Keep it up! People need to see the dark side of Dash and its hidden dealings... they are going to get better and better at hiding thier tracks in the future.

Seeing as most of your hate steemit, i'll post a copy of the article here. 1. Dash recently hired Coinfirm, and is paying them from the 10% block reward tax to track all Dash payments except mixed ones. Dash users are paying for their own de-anonymizing. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.steemimg.com%2Fimages%2F2017%2F02%2F19%2Fdash-tracks-funds500e9.jpg&t=663&c=c9Y2qTIBfaTcEw) It's is now well known that Dash wen't out of their way to partner up with http://www.Coinfirm.io, a company who specializes in tracking all transactions, identifying individuals, creating blacklists and whitelists and other KYC/AML services. These rather expensive services are being paid for BY THE BLOCKCHAIN, why would a coin that was once privacy first hire such a company you ask? More control. There are no other good reason behind the motives. Ask yourselves, why would a coin that proclaims to have 100% fungibility be hiring a company that specializes in de-anonymizing, blacklisting and identifying folks? 2. Dash hasn't touched or upgraded Darksend in a very long time, it's still utterly slow, and is in-convenient as hell. Even InstantSend is now offline. If Dash truly was privacy first, you would think there would have been many upgrades to their core feature, right? Wrong, Dash has been focused on spending as much of the blockchain funds as possible on marketing gimmicks, tradeshows, and getting a brand new centralized office in Arizona. Those all seem more to be like a bankster-esque approach to a crypto currency who's trying to change the financial world, sounds more like they want to join the old financial world to me.. Hell they don't even have InstantSend right now due to lack of giving a crap about their core selling points, why would a successful crypto basically orphan it's 1st and 2nd best selling points? Because it's a house of cards, duh. Dash doesn't have a single privacy or instant option on a single mobile device either? So much for a fungible, instant coin, again all marketing. How could a coin that claims to be private, instant and so on, not have a single mobile wallet with these options available? The answer to this is obvious, it's all marketing, the people behind Dash know exactly what to promise to keep the valuations rising, all while pushing off any important technical updates 3. Why use Dash when you can just use Bitcoin + Samourai Wallet? Even they think the Coinfirm deal is worrisome. Even MAID will be better. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.steemimg.com%2Fimages%2F2017%2F02%2F19%2Fsamourai-wallet-tweet9b672.jpg&t=663&c=CAOC5b6x7U66vA) The reason Dash Core team likes to say their coin is valuable is simply due to a few reasons; it's instant, its fungible and the masternodes provide good ROI. But this simply isn't true, first off InstantSend is offline, and Darksend is a complete hack job of a technology. People won't even try to crack it because it's not worth their time, noone uses it in the first place. Just ask Coinfirm... before you know it Coinfirm will be the last nail in the coffin that is the fungibility of Dash. Once again, it's not about principles, it's about $$$ and hype. The only reason Dash has any valuation right now is because they are bootstrapping features from other coins and riding a hype machine, if you wan't a really fungible network, wait for Maidsafecoin... or use Samourai Wallet.. Dash is scamming you. 4. Coinfirm engages in blacklisting and is not tracking mixed funds, basically meaning mixed funds will be blacklisted down the road. It is well known in the crypto-sphere that KYC/AML laws and people trying to push them are simply trying to ensure these coins are not fungible, and there can be an authoritarian style control in place when there needs to be, if we can't have a privacy first coin, then there is no such thing as financial freedom. Yet Dash, the coin formerly known as Darkcoin and XCoin, which initially was famous for it's privacy first mentality which came about as Darksend, a coinjoin-esque take on privacy, has started the long walk back to mommy and daddy KYC & AML. This is not good for consumers, and definitely not good for the future users of Dash. Why do you ask? Because Dash is much like a paper boat in the wind, it goes wherever it is told to. Dash is not a community first coin, it is a small group of people doing whatever they can to get very wealthy off the backs of others around them. Dash is not a privacy first coin, it's a type of ponzi scheme never seen before, and up until now privacy served it's purpose, all the instamined funds are spread out and now the march towards becoming an entirely new coin to keep the profits churning has begun. One day noone will accept mixed funds and dash fingibility will be dead in the water. There has been a few people bringing these issues to light, but once again the echo chamber prevails: https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/privacy-first-vs-transparency-first.12057/https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/masternode-owners-going-to-jail.12845/#post-112188https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/spies-in-core-team-censorship-etc.12734/#post-110935https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/pre-proposal-separate-the-network-layer-from-the-vote-layer.12584/#post-110542https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/worried.12989/#post-113125Some more juicy tweets from @SamouraiWallet https://twitter.com/SamouraiWallet/status/814136296159449092Ps: Evan doesn't even code anymore, check his github, lawl. https://github.com/evan82https://twitter.com/CryptoGeekz/status/833435713198632960Join us at Steemit.com and help spread the word: https://steemit.com/crypto-news/@thedashguy/discussion-why-is-dash-sprinting-away-from-privacy-and-fungibility-a-look-at-the-coinfirm-io-dash-core-team-deal-and-its-kyc-aml

So a word from the outside, guys: I honestly know nothing about who is a scammer and who is not, but the biggest post, although containing no sources, has not been responded to, which looks 1-0 for the Dash critics.
Personal attacks seem to be the norm here, but persons making them do not realize that they look like spoield children, especially if they mention no facts.
Time to end the XMR vs DASH battle: Confessions of a Dash Enthusiasthttps://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1538753.msg15470903#msg15470903FeelTheBern = TheDashGuy He basicly scammed the Monero community by collecting donations from them under false pretenses. The donations were compensated in the end by Dash community members (they gave it to Fluffypony for further distribution). He has a history of trolling both the Dash and Monero community. You are of course perfectly free to believe his posts, but for those who know him better his posts are nothing more then just troll posts. You fail to state what Thedashguy did for dash. He created several websites, including the awesome dashndrink.com site, whatisdash.org, and many others for the community. Whatisdash.org was a far better site than dash.org and was completed in a month vs the dash.org redesign that took 1.5 years and still has broken links. Since he was totally blasted by core members for trying to help with dash.org and was totally disrespected when he offered a marketing proposal he stopped helping Dash. (FYI, that same core member that blasted thedashguy, yidakee, was quietly fired - so it was even admitted he was in the wrong) And I have been heavily involved in dash building the Dash N Drink soda machine to show off InstantSend along with other examples of merchant tools like DashNGo. It was all looked at as a "too early" examples of Dash technology. The core just wanted to wait for Evolution before touching anything that could be used with merchants. It is all too fishy. Why wouldn't Dash put resources behind merchant tools and technology? It looks like the entire project is a scam to partner with big companies to leach the budget and bring in more investors to raise the coin price. So you ask why previously devoted Dash enthusiasts are now against Dash? We learned about the real intentions of the developers....and it isn't to grow transactions or make the currency useful. You always did have a much more succinct way of explaining things than I did... thanks for the sprinkle of logic! Oh wait, logic in crypto currencies? YOU GO AWAY SIR!

Solarminer will be thrilled to see you promote his DashnDrinks site this way TheDashGuy / Mr. Troll ... well done.
I approve this thread. No worries. Nothing can be done with Dash N Drink or any Point of Sale idea with Dash until a mobile wallet can use InstantSend again. Strange to see you support TheDashGuy (aka FeelTheBern) and his view of Dash as a scam this way and at the same time being active in a Dash selling product. From a business point of view that does not make much sense to me. Good luck with DashnDrinks, i hope it all works out for you in the end. Just to be clear, I currently have no businesses accepting Dash or businesses selling anything Dash related. Dash is too risky to mess with right now. Coinfirm is tracking every transaction(very easy with so few everyday) the government can easily implement retroactive legislation to cause problems. It is also very likely masternodes will be tracked to their IP and public address making them big targets. I just don't see any of this ending well for Dash. That is besides the fact that Dash has no advantage over Litecoin right now without InstantSend. Sure it has pretty masternodes and a pretty core controlled budget system and maybe some hope for a fancy Evolution of Paypal in 2018. With so very few transactions, there is more anonymity just by using a coin with more transactions. And Litecoin has wallets on the app store so Apple users can actually use it, along with lightning months away. There are many other coins that are actually developing new ideas - not trying to copy the banking system. Well that is certainly a relief to know. Having a known scammer like TheDashGuy promoting the DashnDrinks site worried me. In a way i guess it is good to see you finally take that step to go full anti-Dash .. makes it more easy for us at the dash.org/forum to understand why you are still so very very busy there. It all makes sense now. In time it would perhaps be better to just move on... We can't move on, then we become complacent in the scam and are now morally bound to make sure people find out all about the stink thats rotting away from inside Dash.

Accountability is the most undemocratic event because it disproportionately benefits those with the most power.

All these haters here wanting to defend their scamcoin... golly jee I must have struck a nerve with too much evidences. edit: Here is someone else who sees through the BS within Dash... You don't understand the criticism because in your argument, the outcome of the vote is more important than whether it was corrupt or not! Pathetic really, clearly no morals.
It should also be noted, while you claim many proposals have successfully passed, those proposal (including this one) have successfully passed with less than 25% of the totally number of masternodes available. And given 1047 votes can be easily achieved from just a handful of people, I'd say the number of MNs owned by just a few individuals is highly relevant. This leads one to ask, why was there only 11 no votes? - suddenly the pin drops and you realise that Coinfirm and AML/KYC compliance was not directly mentioned on the proposal! - for it were, the outcome might of been different. That, sir, is called corruption. https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/dash-has-cancer-take-a-look-at-the-xray.13145/Double Edit: Hey Qwizzie, click DashnDrink.com, go ahead. Tard.

Coming Soon to Dash: COLLATERALIZED MINING![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FgxFDn9p.png&t=663&c=KwiYfCjluWMV-g) Moar Ponzilicious goodness! Now Miners must also help artificially pump demand for Dash, just for the privilege of helping secure the network. What a great way to create a huge disincentive for anyone to contribute their hashpower. What's next, requiring regular users who want to send or receive transactions to "lock in" a certain amount of Dash? ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Oh I know, let's also require posts on the Dash Slack and Forum to "lock in" a certain amount of Dash! Ponzify All The Things!!! ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) Thats not a bad idea, you'd have to buy some Dash to keep trolling us ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Please do not quote the morons. I know you mean well, but I'll quote whatever I like, cheers Why is it so hard to have an intelligent conversation about Dash's collateralized mining feature? Is there any particular reason you guys are trying so hard to avoid discussing it? If collateralized mining is such a great idea, why the reluctance to engage in a conversation about it? Why not move the discussions to other platforms outside of the Bitcoin echo chambers? The reason Dash is about to hit $20 is becaue we all have let the scam build up to this level. And it's up to us as community members to shut it down before alot of people lose alot of money... I think it will be wise to switch the POW to multialgo. The blockchain is under attack from ppl with alot of funding.
Under attack how precisely? Genuine question, since I read somewhere ( cannot exactly recall where added source) that DASH miners are actively censoring DarkSend transactions and thereby slowing them down significantly. Your notion could be related. EDIT: Adding source: https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/coinbase.8998/#post-94696Actually, that was a bug. In fact, I think we fixed it in 12.1 already (thx Udjin!). Along with a really nasty bug that stops the budget system from syncing properly as well. The next version should have swimmingly fast syncing and privacy ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) . Ok, back to Terraria... ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Don't remind me of Terraria please, i already sunk 200 hours into that damn game..

I encourage everyone to go read up on Michael Terpin and his posts on the dashtalk forum regarding the PR proposal: https://dashtalk.org/threads/budget-system-v2-transform-pr.7991/page-7he started chatting on page 7 and on page 11 he said something along the lines of he needs to get back to his REAL work, as opposed to explain himself to the community that fired him once already. He didn't last nearly as long as I thought he might sadly, he seems to just be okay with piggybacking on the core team's likability to get his proposals passed and I STRONGLY URGE EVERYONE to respectfully ask his (soon to be masternode owner) self to participate in the Dash community like the rest of us and submit his own proposals to the network he wants to work for, as opposed to the core team in which he feels is his only "client".

A few things:
Darksend
Definitely horrendously slow if you need to use it "right away." Speed should certainly be a priority. At the same time, it's *intended* to be an ahead-of-time mixing process. In theory, the time it takes shouldn't matter too much, because the vast majority of your purchases (anything that you purchase more than two days from now) can be done instantly.
Development Roadmap
I would love to see one of Evan's extremely good "Dash Roadmap" posts. We have a sizable team--I was staggered to learn that Budget v2 and Evolution will be worked on concurrently due to having so many developers. That's amazing--I didn't realize it was possible! It would be awesome to get a comprehensive roadmap, with who is working on what, expected completion date, next steps, etc. At the same time this is risky, because development priorities may need to pivot (for instance, I don't think revamping the budget system was on anybody's mind until two weeks ago), and timeframes almost always get overshot (Ethereum ended up being many months late...instead of "Q4 2014" it was July 28, 2015. Depending on how you read "Q4" that's between 8 - 10 months overdue.)
[mode note: removed off-topic content]
I second this. I posted a request on this awhile back as well. DASH roadmap with who is working where would be great. Would also LOVE to see a roadmap. Dash changes very quickly, and i'm sure alot of us are curious what kind of things Evan will be talking about at the Satoshis Island Getaway... What is our goal here? Are we there to make friends? Find devs? Find more whales? Whats the reasoning behind this thing?

Everyone keep an eye on the www.WhatIsDash.org project and www.DashRoundTable.org, we will be turning these websites into very useful learning & news platforms specifically designed to educate anyone and everyone about Dash.
