3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: July 18, 2016, 03:08:20 PM
when will Lisk get access to the ICO Funds.

the project has gone great so far, but not much is going to happen without the ICO funds being used correctly to move the project in a positive direction with momentum.

there is lots of new Blockchains coming to market in the next 12 months & existing blockchains improving.

Timing is critical with everything, i suggest employing 2-3 top level developers to work on the protocol / code as soon as possible.

Really top of the notch people that can move Lisk Blockchain to another level/

Unless Lisk has something different to offer fairly quickly, it will be hard to get access to big projects in the market as competition is improving & increasing.

Over 9million in ICO funds if used correctly should establish Lisk long term but i emphasize time is very  important. need to get early market advantage before all the new blockchains pop up.

watching carefully the progress in the next 2-3 months, everything should be in place in this time frame to gain momentum.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: July 02, 2016, 06:11:49 PM
Hey guys.. Im new to NEM, thinking about buying some, a big amount about 5-15 btc not decided how much yet.

im doing my research now, can the knowledgeable NEM users that are here for tech not the price let me know why NEM is a good altcoin compared to the 500 other altcoins out there.

i guess the community here know why the coin has been pumping,
like any pump just before halving im a bit suspicious!!

was there some genuine news that meant the coin would be effected directly which would mean demand for the coin would be up or is it just some pump group for halving trying to get more BTC.

would really appreciate the experience NEM users letting me know what they think ?

thank you   Huh Grin

My advice to you would be not to ask about it here, in this thread. It would be pretty much like asking the religious fanatics about existance of the god. Pretty much everyone here would always tell you that its "still cheap", no matter what the current price is, that if you dont buy ASAP you will miss the train, that its going to be 1XEM=1$ soon etc.

Apply your own logic and reasoning. And remember - if it looks to good to be true, its most likely is.

And no, i dont have desperate "buy orders" waiting to scoop "cheap XEM". This rise was a pretty obvious manipulation, and i really wish it would be possible to open a short position on XEM (and you should actually ask yourself why its not possible on polo).

Anyway, any TA analysis and common sense should tell you that at its current price its a pretty horrible buy, like buying LTC @25$ or dogecoin at 140sats, after the peak of their bubble. But peoples greed&hope usually ignores common sense, no matter how many times history repeats itself.

yeah LTC at 25$ was mad, made no sense buying the very top

you think the XEM bubble is over, was only a few days long

All the coins were created at birth. There is no inflation.

As for sinister people holding millions, the process for weeding out initial stakeholders was extremely intensive, perhaps too intensive in the view of a few people, so the initial distribution is nothing like as bad as NXT was.

The distribution was spread between a couple of thousand or so people and there were opportunities to cash in before the coin even launched. It's been around for a good while so quite a few will have dumped and spread them.

No idea about the pump, but my guess it was ETH/DAO money looking for a new toy so it may not last. Having said that it's on a lot more radars now so perhaps they'll become enamoured of it.

The volume was huge , still is on polo, was over 10kbtc at one point.

has there been no recent news, someone told me something about japan?

For a start, NEM is not an "altcoin" in other words, its been developed from ground up with no BTC code, its unique unlike all the copycat BTC/LTC clones out there.

NEM has a very advanced blockchain designed for high transaction rates in future, the blockchain has already been independently tested by third parties and financial institutions are trailing this technology as we speak.

There is much more than this that i could go on several pages, but basically the results speak for themselves and we are not driven by any hype, the proof is in the pudding. Smiley

thanks for your response.
every altcoin page you go to you will get the same sort of response, our coin/code is unique, not that im doubting you in anyway but that doesnt fill me with confidence.

the price has been veru steady for months, some sort of development or news must have cause the recent price action, im just trying to understand if its a good long term investment or the recent price action is due to some pump group.

i asked on tradingview bot nobody knew anything, is NEM numbers fixed or new coins mined daily like eth, i dont like investing in coins with the daily inflation, is nem growing daily or fixed.

only info i found online was the fact that 60-70 btc invested in ICO ? is that correct? if so that is very scary considering that would mean there is some huge bag holders out there with millions if not billions of coins that could dump?

13  Economy / Exchanges / Re: is this a Scam or Legit?? transfers - 30 countries Currency Accepted !? on: January 28, 2016, 11:31:09 AM
I don't know anything about cryptocapital.co. I would never send them money without checking them out thoroughly first. There are many options for buying bitcoins. Bitfinex, Bitstamp, and BTC-e are not located in the U.S. Why not choose a better-known company?

Did someone at Coinapult actually recommend them to you, or do you believe that Coinapult is involved because their logo is on the website? I wouldn't be surprised if nobody at Coinapult has ever heard of them, despite both companies being in Panama City.

Yeah i understood that but coinapult is advertising their services on its website, stating you need to open a crypto account to be able to use coinapult in the USA.

The issue is global transaction services (hk) limited, they have bad reviews online & thats the account information i received from crytocapital to deposit into my account, i dont get why a company pananma city is using a company in hongkong for its payment processing,  GTSHK does not have a good reputation online but i dont if those reviews are real! i seen one review saying they scammed 23Million British sterling but the thing is there is noway to know if these reviews are real as sources are not reliable.

i am just hoping someone here has some previous experience or can see from their websites if its scam or not, i dont think i will send 5000$ for first transaction, any idea what amount i should sent.

One thing did freak me out, once you log into your crypto account they have a section called missing funds, you fill in the details of a transaction if your bank transfer is not received ?? Huh Huh is that normal?
14  Economy / Exchanges / is this a Scam or Legit?? transfers - 30 countries Currency Accepted !? on: January 28, 2016, 02:42:44 AM
Has anyone ever used this site!!  Undecided

www.cryptocapital.co

i would really appreciate some of you with some experience to help me out, i want to buy 5000$ of bitcoins every 3 months, my first ever transaction is now, im new to the bitcoin phenomenon so i dont want to have a good first experience.

it was a pain in the backside registering, lots of security measures, they create a bank account for you & you can transfer 30 different currencies which you can use to buy bitcoins on exchanges. i been looking for this service. the site looks legitimate & they have some reliable partnerships with companies like coinapult.com.

Cryptocapital its basically a bank account that use for crypto Currencies like bitcoin.

Coinapult.com have been around for years & they have a good reputation in the community, this was the main reason i decided to give cryptocapital a shot.

Once my account was approved by them i went ahead to transfer funds, the Bank receiving the money is in czech republic,  Roll Eyes
checked out the bank its fine, big proper bank in that country so no issues there. ( CESKA SPORITELNA A.S. )

The issue is the company receiving the funds!! its in hong kong,
Global Transaction Services (HK) Limited also known as GTSHK , the website looks fine, there was some scam alerts about them online but not like proper forums like bitcointalk, more random sites or blogs, its a company in hongkong, their website comes up on google but i see a few google results with word scam!!  Huh Embarrassed
now im not sure if its someone just trying destroy the reputation of GTSHK or if really they are scammers.

Usually i would run a mile seeing some bad reviews online but im not sure this time as surely a company like Coinapult.com would not partner up with scammers, if cryptocapital is using GTSHK which seems to have a bad reputation.

here is the message & i quote from the crypto site? this only shows up on the funding instructions page!!
"Global Transaction Services (HK) Limited is the payment processor for Crypto Capital Corp (Crypto Capital). The funding instructions above are unique to your account, and funds sent using these instructions, precisely as written, will be credited to your account with Crypto Capital automatically. "

if anyone could help me out would really appreciate it, dont want to burn my money but also dont want to believe in fake looking bad reviews.

The reason i need this service is because all the big exchanges require US bank accounts, i dont live in the US so i dont have a US account, if anyone knows of any reputable exchanges accepting international bank accounts please let me know, i have no issue with verification just want to find an easy way to transfer money to exchanges to buy bitcoins without having a american bank account,
i thought i had found this but now im not sure if Cryptocapital is a scam or not!!
