Hi everyone!
After solving the overheat problem with my 5770 described in previous thread I found out the next issue - high wrong shares count. It reaches about 10%!

Help page of my pool tells me this problem may be caused by bad inet, overheat or overclock.

It's not my internet problem because i mine from 2 PCs behind one gateway and the second one has 0% of wrong. Though this PC with 5770 accesses the pool through Tor (it's an encrypted PC for confidential works, it has "no direct inet" policy) and miner sometimes get connection timeout - the wrong shares are shown at pool too, so they do reach pool and are really incorrect calculated shares.

It's not the overheat problem because i have already solved it and the temp is about 60C at all time.

It's not the overclock problem because i use no overclock.

I use:
- Ubuntu 12.04
- DiabloMiner of unknown version (don't know how to make it print its version, will be glad to know)
- AMD APP SDK 2.4

I tried using poclbm but had some problems with python not seeing necessary libs, spent a lot of time, haven't find a solution and just started with Diablo. So, who can help me make Diablo work well?

Thanks everyone for answers, I've figured this problem out.
It was damn dust that filled the radiator inside. After cleaning I have about 60.
Thanks!

Hi everyone,

I mine btc using Diablo Miner on Radeon 5770. It's GIGABYTE branded card in a closed case with a turbine fan:

It heats up to 90..95 *C even with 100% fan speed. Air temperature is about 20 *C, PC chassis is opened because side covers are lost (I found this chassis in garbage).

So I have 2 questions:
1) Is it safe for 24/7 mining?
2) Is it normal, or m.b. I need to clean the video card inside, change thermal paste, etc.?

Thanks!
