spammers always exploiting us by  email borne virus and malware infections.

To bitcoin02:  Goodjob you did a WHOIS request. /clap

To josephilton: What in God's holy fuck are you talking about?

"Spammers always exploiting us by email borne virus and malware infections." Seriously?

1.) Priced out so spammers do NOT exploit our services.
2.) Viruses are spread by email only by idiots.  Idiots probably like yourself who use simple passwords that are likely able to be dictionary attacked.
3.) Viruses that spread by email are also (majority speaking), FWD to other idiot people who will then open the attachment.

Don't be a fucktard and learn how to use the interwebs.

Jimmy,

Your service doesn't seem to provide SSL:

https://fakemail.me/

End-to-end encryption is crucial to protect the privacy of your users, especially if they are using an anonymizing proxy like TOR, or if they are using a public WiFi. Any data sent in clear can ( and probably is ) being sniffed by TOR exit nodes if your users are using TOR. In the case of the form in your homepage, anyone can sniff the traffic to associate a bitcoin address to an e-mail.

Just a heads-up to make your service safer Wink

Cheers

Hey thanks for the update.  I'm not sure why I completely skipped you know.. THE MOST important part.  Good catch, I'll update it and give you a free account for that.

I will have it fixed shortly, will update the thread when it's finished.  I will still accept payments of course, since this is only a small issue to get patched up.

ciphermonk, if you want a free FakeMail.me send me a PM and I'll get you setup.

Seems kinda pointless when you can use http://tormail.org for free.

Yes that's true.  However, it's a highly profiled email address among anonymous email sources.

Having to pay a fee will eliminate so many users from bombarding the system causing it to run dog shit slow half the time and it's not ran on nginx (or used to, as I have seen it when it fails what httpd server software they were/are running) and we use litespeed, thus making the performance faster for more users.

To each their own.  It's a new service; you get 250mb of space.
