1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Are Just Too Stupid to Use Bitcoin Right Now on: June 26, 2016, 10:32:20 PM
Yes, I agree with OP on this, people are too stupid to use Bitcoin nowadays it seems.. Maybe thats why mining clients/pools like minergate are so popular Huh
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Ethereum (A call to arms, referendum, DAO hack) on: June 24, 2016, 10:11:39 PM
Interesting news from the world of altcoins, the vote for what will happen in response to the DAO hack may see the will of the consensus effectively squashed by "big money", unless we get more miners on the network for the upcoming vote.

Interesting Reddit article on the subject,

https://www.reddit.com/r/ethereum/comments/4ppghb/a_call_to_arma_mine_for_the_referendum/

I've started mining Ethereum after reading this article, what do you guys think on this, is there a chance the will of the people will be squashed by big $?

3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Any tips ? How to prevent scammers and orher pishing site? on: June 24, 2016, 06:22:34 AM
Even if some websites attract you with high profiting methods, try to be away from it. Also if you plan to invest, then start with a small amount. So that if its a scam your loss won't be much.

Very true, advice noted!

6  Other / Off-topic / Re: How would you guys react if you guys lost 1, 000, 000 bitcoin? on: June 24, 2016, 05:34:11 AM
First of all, I would never be able to get 1 million BTC. If I had that amount, I would own 1/15 of all the BTC available and could control the market myself.

Never say never!

If I had that sum - then lost it - what a rollercoaster that would be.. I'd probably make it through it with a lot of weed but yea that would hurt. Cheesy
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Does it have a POSITIVE IMPACT on your life? on: June 24, 2016, 05:31:06 AM

10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: June 24, 2016, 05:07:35 AM
One of the biggest problem with bitcoin is the confirmation time.

This because nobody can know exactly when the a transaction will be confirmed.

Because we have seen many attacks or 'stress test' to the network which thousands of transaction are not confirmed.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase has partnered with Paypal - Officially! on: June 24, 2016, 04:37:33 AM

12  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: June 24, 2016, 04:20:11 AM
now many little genius. they've been able to operate a computer and create a simple program. I think benchmarks to understand bitcoin is how much the little boy to understand to operate a computer device.
But there should also be a age-basis as to when they could actually use bitcoins becuase bitcoin is free. You can buy anything with bitcoins. I mean LITERALLY everything, even those things and stuff that aren't suitable for kids of very young ages. Sure, we can warn them about those stuffs but their curiosity will not stop them.

At the time being, Im not sure Bitcoin community is age approapriate - agree with you.

14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: June 23, 2016, 10:27:23 PM
I'd say aprox a quarter of whats stopping people from using Bitcoin is the media made conception that Bitcoin is associated with criminal activity.

18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FUCK! Bitcoin is dead again. This time for sure. on: June 23, 2016, 09:03:02 PM
No bitcoin will never die, since most of the people are like BTC as a currency and earning purpose.
May be It can be possible if the BTC faces a perfect competitors in crypto world. So the crypto currency will, not, die

It absolutely could die.. As much as I hate to say it. If there's coins with things that Bitcoin can not do, looking into the future Bitcoin falling to 0$ is a high probability. Ethereum, not so much IMO.
19  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2017 Year of the Bitcoin on: June 23, 2016, 08:55:42 PM
Well 2017 is still so far and we are into 2016 and this is very important year as per so financial giant prediction for more high price than before, blocking halving will make price skyrocket and i am quite sure it will be get stable around $800-$1000 before end of current year.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Bitcoin even have a future? on: June 23, 2016, 08:05:44 PM
Now that I've gotten your attention, I promise there's a method to my madness. We've all been arguing over Bitcoin XT and (now) Bitcoin Classic while ignoring that there's a real world outside of Bitcointalk and the endless schemes to get more Bitcoin. In the grand scheme of things, it's not even really all that important whether Bitcoin stands a chance of destroying traditional banks as long as Bitcoin or whatever replaces Bitcoin if it stumbles can carve out its own niche. But we're marching toward a world where things are going to be moving pretty fast in matters that don't necessarily have to do with economics and finances, except for maybe who's going to be holding the moneybags. Is it going to be us, or is it going to be the big banks, or is it going to be some Third World tyrant who may have gotten a little too big for his britches and doesn't have a graceful way out? What I'm getting at here is, are we absolutely sure we're making all the right strategic moves to make sure cryptocurrencies have a meaningful, sustainable future instead of just being seen as a funny little gimmick that went the way of Beanie Babies in a few decades? Should we be making alliances with other up-and-coming, innovative technologies to make sure we can achieve our long-term goals? This is something we'll have to consider if we want Bitcoin to have any kind of a future.

I worry Bitcoin doesn't have a future anymore, the devolopement is in shambles and its hard to see the community ever coming together to get anything done. Ethereum on the other hand.. GOLD!
