greatly supplemented it with new useful features and real life applications, like ETH, Maid, FCT etc. If Bitcoin is like this forever, I bet it will fail in the end.

I would buy the top 5 altcoins, like Ethereum, BTS, Monero, NXT, Ripple due to that they are all under value. Ppl are dumping altcoins. It is tiime to buy them now.

A few points to make:
1. fail to understand the concept of digital currency, how does it have value? It is just like the digital things, like text, video, music saved on our hard drive.
2. cannot accept the volatile price.
2. difficulty to use it. lacking of sufficient knowledge to keep bitcoin secure.

I think it's actually on topic. Different addresses for each received transaction is a huge thing. Is Bread the one that does dynamic fees, too?
No, I don't believe it takes out any fees at all... just takes out the $.07 or so in miners fees. But changing the public address isn't really that big of a deal in terms of keeping your transactions untraceable, IMO... all of the previous transactions before can be linked by following where each transaction goes too. But for example when using a wallet that mixes coins automatically when sending coins out, now that would help out a lot in keeping everything untraceable... I would input the "M" word here now, but I'm going to keep things on topic.  By fees I meant the dynamic miner's fees. Like instead of always being 0.0001 BTC, it will choose whatever is the lowest that will get it confirmed (usually less). I forgot what wallet does that. electrum will automatically calculate the minimum required fees for the tx to get included in the next block. But many ppl are using different wallets or online one. They couldn't do the calculation. So We have to calulate ourself based on cointape.com. Easy and quick! |

It is impossible. One exchange offers the trading of BTC, USD pair. You can use dollar buy BTC , or use BTC to buy dollar. How could you do the arbitrage in one exchange? Except you buy at a price, then wait for a while and sell out if the price increases later. It is just trading btcusd pair. |
