I would really like to be promoted to junior member. Here's why:

• I know a lot about public key cryptography and how it relates to Bitcoin
• I'm learning a lot about the newer Bitcoin mining trends, including ASICs (already preordered a Jalapeño from BFL)
• I generally form coherent sentences
• I'd really like to be a part of the community and get involved with the mining forum. Though I'm fairly new to Bitcoin, I don't ask stupid questions and I pick up new things quickly.

I have a few labs of computers at my school at my disposal for mining, a pretty decent working knowledge of BC (always learning though), and I'm really trying to stay up to date with the latest mining gear. I'm pretty new to bitcoin. I'm learning a lot and have several labs worth of computers at school at my disposal (interested in mining). However, I just preordered an ASIC mining chip from BFL, and hopefully that will give me a good start with some of the newer mining related gear. Doing this very casually... I'm more interested in bitcoin than in trying to turn any profits.

Bitcoin is a pretty amazing thing. It says more to me than just "Look! I took this thing and made it open source!" It speaks of what the world is turning into... a shared space. Open source is fixing so much of what's wrong in this world. I really want to be a part of this awesome community. Thanks guys.
