Wow this seems like a really cool idea but wouldn't just a simple java game be insecure? Couldn't it be easily hacked? And when can we try this out?

Hi, I'm new to this whole SatoshiDice business and so I tried to test it out to see how it works and I can't tell if it works. So I hear about these other currencies like litecoin and namecoin but what are they and why? What's wrong with bitcoins? Should I care about these other currencies? Should I mine them? I've looked around for a while and I can't find anything that really explains it or tries to sell me the idea of that it's good and I should care so maybe you guys could help. Thanks in advance.

I won the .01 BTC on my first try and from the looks of it it says that it is out of bitcoins to give at the moment. Does this mean I will never get them or I will get them once you get some more bitcoins to pay people?
